My expectation was that the fee would only be applied after the consultation had occurred. Within a two week period I left multiple messages asking that someone call so that I could schedule the service. The last message that I left was to convey my frustration and that they better not put any charges on my credit card. They ended up charging my credit card $50 even though no appointment was ever made. Attempting to do business with this Beauty Marks Studio was a bad mistake.

I went in for a tiny tattoo (a Prince symbol) 2 months ago, and although the tattoo was beautiful…read moreand well done, the symbol was placed the wrong way, which, in my opinion, is my fault for not making sure it was correct, especially since I, and not Megan, was the one familiar with the symbol. Even though I approved the tattoo when Megan placed it on my skin, she still felt responsible for putting it on incorrectly and offered to correct it. She immediately did some type of tattoo removal process. I returned a month later for her to check the status of the lightening process. To be completely honest with you, the tattoo was still 100% visible, but she was pleased with the results and said to let the process finish and we'd re-do/cover the tattoo in another four weeks. I went in today, and again, the symbol tattoo is still very visible to me, but we proceeded with the cover up tattoo. It's a beautiful tattoo. I can still vaguely see the original tattoo, but I love it. The bottom line is that Megan is a great artist, manager, and person. I would say I don't think the tattoo removal/lightening system works very well, so just double check that everything is correct when it's placed and you'll have a beautiful tattoo (btw, the same day I had the symbol done, Megan did a beautiful silhoutte of a cat for me, which I ADORE!

I had to see an optometrist after seeing her. My eye was severely dilated, swollen and 30% of the cornea scratched. My eyeliner is not even on both eyes, (right side being thicker then the left) she tried to fix her mistake by trying to match my skin color which left me with pink color line under my eye. I tried to contact her through phone, text and certified mail, only to be ignored.

I went to someone who was in my price range a few years ago because I wAnTeD tHeM RiGhT NoW and was too impatient to save up more money. They didn't match each other and the color turned out dark purple, so I politely expressed my concerns with the original artist at my touch-up session. Unfortunately it still didn't go well, and I ended up with what you see in my "before" picture. Soon after that, I went to Frida Cosmetic Art to start the saline removal process. She had a daunting task ahead of her. It took 5 sessions due to how deep and thick the previous "artist" did it. Each removal session was reasonably priced and had impressive results. After that difficult experience, I decided I wanted to be a microblading artist myself. Perla Olave, the owner of Frida, provided in-depth training sessions and allowed me to shadow her a couple times. She is an amazing instructor, but I'm not ready to try microblading on a real person yet. As it turns out, it's way harder than it looks! Now, I truly appreciate the talent, skill, and dedication it takes to be a reputable artist. Last week, she did my microblading for the first time. She did a combo brow with nanoblading. This means that there are microblade strokes at the head and nanoblade for the rest of my eyebrow. We chose this because I barely have any eyebrow hair and she had to work over a few of the botched remnants that were too stubborn for the saline removal. After the 1st session, my brows look soooo much better than I ever thought possible! I literally cannot believe that this is my face when I catch a glance in the mirror. I'm excited for the "final product" after my 2nd session in a few weeks!!! I would 1000000% recommend Perla Olave of Frida Cosmetic Art for microblading to anyone who wants great eyebrows.

Never waited for longer than a few minutes basically enough to snap these pics (which they don't do the place justice). The aesthetic is just gorgeous in person. My initial appointment was for brow and lash tint but once I got in Kalie let me know with my hair color it wouldn't be much of a change. I highlight this because she could have just went along with it. Her decision once she listened to my needs to lead me in a more beneficial direction impressed me. She then shaped & brought my grown out quarantine brows back to life. She as well as her area were very inviting & calm so I scheduled a keratin lash lift with her next. This process I cannot recommend enough. It is exactly what I was looking for. I'm a week or two out and they are still gorgeous. I can't recommend her enough. Looking forward to visiting again

I've hesitated writing a review for a while now, and finally decided to…read more I bought the three laser package off of Groupon because a friend told me to try laser photo facials. I read some unfavorable reviews from Google but ultimately decided to take the plunge. I usually avoid med spa type places like this (not my first rodeo, I get botox regularly so it's not like I'm clueless in this space) but they're the only places that offer photo facials in our area. They obviously try to upsell, which is typical. I had a few dark acne spots from a breakout and wanted to get rid of them. The first two sessions were fine. Nothing special. I didn't notice any difference after them but I had already paid for three. The third time I had scheduled for an evening before vacation. They text me a couple days before to move the time up - which meant I would have to sit in traffic to get there but I was flexible for them. Not a big deal. For vacation, I was going to a cool area so I wasn't worried about it but the day of the appt our airline changed our layover through Hawaii for 48 hours. I immediately called and told them I wasn't comfortable getting laser right before being out in the sun. They insisted it was fine and I would have no repercussions. I emphasized my worry and told them I would just forfeit my last session so they would still get payment. They told me that with last minute cancellations they would also charge my credit card on file $50. I reiterated to them that I would just relinquish the last session and they were insistent on the charge. They promised I would be fine. I wore a hat, used sunscreen, etc but being pale and close to the equator, even though I didn't get sunburned, I came back with melasma all across my forehead which I've had a tiny spot for years but it never got bigger. This is now spread all over the upper half of my face. I did a bunch of research which shows that after laser treatment, it can cause that. I'm so disappointed and sad. They just want their money and don't really care about their patients.
