We had gel manicure appointments for 5 ladies as part of a baby shower and it was a great experience! Super clean, calming atmosphere and the techs were friendly. My gel manicure is looking amazing over a week later! Will definitely go back. ($40 at time of review.)

We were in the area and looking for a nail spa and drove past this spot. We popped in to see if they had any availability and they were able to fit us in for 2 pedicures. It was a really clean establishment and the pedicure chairs had the best messages in bedded into them. Great place for a pedicure!

My sister recommended lavish nail spa to me, and after Ti helped me and did my nails, I can say with pride that these are the best nails I have ever gotten in my life. Come here you guys they are truly amazing at what they do. I'm so glad that I could get my nails done here at a really good price ($96) instead of going to a nail tech that would probably charge me more for the same thing. Not to mention I love this location because it is close to me. Lavish Nails, you have my heart!

I really wished I would've received the 5 star treatment that everyone else raved about, but me, hubby and MIL were treated horribly, and my polish is already chipping 2 days later. And they made me late for my baby shower on top of everything. Called ahead of time to make sure they could take us and asked on the phone, when we first arrived and while they were doing the mani pedis if we would be done w polish dried by 340. Everyone said yes, kept saying yes, even until 335 when they hadnt even started my polish on gel manicure and I had to be the one to say no thanks, I really have to leave at the time I said. Got there at 225, asked again, yes, they said, you'll be out on time. Waited up front for 15 minutes even though we had an appt. Were moved to the chairs, they started on hubby immediately and MIL and I waited another 15 minutes. It's close to 3 at this point. They start on our pedis, finish at 320. I said, you know, I dont think we have time to do my manicure, I dont think I want that, no thanks. They reassured me, it will be done and dry by 340. They then left and came by 5 minutes later. Tech started the mani leisurely while chatting, kept stopping to talk to other techs. Shaped my nails, did my cuticles, and now it's a few minutes before 335, not a single coat of polish on my nails. I said, it's not possible for you to be done by 340, SHE STILL SAID YES... I'm shaking my head. Everyone I spoke to the entire time lied to us and I'm not sure why. No apology, nothing. Meanwhile, they are doing my MIL's mani at the pedi chair, uncomfortably and rushed. I get to the counter, they want me to pay for a mani pedi, said I refused polish. I said i'm not paying for something I never received. They said I refused the polish but that "once you put your hands in the water, it's manicure". I repeated myself, for the millionth time, that we said we had to leave at a particular time, they lied and said they'd be done, and they weren't. In addition, manicure comes with a hand massage, which I never received. Manager comes over, horrible attitude, raising her voice at me, no apology, and then threatens me. I repeated myself, I didnt receive the services listed as part of manicure and she completely ignores that they have been lying to me and didnt provide what was guaranteed, no apology, does not address the fact that staff have lied to me since we walked in the door. Continues to threaten me. I have literally never had worse service. In addition, all of us have chipped polish - my pedis usually lasts weeks, no problem. Just go to Central West End Nails & Spa, I never have problems with bad service and people treat you like a human being and don't threaten you.

Tony was the best!! Got me in and did my nails in 45 mins!! Highly recommend and everyone there is so nice. Everyone is super friendly

Love, love, love Lavish! I was having a hard time finding a place to become a regular after moving to St. Louis. I'm so grateful I found this place. Tommy and Tony are my go-to guys. But everyone here is fantastic-truly. I've sent so many friends and they're just as impressed. Great SNS color selection, detail-oriented technicians, and fantastic customer service. Now I just need them to serve drinks-- wine, water, soda?! Also-- the last time I was there a family (mother and her daughters) drove over an hour and a half to get their nails done prior to one of the daughter's wedding. They drove AN HOUR AND A HALF(!) because of Lavish's quality, commitment to service, and warm staff.

This nail salon is new and modern, with very competitive prices. Extremely clean and new equipment. Staff is very friendly and patiently helped me find the perfect nail color I wanted from traditional to gel. I love how their nail colors are perfectly organized by color, and never just thrown about. This is my new favorite nail salon, and their never too busy. Bittersweet because I get services right away, but want to see their business grow and sustain.

Lilly and Tony do such a wonderful job! And they will make sure that you are satisfied with your nails. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely the best nail salon i've been to! They all are just the sweetest people around. It was my first time ever going to this salon and they made me feel so comfortable and did such a good job. I moved here 6 years ago and away from my regular nail salon. I gave up on finding a place in the area that didn't require me more than a 20 minute drive and was also affordable and GOOD. I'm so used to techs telling me they can't do things or just not getting my preferences right. This is my second time at Lavish. They checked nearly every box. Walk ins Dip Comfy Pedi chairs Shaped as requested Matte Finish It would be amazing if they offered paraffin pedis, but that's the only thing missing for me here. Nick was amazing and kept checking in that I liked shape, thickness, color... I'll be scheduling with him moving forward. Also of note- these mani's are hard and they last. My last set broke but that's because I do A LOT of work with my hands. Pedi still looked brand new two weeks later. read more

Adam does a great job shaping, cleaning , and filing my nails. He was detail oriented and careful with my nails. Their prices are reasonable as well. They have lots of colors to choose from and offer more brands than just DND and OPI. I will be back for sure! read more

I used to come here when I was younger with my mom and always had a good experience, however I came back myself and had a horrible one. I called and made an appointment for 430pm for a full set, which they said on the phone would be no problem. I got there 5 minutes early to pick colors, and sat down. 2 people came in after me and did the same. However, those two people got pulled in front of me. I didn't even wait. After 30 minutes of sitting there, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I left with nothing done. Why say you can take an appointment if you can't/are over booked. So if you're new and make an appointment, just be aware you are not at all their priority, paying customer or not. read more

Tony is the rudest nail tech that I have ever encountered. Polish started peeling in 3 days after he made a mistake by using non-gel polish during a gel mani. Then walked out of salon instead of fixing mistake. read more

I've been coming here for two years and they were 5 stars back then. They're 2 stars now. They don't seem to care about what their customers want. It's a hassle for them to fix whatever error you point out. Ex: I ALWAYS get a French pedicure - that's it. They use to ask me how thick I wanted my tip, now they don't. But they make a fuss when you ask them to make the tip thinner/thicker. I don't get it ‍ read more

We made an appointment for 4 people- 2 adults and 2 kids- for pedicures/ polish. They took us as requested at 1, even though they were busy and continued to get busy as we were being helped. Staff was really nice and accommodating, especially for the kids. Great pedicure. Would recommend and will be back. read more

Best Nail Spa I've been to in awhile. The staff is so friendly and outgoing, great conversation the whole time! I got dip on my nails, I've been trying to grow them out. They didn't shave them down really hard like most salons do. Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon! read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend so I thought I'd give it a try. Didn't have an appointment so I got there when they opened and was greeted immediately by a friendly worker. Didn't have time for the full mani/pedi so got a polish change/cut. The worker (didn't get her name) was very efficient and did a great job. Will be going back for the full service soon! read more

I've searched for a good nail salon in St. Louis for over 3 years. I've finally found the one. Lavish is an incredibly clean salon and doesn't have a toxic smell when you walk in. The decor is chic and minimal. I always feel relaxed when I walk in. They have several big TVs around the salon which I enjoy because if I'm not able to use my phone, I enjoy being able to watch some HGTV. I always feel relaxed at Lavish. But what sets Lavish apart is their service. They have some great nail techs. This week, I got dip nails done by Zenny and she was AMAZING. The best professional manicurist I've had. She was personable, checked in to make sure I was happy and comfortable, and stayed focus on the task. It's a fine balance between talking too much and completely ignoring the customer but Zenny has hit that "Goldilocks" area of just right. My nails look incredible. I keep looking down at them in awe. And for the price, their services are a great value! read more

I tried this place based on the many good reviews. I went in for a manicure. When I didn't want an upgrade to a gel manicure, all communication from the manicurist completely stopped. I believe her name was Han. No words were spoken until after she did two coats of polish, only then did she ask if I liked the color. Every time she painted a nail, she was scrapping off the polish she got on my skin. Every time. Of course there was some left on my cuticles. The absolutely worst thing was, after my manicure, she went to the sink and rinsed off her tools with water. Nothing else. No soap or disinfectant. She dried them off, put them in her plastic box and immediately used them on her next client for a pedicure. I ran home and disinfected my hands because if she didn't clean them for one person, I'm pretty sure she didn't clean them for me. Never again! read more

Went for a full set of acrylics and a pedicure. I'd give 4.5 Stars if I could. The only thing keeping it from a full 5 star rating is that my cuticles could be better. A little oil or something at the end of getting acrylics would make a difference. But on with the good! It was my first time visiting and the place was bumping. The energy was good, the place was clean, and there was a great selection of colors. I had Vanessa and even after being slammed before my appointment, I appreciated her attention to detail. She really took the time to look closely at her work and answer all my questions. She and the staff around me seemed to be very strong communicators and prices were reasonable. I also noticed that there were several young little girls getting mani/pedis and the staff was super sweet and patient with them. I'll be going back with my daughter and may bump my rating up if the experience continues to give me such good results. read more

I book app for a pedicure and was able to get in next day. It was busy but my person was prompt. Place was clean, sanitary and well managed. Worker did not speak much English and we used hand signals. I got a great pedicure. Price was lower than I had been paying. Definitely would recommend coming here. I will be back read more

Been here three times so far. They are all VERY friendly and funny. Have had no issues with them at all and when I get acrylics here this is the only place I can actually wait and get a fill because the nails don't pop off like I've had with a few other salons. Maybe they just use the proper amount of glue? 10/10 every time so far. Will be back. read more

I'm 15 weeks pregnant, and I had chosen this spa specifically because I wanted to feel safe and confident in the provider's experience. I reached out afterward and was offered a "touch-up," but with the irritation I experienced, it didn't feel safe to continue. This was not the level of care or professionalism I expected, and I'm really disappointed given the spa's previous reputation.

I have been looking for a salon in Affton/Mehlville for about 4 months and saw their Grand Opening sign. My daughter and I walked in for pedis and were very pleased. The employees were very sweet and they did a great job. I usually don't get the massage, because they are too rough, but she was very gentle. :) We will go back. read more
