Great place to get nails done. I got the magenta color and love it so much. Love the service here! Very clean place.

I was very pleased with Tami and her patience. She was referred to me by my coworker and I'm so glad I went to her nail salon. This is the best experience I've had from a nail tech. She's very open and honest about the health of your nails and I needed that feedback because I was in need of a new set and didn't realize how damaged my actual nails were. All other nail salons I've attended only did a fill-in and never once told me that moisture was getting under my nails. They simply did the fill and took my money. That's not what happened today. Tami took the time to show me the potential damage that would've happened to my natural nails if I didn't get a new set. Thank you Tami. I highly recommend her. She was working alone when I went to her shop but everyone waited patiently and she let everyone know up front of the wait time.

Loved my nails!!! Definitely going back for the fancy designs. Tami and team made my Pinterest dreams come true.

Should have known when most workers had only micro bladed brows and now I feel like I need them or a pencil. Outer third is completely gone now. Super bummed and regret tipping the tech since we were crammed in a tiny room with another tech and customer and I couldn't see in the mirror with prints all over it.

He smokes between each client and does not wash his hands after smoking. He puts on a coat before going out for a smoke and takes off the jacket, but the smell is still pungent when he sits in front of me to do my nails. Towards the end of a gel color change, he starts to get hasty and the job gets sloppier. I've noticed this all 4 times I have had him now. In addition to this, the second time I came here, I asked what the prices were for each service. I wrote them down for future reference. Well... I have been keeping all 5 receipts and writing on the back what nail service I had done, just because I felt like there was an inconsistency in the pricing. And yesterday was the final proof. A prior visit on 10/22/18 had stated that I paid $23 for gel polish change hand ($15) + regular polish change toes ($8). Well yesterday, I was charged gel polish change hand ($18) + regular polish change toes ($8) = $26. I asked the cigarette guy "last time it was $23?" He responded that in October I asked for regular polish removal to gel polish change hand, whereas yesterday I went from removing gel polish to gel polish change on my hands. So there is a $3 difference between them taking off regular polish vs. gel polish. Had this been the case every time I visited, I would not have cared. But I went home and looked at all my receipts and his explanation was not consistent. Honestly, $3 is not the issue here. I am bothered by the inconsistency and how he talked crap about me to his co-worker sitting next to him for pointing out the price difference. What am I supposed to do? Bring my stack of receipts and point out that he's wrong? No, that would be petty. I think I will go back to this place one last time, request for the female who did my nails during my first visit, and see if the non-cigarette fingers touching me will make the experience better. As for the actual nails... he never does a great job. It's always ok. Again, he gets jittery towards the end of doing your nails because he needs to go smoke and there's always sections of my nail that's not painted on the sides of my fingers. Yesterday he somehow coated my nails with gel so that when cured, my nails were pointy and sharp. When I pointed out that my nails were all sharp and felt like sandpaper, he just filed them down -_- lol At this point I was just ready to leave so I stayed silent and let him pretend to fix my nails. This place is cheap, but I'm starting to see that the quality varies with who you get and the prices seem to change too...

It was easy to find and I liked the vibe of the building they are located in. They helped me fix my broken pinky nail quickly and easily. I was wearing a cat eye polish not easy to match so they helped me match both pinky nails in a tone that goes with the cat eye. They also have some fun bath bombs and other items to purchase. I bought a gummy bear shaped bath bomb that I haven't tried yet but looking forward to using it! When I am in the area again, I would go back for a nail fill & pedi to get the full experience! Thanks ladies for helping me out!

However, if you don't get one of the two owners, it's really a toss up of what type of service you'll get. I went today and it felt as if someone's younger sister showed up to do nails. There is absolutely no way she went through any sort of formal training or certification. She was pulling on my cuticles and I've never seen someone so awkward with a nail file, which she didn't really do. She didn't ask what shape or really any questions. She was so sweet, but just clearly didn't know what she was doing. You can tell in the pictures of how unevenly the polish was applied. It's cute inside and I feel bad leaving a mid review, but nails are expensive and a want not a need, so it's a huge letdown when the service isn't great quality. These really look like when I do them myself and I'm bad at doing nails.

It's so important such that I had put off getting my brows threaded (something I used to do ~monthly) since moving here many months ago. Anything less than perfect ratings was not a ringing endorsement for me, so I kept toughing it out until I found myself back in California. Unfortunately, they had grown a bit out of control and I redid my research out of desperation. Not sure why it didn't pop up for me before, but Glow Studio was a diamond in the rough. It had perfect reviews and they seemed like they knew what they were doing. I can, in fact, now confirm that Emily is an absolute goddess and my brows are saved. I got my brows and upper lip waxed for $35, which is pretty standard pricing. The studio is super cute and clean, and it was such a well-cultivated space that I felt relaxed just being there. The process was seamless, and I felt comfortable with Emily doing what she felt was best for my brows. They came out perfectly -- there was clearly cleaning that was done, they're not thin, and the length was maintained. The waxing process took 10-15 minutes and was not painful. I feel the need to talk about Emily, too. First off, she's got the best vibes and is so easy to talk to. She truly knows what she's doing and has your best interest at heart (she will not let you ruin your brows over some ephemeral trend, girlfriend). She thoroughly walks you through the process and explains the whys of things to you (e.g. why you need to avoid retinol and AHAs leading up to a wax sesh). She is so knowledgeable and confident that it's impossible to not trust her. She's so careful and good at what she does, and I can't imagine going anywhere else in this city. I booked online a few days in advance, and it was a straightforward process. You put in a request for when you'd like to come in and then it gets confirmed. Emily personally texted me the morning of with clear instructions on how to get there and was accommodating to me running a few minutes late. There are plenty of other services available, and I'm beyond excited to come back for a facial and more. Cannot recommend Glow Studio enough; am super grateful to Emily for making my entire day, honestly.

Today was my second time visiting. The first time I went I got a lash lift and today I got a facial and another lash lift (which usually lasts 1month and a half for me). Emily is really friendly and attentive to your needs. She was nice enough to give me cleanser and sunscreen samples. My face is feeling softer and moisturized than ever and I will definitely, definitely go back. The only downside is the studio itself is pretty hard to navigate/enter. Make sure to literally use the other door--left door. I kinda struggled and thought there was another entrace and I felt like an idiot. Use the key pad thingy to let them open the door and glow studios is on the third floor.
