I've been coming to Modern Med for a few years now. I've gotten filler & IV treatments here & they make everything comfortable & are super personable! Watch out for their yearly open houses bc they have great opportunities for deals! I love they have their own rewards program so make sure to check in when you get there. Recently I've been coming in & seeing Nurse Kalie. She's wonderful! Super nice, listens & offers great advice. Everytime I come, the staff is always super kind & welcoming! This is a very nice, clean place. Staff is friendly. I've been here multiple times and have been very happy with the VI peels I got. This last time though I did the prf easy gel under my eyes and have to say not worth the money at all and I'm pretty disappointed. Not sure if I needed more injected? Results very minimal so if you're thinking about this to help with dark circles I don't recommend it. Other services there may be better :) read more

Watch your credit card with this company. TWICE they have attempted to keep my card ON FILE for reoccurring charges that exceed the ONE time charge authorized. You find out months later when they automatically charge your card they keep "ON FILE". Today, authorized $100. They attempted to charge $447. Discover had to reject. However, the only way to get credit card OFF FILE to avoid future monthly reoccuring charges is to claim lost or stolen. read more

I was so happy with the way my skin looked and felt after the hydrating facial. She did an amazing job and she talked me through what she was using so I would know. Yesterday I went to Modern Med to receive tear trough/cheek filler. I have been to Lauren since the beginning and always (I'd like to think ) have been a pretty easy patient! During the procedure With nurse Maddie & nurse Lauren, I started to become very hot and pale. I didn't say much but they were quick to notice and we took a break and they did all the things to bring me back to life and continue care. Amazing place! Love my face every time I leave here. I even get the best skin care products from here too. Lauren is very knowledgeable and takes pride in what she does. You can tell she invests a lot of her time and energy into perfecting her skill. It's obvious from her social media accounts that she is always learning new things and doesn't hesitate to teach what she knows to her staff. And she's a nurse practitioner! Even better. Normally I'm not a big fan of trying out brand new businesses, but Lauren has been doing this much longer than her business has been open, so I didn't hesitate - so much so that I drive 2 hours to St. Louis to see her each time. This past Saturday I met with Kimberly for a Modern Med facial. I was hesitant about receiving my first peel because although I have oily skin in my Tzone my cheeks can be super sensitive. Kim reassured me and explained what she was using and why. The facial was amazing. I had super minor peeling from Sunday night to Monday morning. I am shocked at the significant reduction in redness in my cheeks. It's so minor now. Booked my May appt already. While I cannot speak to the review of any clinician, I write this review in reference to the face of the company: the front of house staff. I booked an appointment which I had to reschedule. So I cancelled online and booked a new appointment. While the appointment cancelled on my end, it did not cancel on their end....not my fault though. I never received a confirmation text or email. When I was called about missing my appointment, I was charged a $30 no show fee. While she said it could be put towards future treatments, her tone was bitchy and I was totally rubbed the wrong way. I cancelled future appointments and went back to Nayak. I feel discretion should always be used in situations like this one. read more

I can't say great enough things about this place - but their staff make it even better! I started seeing Nurse Lauren (owner of Modern Med) and she is excellent with her consultations and technical ability. I saw Nurse Lindsey when Lauren was training her and she's picked up some of the greatness Lauren displays. I've been seeing Lindsey ever since and I can say I don't think I'll ever see anyone else - at least outside of Modern Med. all of their injectors are knowledgeable, realistic with expectations on results, and straightforward in telling what you do/don't need. I've been turned away from services before since they deemed it wasn't needed or I wasn't ready for it. I now live in Chicago and make trips back to STL for services from them every 3-4 months. Their pricing is more than fair and they always advise when there are manufacturer or supplier specials to take advantage of to save more. I met Lauren and Lindsey for a consult back in May and it was so amazing they are both extremely knowledgeable!! I wanted something done and Lauren was very honest that she wouldn't do it because it was dangerous! Which I didn't know and was very happy she told me that! They also didn't make me feel like I need to do anything or I have to spend money with them! I have since come back and gotten my forehead done by Lindsey who is so fun, nice and gentle!
