I'm very particular when it comes to shaping and filing as I only get my natural nails done with acrylic or dip. I'm not into nail designs, so coffin shaping is basic; however she became upset when I pointed out my nail was not shaped correctly. The PEDICURES are also RUSHED and they do a horrible job on scrubbing your heels and feet. This place is Not relaxing, Warm or welcoming and for the prices; BASIC skills shouldn't be an issue. It was very quiet and had nature sounds music and a tv with cherry blossoms floating on the screen, which was really nice. The pedicure was very relaxing and the polish turned out beautifully. I got to the manicure and the polish was a solid 2mm from my cuticles on all fingers, so it looked like it had grown out for a couple weeks right after having gotten it done. The sides of my nails weren't completely covered, and it just wasn't great. I tried to let it go, but then the polish chipped within four days. I reached out and they said they could fix the chips, and I also mentioned the gaps in an email. I came in and they were very sweet about redoing it. The person asked what color I wanted, and I had said the same color that I got before. They asked if I remembered the number and I didn't, so they brought the colors over and I was trying to look through and didn't see it. I was trying to match and kind of felt like I was left alone to try and find it again instead of getting involved help to match. I really couldn't find it and was getting nervous, so I saw one that I thought looked similar and chose that one. (It was not as close as I had thought because the light wasn't quite on it; I had thought it was more brown than it turned out to be.) Got them finished, it was a lot better than before. That was the 12th. I have a quality assurance job that has me using a lot of pressure with my hands to check products, and the gel polish has chipped again already. The only thing is that I've done my own nails before while doing the same quality assurance job and my polish lasted for a few weeks before chipping. It wasn't a bad experience, but I wouldn't come back.

My pedicure was okay, but I wish they had told me they were not capable of doing a dip manicure with French tips properly or I never would've gone They ended up painting my tips which chipped away in two days, I wasted three hours, and it cost me $100 plus added tip. The place is dirty, and the owner is trying to manage too many things at once. While doing my manicure, she got up at least five times and left me to go work on another client. Then she would come back without washing her hands after touching another clients feet, and start working on my hands again. Never again.

The other thing that stood out to me was the nail dust. After the pedicure, I found myself covered in nail dust. I know that nail dust is obviously something to be expected. I just would've preferred the courtesy to have a towel or something to clean myself off. Also at the end of the pedicure I wasn't handed my shoes so I had to step out of the chair onto the bare floor to retrieve them. Granted the floor was clean, but still... Overall, I think that this salon has the potential to be something pretty amazing. as its modern look, quality of the results, and talented staff will continue to bring people in. I just think that a few tweaks as it relates to the customer experience should be taken into consideration.
