My first time there was awesome. I thought this place is nice, clean, and elegant. My nails turned out great and exactly how I wanted them. Today I went back for just a fill. Scheduled an appointment for a fill in and everything. My nails weren't even raising so a dip fill in shouldn't be a problem but no it warranted a whole new set apparently. I am handicapped so I had to have my head down the whole time to keep my hands and arms where the tech could reach them. It wasn't until she removed all the dip on the right hand did I see she wasn't doing a fill but a complete removal. By that time I knew it was too late to stop her. I thought okay maybe they were worse than I thought and she is just going to do a whole new set. No big deal. But then she started putting on color polish. Found out she was doing gel in a glittery blue. My nails before were a darker blue with a slight shimmer that I loved. Now I'm stuck with glittery blue nails and I'm not a glitter person. I'm never going back there. ****I do want to update my review after being told by my mom that with dip, taking it all off first is typical. That is my fault for not understanding the process and not the nail salons. I do stand by my not being able to choose whether I want gel or dip. I thought with me coming in with dip that I would get dip again. I never said anything about gel. I saw a white box with blue in it and thought it was the same thing I had last time. I do remember a white box with blue in it last time so just assumed they were the same. I do have multiple painful spots around my nail bed from the tools used. I do appreciate the owner calling to fix it but unfortunately I'm leaving for vacation in a couple days and do not have time to go back up there to get them fixed to what I originally went in for since I live 30 minutes away and only go to get my nails done when I'm in the area. I have never been to this Soho before. My normal salon is Soho in Chesterfield but wanted to try this one out since I just moved closer to this one. This nail salon looked wonderful, clean, and very organized. However, the workers were not so friendly, one in particular. I got an older lady (not sure name) who was very aggressive with my nails and made HALF of them bleed and throb during the entire time. She was very careless and did not seem to be focused or paying attention whatsoever. At one point I JUMPED out of my seat because of the way she was cutting my nails and poking at my nail from behind. She would grab and pull at my hands the entire time again, very aggressively and it was almost to the point where I was holding back tears of how much she was hurting me. She also trimmed down my nails so much to where they looked completely different. The shape and size of my nails were seriously horrible and not worth the $65 I paid with tip. I later went back to the nail salon because I was furious with how my nails looked. I called before and they told me I could come in. When I got back, I explained how I was not pleased with how my nails looked. I got the same lady and she was being so rude to me about the situation when my hands were in serious pain because of her (still bleeding) and my nails looked awful. I explained to her that if she fixed the shape and everything I was worried about them being even more shorter which was the last thing I wanted on $65 nails. She then proceeded to ask if I wanted GEL on top of my DIP to fix it???? I paid for dip with tip, nothing special, 1 color. I said no because that's not what I paid for as I was showing her all the cuts around my nails from her. She then had an attitude with me, rolling her eyes and being even more aggressive and not caring. She started taking all of them off and having to redo them. She had to soak my nails which BURNED because of all the cuts and scraps SHE did to me. I was there until almost 8 pm getting the fixed but from a DIFFERENT LADY, who was amazing, respectful, and gentle and careful. Her name was Tiffany I think. She was wonderful and did not charge me anything to fix my entire set of nails which I felt horrible about. Hoping my tip from the previous lady went to her because Tiffany deserves it NOT the older lady. If you see her or ever get her, you will know and understand. I honestly will never be coming to this salon again and hope no one ever receives service from this lady. read more

I came here because I've heard great things. I guess since I just got a regular gel manicure I wasn't top priority. My nail artist was nice enough, but for some reason I was not asked once what I thought of the shape. She did not notice to air bubbles on my thumb that I had to point out. I had to point out that one of my nails was crooked and she kind of fixed it. Then when it was time to shape the other hand she didn't even look at them and gave me no time to ask her to fix them because she was quickly putting lotion on my hand. I get my nails done OFTEN and when I'm spending my money I appreciate things to be done well. If I wanted a subpar manicure I would've done it myself and saved my self money. They are bumpy, uneven and a bit embarrassing. read more

My husband & I went for first time with appointments. We were seated right away. Chose the $45 pedicures. It was a Saturday & quite busy. Both our technicians were very rushed. They used timers for massage & did not go a second over. This timed massage seemed very strange & that's all we got for choosing the more expensive pedicure. My nails looked ok although the bottom of my feet are still very rough. Very little time was spent on my feet. The edges of my nails are ragged. The polish is already chipped after 3 days. My husband's tech nicked his toe & it bled. Overall, it was not a relaxing experience accompanied by sub- par service. read more

It was pretty busy and seems like I got a half azz pedicure for $65. Not worth the money. I still have the calluses on my feet I was trying to get scrubbed off! And some of my nails are unevenly trimmed. It is very pretty inside and the people are nice tho! I'm sure if they were less busy, they would take more time to make sure they do a complete job. I had an amazing experience today. I couldn't make an appointment online before, so i walked in. I was greeted by the front desk clerk, and I was immediately walked back to a station. I sat for less than a minute before the manicurist came out to start my session. He actually smiled, and welcomed me. It was nice. I told him what I wanted, and he said he would do his best. He was kind, gentle, and thorough. He offered suggestions based on the current state of my nails, while carefully listening to what I wanted, but, he also watched me to make sure I was happy with what he was doing. I had a hard time relaxing my hands, because I was so excited to watch the progress of the mani! The salon looked high end, and was immaculately clean. This is my new favorite salon! I loved how my nails turned out, and am pretty confident that every nail tech there can give you a great mani or pedi! read more

My first 2 visits were amazing! But the following 2 not as much. This visit July 5th, was alright I always get a summer pedicure and I expect too get what I paid for, but the fresh oranges weren't included like they normally are and if they ran out or weren't doing that it should have been communicated. Then when doing my manicure they kept getting my skin with the tools and it hurt that there was alittle blood. Now this service only took an hour and a half for both. That and normally you guys do a great job getting the polish on my pinky toe (that's why I keep coming back because it's hard too find a place that can do it) and it's like non existent so I'm actually not happy with how my toes look Then the visit before that visited on June 19th. It took them an hour and a half to do a 45 minute pedicure. Which honestly I was on the verge of tears because I went in at 6:00 got taken care of right away and didn't leave til after 8:00 given I have a time I go too bed at and was hoping to be done by 7:30 too get in bed for work. I made an appointment for 2 pedicures online for 5:30pm on a Wednesday. Got to the salon, checked in and still had to wait. I inquired about the wait when I had an appointment and a confirmation. Apparently, if you don't book with a specific technician there is no point to having an appointment and you are treated as a walk-in. I then had 6 people in front of me and an over 20 minute wait. What in the world is the point of letting someone book an apt online if it means nothing when you show up?! Remove the option for "any technician" from the website or at least put a disclaimer. Worst customer service. I've been to this location before but had a new technician - Christina. I had gel acrylic nails on and needed a new full set. She did not soak my nails prior to taking them off and just plain ripped them off and told me it would take too long to soak them. Very rude about it. My nail beds are sore and red. Proceeded to put a new set on. She got one hand done and was very sloppy. At that point I told her I was just going to leave and she refused to let me go until I was "happy".
