It's worth reading this long review : I've been to many doctors' offices and medical facilities because of chronic health issues, and Modern Med stands out for its exceptional, compassionate nursing team. They've always been patient, knowledgeable, and determined, even when my care has been challenging. The clinic is beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable hydration chairs that make every visit relaxing. Whether you're there for IV hydration, wellness services, skincare, laser treatments, or injections, the team goes above and beyond to make you feel genuinely cared for. I highly recommend Modern Med! Lauren, the owner, is truly one of the most inspiring women I've ever met. After hearing her story and getting to know her, I left feeling motivated to chase my own dreams. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that passion shines through in every part of her business. I think it's incredible that, despite being the owner, she's still hands-on and will personally start IVs and care for patients. That says so much about her character. She doesn't just own the business--she lives it. She cares deeply about her employees, and it shows because every single member of the staff seems genuinely happy to be there. If I were a nurse, this is exactly the kind of environment I'd want to work in. Lauren is compassionate, kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and someone I highly recommend following on social media because she's constantly educating, inspiring, and spreading positivity. Plus, her adorable dogs are an added bonus! Jaclyn deserves all the recognition in the world. Finding my veins isn't easy, but she never gives up. She stays patient, determined, and always succeeds. Beyond her incredible nursing skills, she's one of the most attentive people I've ever met. She constantly checks in to make sure I'm comfortable, asking if I need water, a blanket, a pillow, or anything else to make my visit easier. She has such a calming presence and truly makes every patient feel like they're her priority. Madeleine is an absolute ray of sunshine. She brings so much positive energy into the room that you can't help but smile when you see her. She's upbeat, encouraging, and has that fun, big-sister personality that instantly makes you feel comfortable. She's amazing at starting IVs, always offers helpful suggestions, and somehow makes every appointment enjoyable. Madeline's determination is on point always, she has helped so much at finding my small veins that roll. Modern Med has been a life-changing part of my health journey. After years of chronic illness and a difficult weight-loss journey, weekly IV hydration and vitamin infusions have made an incredible difference. My hair, which had become thin and was falling out rapidly, is now healthier, fuller, and growing back. My energy has improved, I'm staying hydrated, and I feel healthier overall. One of the biggest benefits is avoiding unnecessary ER visits for IV fluids. Instead, I receive compassionate, personalized care in a comfortable, welcoming environment. The nurses are gentle, especially if you're nervous about needles, and they truly go above and beyond to make every visit relaxing. The providers take time to listen, educate, and create personalized care plans instead of rushing through appointments. Their easy-to-use app, membership savings, and referral program are added bonuses.Modern Med doesn't just treat symptoms--they help patients take control of their health. I feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for every time I visit, and I trust this team completely. Every visit reminds me that healthcare can be compassionate, personal, and empowering. If you're looking for a team that genuinely cares about helping you become the healthiest version of yourself, I cannot recommend Modern Med enough. They have changed my life in more ways than I ever expected, and I will always be grateful for everything they've done for me!! Thank you to everyone!!! I've been coming to Modern Med for a few years now. I've gotten filler & IV treatments here & they make everything comfortable & are super personable! Recently I've been coming in & seeing Nurse Kalie. She's wonderful! Super nice, listens & offers great advice. Everytime I come, the staff is always super kind & welcoming! This space is super clean & very updated with all the technology they have. I can't wait to see their new space opening soon! read more

Everyone here is FANTASTIC! Both Maddie and Miranda are incredible injectors with painless technique. Lauren (the owner), truly makes this place stand out. First time coming here but I'm not new to getting facials. My good friend recommended that I try Elizabeth for my skin and so I went. I was so happy with the way my skin looked and felt after the hydrating facial. She did an amazing job and she talked me through what she was using so I would know. I'm very picky about my skin because I take so much pride in taking care of it. I tell people all the time that I do not just let anybody touch my skin. She was really incredible and I'm so glad I listened to my friend. This is a great place to go for top notch skin care. read more

This is a very nice, clean place. Staff is friendly. I've been here multiple times and have been very happy with the VI peels I got. This last time though I did the prf easy gel under my eyes and have to say not worth the money at all and I'm pretty disappointed. Not sure if I needed more injected? Results very minimal so if you're thinking about this to help with dark circles I don't recommend it. Other services there may be better :) read more

Watch your credit card with this company. TWICE they have attempted to keep my card ON FILE for reoccurring charges that exceed the ONE time charge authorized. You find out months later when they automatically charge your card they keep "ON FILE". Today, authorized $100. They attempted to charge $447. Discover had to reject. However, the only way to get credit card OFF FILE to avoid future monthly reoccuring charges is to claim lost or stolen. read more

I had dermaplaning and a facial done a couple weeks ago and it was amazing! The atmosphere is so relaxing, the staff is so kind, and facility is very clean and inviting. After my facial I went to get a blowout and the young lady doing my blowout (who I'd never met before) actually commented on how beautiful and hydrated my skin looked! I'm 47 years old and I can't tell you the last time that has happened! I can't wait for my next appointment! Highly recommend! read more

Yesterday I went to Modern Med to receive tear trough/cheek filler. I have been to Lauren since the beginning and always (I'd like to think ) have been a pretty easy patient! During the procedure With nurse Maddie & nurse Lauren, I started to become very hot and pale. I didn't say much but they were quick to notice and we took a break and they did all the things to bring me back to life and continue care. From Lauren sitting me back and giving me a fan, Jackie bringing me a snack and some water, and another nurse brought me an icepack - everyone was so alert and on it and really cared about how I felt. I can't thank these girls enough and they truly care about their clients! read more

Today was my first visit to Modern Med. Their new building is beautiful. The staff was very nice & super welcoming. I had an appointment with Caitlin. She listened to all of my skin concerns & explained the plan for my appointment. I was extremely happy with the results of my facial. Can't wait for my next visit!!! read more

In the aesthetic world, finding someone who would rather cheer you on than watch you fall is rare- and Lauren is that gem. Her courses lay out the groundwork for any injector looking to break into the business as well as established injectors looking to expand their business. She offers a plethora of education that will help anyone better themselves. As far as Modern Med, their services are top notch! As a fellow provider, if I need to refer out services there is no one else I recommend. And as far as receiving treatments, I won't go anywhere else! read more

New building looks amazing! Awesome Boo-facial by Caitlin! Highly recommend Modern Med!

Amazing place! Love my face every time I leave here. I even get the best skin care products from here too. Lauren is very knowledgeable and takes pride in what she does. You can tell she invests a lot of her time and energy into perfecting her skill. It's obvious from her social media accounts that she is always learning new things and doesn't hesitate to teach what she knows to her staff. And she's a nurse practitioner! Even better. Normally I'm not a big fan of trying out brand new businesses, but Lauren has been doing this much longer than her business has been open, so I didn't hesitate - so much so that I drive 2 hours to St. Louis to see her each time. I would recommend her and her med spa to anyone. read more

I will NEVER go anywhere else for my aesthetic needs. Modern Med knows exactly how to do it and how to do it RIGHT! I have been botched with filler and Botox at other med spas in the area and once I found Modern Med, I knew I was set. Lauren and Michaela are my servicers and provide nothing but the utmost care and services. I travel an hour just to see these ladies and will continue to do so. Thank you for always making me feel confident and beautiful! read more

I initially came in for bbl laser treatment for my rosacea, my results are far better than I had even hoped for. Elizabeth was so kind and patient with all my questions and concerns. I've since had dysport and sculptra with Kalie and she practically held my hand because I was so nervous. No need, my skin looks amazing and the results are so natural! read more

I have now been to Modern Med five times, driving 2hrs one way. I have gotten tox, threads, a facial and filler. I trust these ladies. They absolutely know their industry and tend to go on the more conservative side. I have recommended and brought in family/friends who now love them as well. Be open and ready for honest opinions. read more

Nurse Lauren and Lindsey are outstanding injectors and their esthetician Elizabeth is top notch; my skin is always glowing and my confidence is at an all time high!!! I had my first visit here last week and it was such a great experience. Lauren was so welcoming and kind. She took the time to explain all the logistics behind fillers and what I could expect. I had a little faint scare from the needle but Lauren was quick to spring to action and to make me feel better and comfortable enough to get through the visit. A week later and I am very satisfied with my results. I will be coming back for any future filler needs. read more

I've been for several facials and and eyebrow tint/wax. I've been impressed since day one. I've had facials in big cities at high end spas all over the country and Elizabeth has nailed it for my skin. She tailors it to what I need and I love the results! I'm hooked and highly recommend! read more

I've been seeing Nurse Lauren for about 2 years now. She knows exactly what I want when she walks in the door and always asks to see if I'd like anything else or any concerns. Her staff is always super friendly and I've ventured out to a facial from Kimberly a few months ago and have plans for another this month. I couldn't recommend Modern Med enough. The compassion and professionalism is astounding. Nurse Lauren and her staff deserve an ovation. read more

Thoughtfully decorated, super clean, and each treatment room is very private. All of the staff are amazing, they can literally do all things modern beauty and healthy skin! This past Saturday I met with Kimberly for a Modern Med facial. I was hesitant about receiving my first peel because although I have oily skin in my Tzone my cheeks can be super sensitive. Kim reassured me and explained what she was using and why. The facial was amazing. I had super minor peeling from Sunday night to Monday morning. I am shocked at the significant reduction in redness in my cheeks. It's so minor now. Booked my May appt already. Ive been buying their Obagi hydrate moisturizer and Elta MD foaming cleanser since October and love it! If you have sensitive skin I recommend those! Kim, thank you! read more

Good service and clean place. Affordable prices. Would go back if I need to get fluids.

While I cannot speak to the review of any clinician, I write this review in reference to the face of the company: the front of house staff. I booked an appointment which I had to reschedule. So I cancelled online and booked a new appointment. While the appointment cancelled on my end, it did not cancel on their end....not my fault though. I never received a confirmation text or email. When I was called about missing my appointment, I was charged a $30 no show fee. While she said it could be put towards future treatments, her tone was bitchy and I was totally rubbed the wrong way. I cancelled future appointments and went back to Nayak. I feel discretion should always be used in situations like this one. read more

I can't say great enough things about this place - but their staff make it even better! I started seeing Nurse Lauren (owner of Modern Med) and she is excellent with her consultations and technical ability. I saw Nurse Lindsey when Lauren was training her and she's picked up some of the greatness Lauren displays. I've been seeing Lindsey ever since and I can say I don't think I'll ever see anyone else - at least outside of Modern Med. all of their injectors are knowledgeable, realistic with expectations on results, and straightforward in telling what you do/don't need. I've been turned away from services before since they deemed it wasn't needed or I wasn't ready for it. I now live in Chicago and make trips back to STL for services from them every 3-4 months. Their pricing is more than fair and they always advise when there are manufacturer or supplier specials to take advantage of to save more. I've only ever done Botox with them, but they're truly the best. If you decide to stop by, tell them Kelly Young sent you ;) read more

I have been into the office twice now once to see Elizabeth for an injection for my cystic acne and once to see Lindsay for a maskne facial my skin has already improved so much! I have been struggling for months with my acne and was feeling very defeated and embarrassed but these girls made me feel right at home and are helping me get my skin back! Thank you Modern Med! read more

I met Lauren and Lindsey for a consult back in May and it was so amazing they are both extremely knowledgeable!! I wanted something done and Lauren was very honest that she wouldn't do it because it was dangerous! Which I didn't know and was very happy she told me that! They also didn't make me feel like I need to do anything or I have to spend money with them! I have since come back and gotten my forehead done by Lindsey who is so fun, nice and gentle! I have also gotten my lips, chin , cheeks, and jawline done by Lauren! She's so sweet and is so good at keeping you calm! (Because I was very nervous both times!) If you are wanting to get anything done I CANNOT recommend them enough!!! read more

Lauren is not only amazing at what she does, but is so ethical, not to mention fun! She really takes the time to get to know her client, and assists them in making the right choice for what they need. She will even tell you if it's not necessary, and lose the opportunity to upsale or make more money to help the client achieve her "natural but noticeable" aesthetic. 100% would recommend read more

I recently went to Modern Med and it was everything I expected it to be: clean environment, relaxing space, and full of knowledgeable/professional workers. Lauren took the time to explain exactly what I needed and what the procedure consist of. Also, she had her two dogs there which made me feel more comfortable! (Dogs make everything better) Overall, going to Modern Med was the best decision I have made! read more
