I will preface this with the fact that it is somewhat hard for me to voice my opinions on things or let interactions be uncomfortable. My husband gifted me a gel manicure and pedicure here. It was very quiet and had nature sounds music and a tv with cherry blossoms floating on the screen, which was really nice. The pedicure was very relaxing and the polish turned out beautifully. I got to the manicure and the polish was a solid 2mm from my cuticles on all fingers, so it looked like it had grown out for a couple weeks right after having gotten it done. The sides of my nails weren't completely covered, and it just wasn't great. I tried to let it go, but then the polish chipped within four days. I reached out and they said they could fix the chips, and I also mentioned the gaps in an email. I came in and they were very sweet about redoing it. The person asked what color I wanted, and I had said the same color that I got before. They asked if I remembered the number and I didn't, so they brought the colors over and I was trying to look through and didn't see it. I was trying to match and kind of felt like I was left alone to try and find it again instead of getting involved help to match. I really couldn't find it and was getting nervous, so I saw one that I thought looked similar and chose that one. (It was not as close as I had thought because the light wasn't quite on it; I had thought it was more brown than it turned out to be.) Got them finished, it was a lot better than before. That was the 12th. I have a quality assurance job that has me using a lot of pressure with my hands to check products, and the gel polish has chipped again already. The only thing is that I've done my own nails before while doing the same quality assurance job and my polish lasted for a few weeks before chipping. It wasn't a bad experience, but I wouldn't come back. read more

osted a review 2 days ago. It was deleted. Owner unresponsive after 3 days of reaching out. Owner has not been there when I call or message on FB. I was overcharged. Did you know you pay an additional $6.13 to cut & shape your nails when you ask for GEL X? Have paid $45 consistently for this service. The cost was $51.06 PLUS $6.13. This was my 96 th visit to this salon. I have been a client for 8 years. In less than 2 years, there have been 3 owners. NO Thanks! DO NOT PATRONIZE! read more

I've been going to this nail salon for a number of years. I usually buy a basic manicure and pedicure, sometimes a deluxe. Usually with polish. When the original owner had the salon, I was always very pleased with the treatment, the way the staff interacted with clients and the quality of the service. The salon has changed hands at least once or twice since the original owner had a baby and sold it. I read on Google that a lot of people are pleased with the remodel, the new ownership. Initially, after the service for me was still top-notch. During the last year, it has gone downhill. There's an air of it not being as clean, the floor and furniture not as clean or the salon just not as well cared for. The staff is not as friendly or welcoming as they used to be. There's constant speaking in a different language, very little eye contact or interaction with clients. And all the familiar friendly nail technicians have left. Even more disturbing, the last three times I've been there I've been injured. Just in small ways, but my skin cut, the electric file tearing my cuticles, really rough handling and digging, painful cleaning and trimming of my nails. I have flinched quite a few times and they don't react or apologize. To me this is lack of supervision and training. Honestly, sometimes I think it has to do with the fact that I don't get the expensive manicures, the gels, etc. I like to have my nails done well and then buffed, oiled and shined . They don't seem to value that. So after the last three visits, I won't be going back to Sole Lounge. Which is unfortunate because I live in the area and this is convenient. I hope you have better experiences there than I have lately. read more

A few things to note: you check in on an iPad and then are given a ticket. You keep that ticket with you and take it back up to "checkout". A lady lost her ticket while getting a pedicure and it seemed to be a big deal? A bit strange. Also while checking out, tax is added, which I've never seen at a salon before. My dip manicure was $45, but added tip- making my total almost $47. Not a big deal, but not something I've seen before. Lastly, the manicurist spoke no English. I was given a photo option to choose the shape of my nail & length. The tech that did my nails was good, but did cut my cuticles/ skin on a few fingers. My manicure took over an hour, which was a bit slow from my past experiences. Overall it was a fine manicure, I'd go back if needed in a pinch. read more

Went in for a pedicure and picked the express because I had a hair appointment down the road at 5. The nail tech tried selling me other pedicures and I kept saying no thanks just express. I went in at 4 and at 4:35 the nail technician took all my polish off and said it was no good and restarted- this made me late to my appointment! No other customers were in the store and I still waited about 5 minutes to be seated. It was clean and nice but I'm very disappointed by the service. read more

Went in for an appointment at 1. I checked in in the tablet when I arrived. I stood there for 15 mins before anyone even acknowledged me. There was one nail tech dining nails and she never even looked up. After 15 mins someone came from the back and told me to sign in. I told her I already did. 5 mins later someone came up and told me to sign in. Th nail tech ripped at my cuticles and nails instead of cutting them, which was unpleasant. The entire experience was completely impersonal. Not sure how they will stay in business with only 2 customers per hour and not at all grateful for my business. read more

Walked in for a gel pedicure, picked the Milk & Honey which is $75. The water wouldn't get hot which should've been my first sign, but they seemed to be puzzled by it so I allowed them time to figure out the issue. They brought water up in an electric tea kettle to warm the cold water in my bowl, then the line went hot. Never emptied the cold water. The 3 employees yelled at each other the entire time I was there, including at another guest who was confused why she was charged $30 extra dollars on her $40 fill-in. The "therapeutic massage" was just rubbing the top layer of my skin aggressively. I asked for short and square, I got angled and round. At this point I'd been there for an hour and 20 minutes and just wanted to leave. Total came out to $103... $28 extra for gel polish is insane. Whatever, I paid it and vowed to just not return. However, I woke up today with itchy legs and find these bumps all over the front of both of my legs. $115 to get a bacterial infection (per the urgent care) and my nails are still crooked. 0/10 would not recommend this salon. read more

The location is perfect! They did a nice job on my friend's toes, but I think it depends on who you get. I don't like the way the pedicure chairs are set-up--had to turn the entire time in order to talk to someone next to me. Not conducive to a duo or group of friends wanting to get pedi's together at all. The place seems clean and totally fine inside. I will say the lady that did my toes was not thorough and I had to ask her to do another coat because it was uneven and missed half of my pinky toe. Later, I got home and realized I had some of my old polish on two toes and my heels weren't smooth at all. Most basic pedi I've had in a long time and I got the $40 one... basically was a scrub, quick rub, hot towel and polish change poorly done. Bummed but thankful I got it done in the winter, because this would not be okay in the summer. read more

We have come to this nail shop for sometime, but unfortunately, after the change in management, it has not been good. Last time I was in to get my nails done I got Jake. He did a bad job and he had his phone on speaker the whole time he did my nails. He was talking on a personal phone call the whole time. The conversation wasn't in English, so thank goodness I didn't have to be privy to his personal conversation, but he paid absolutely no attention to his customer. He also did the bare minimum. Normally, they'll trim around my nails and push my cuticles back and moisturize my hands after doing my dip manicure. He did none of that. I had to ask for a moisturizer afterwards. He handed me a tube of moisturizer that I put on myself. Being that this was not the normal service I get there, I came back today but I booked with Tina. Tina is excellent and always has been. I was the only one in there with Tina, and Jake was at the front counter. Once again, he was on a personal phone call and he had it on speakerphone the whole time. There was no music on. The TVs weren't on. I got to listen to Jake's personal phone call the whole time I was getting my nails done. Tina is deaf so she was not aware that there was no music and the televisions weren't on because her back was to the TVs. It was not a pleasant experience because of Jake. Tina did a great job on my nails. She did the trimming. She pushed back my cuticles and moisturize my hands with oil afterwards. When I went up to the counter to pay, I politely told Jake that it was very unpleasant to listen to him on the speaker phone the whole time I was there with no music or television. All he did was laugh. I told him it wasn't funny and I was trying to give him some good advice. He was totally unconcerned. I thought everyone knew it's impolite to have your phone on speaker in public. I would think this would be especially so around your customers when you're running a business. A salon is supposed to be a relaxing place to be and normally this one is. They have nice music, relaxing content on the TVs. Instead, Jake seems to think he's the entertainment and could not care less about the experience of his customers. Tina should get 5 stars. Jake should get zero. Unfortunately, my husband and I will not be coming back. read more

Small little salon hidden in the between a street I wanted to make a reservation before but they were busy and I understand why now. Few chairs for the manicure station and a couple of pedicure chairs. Didn't have much options to work with very little selection of polish and dips but found a cute color that I liked. Was welcomed very friendly lady that did my set, the dogs were a bit much wasn't really relaxing not sure if they're always in the salon but some people like my mother are scared and it wasn't as comfortable for her but she stuck through it. My nail tech did a good job but too much filing I never had my nails filed as much my finger started cramping but I let her do her job. My mother got a pedicure and she was satisfied! The salon wasn't as clean as it should of been I think they could work on that. read more

I haven't been to Sole Lounge Day Spa in years and decided to come here for a pedicure. I think I've found my new go to. Cassie was amazing. I walked in with ingrown toenails and walked out with beautiful feet. Cassie was gentle, careful, and regularly checked in on me to make sure I was ok while she worked on me. Went for mani/pedi with a friend. Strong upsell from one of the technicians. That took away from the relaxation we were trying to enjoy. Friend had a gel with tips that took soooo long! They looked good, but took 2 hours. Not sure why it was so long. Technician at the register pushed for cash tips and made me divide it between the three workers instead of figuring it out internally. I had to ask her the cost of the services each provided, add them up and then figure each tip amount. I would have preferred to just pay a percent across the board. While I was doing the math she hinted she should get more than the others. Probably will not return. read more

Incredible service and beautiful nails! I was worried that a nail salon couldn't recreate my reference picture but I was so pleasantly surprised! Megan was the kindest lady and loved taking on the challenge of the nails I requested- and did a fantastic job! She loved to chit chat and just made everyone feel welcome and appreciated. It was a quiet and comfortable space without a bunch of loud tvs (unlike other salons) and I appreciated that so much - as it made the ambiance much much better. They also didn't try to rush you out unlike other salons - Megan took her time and made the experience wonderful! The other employees are wonderful as well - laughing and talking with every customer. Overall I don't have a bad thing to say about the place - they're incredible! read more

Absolutely horrible. I got a dip manicure and my cuticles were shredded. The lady noticed my pinky nail bleeding and just dabbed at it half-heartedly with a towel and then proceeded to continue mangle my cuticles. The next few days it stung to get them wet. They were so busy that the lady originally doing my nails stopped and then went to do someone else's pedicure. I sat there for awhile before a second girl came over to hurriedly finish them. Every so often she would pick up the company's phone to get appointments while still finishing my manicure, and as a result I got an uneven and bumpy coat. After shredding my cuticles I couldn't even get a halfway decent coat! I will never go back and strongly recommend you STAY AWAY from this place. read more

I really enjoyed my mani pedi they were very thorough. My dad however did not like his he had hang nails still when he left. I guess it depends on the person you get. I made an appointment ahead of time to get my nails done with Michelle. Upon arrival I was greeted upon entering the store and informed to pick my color and if I needed a drink wine or water. So customer service wise, they get an A+. But when it comes to my nails they get a "substandard recommendation" hence the 1 rating. 1. Michele did not do my nails -The person who did my regular pedicure did an awful job, my cuticles where not cut properly, the old polish was not taken off fully. But the worst part was when she painted my nails it was "messy looking" when I told her about it, she did nothing to fill it. 2. The second person who was doing my fingernails noticed that i pulled out my phone to take a pic of how awful the polish on my toes were and decided to help fix it. But the polish was already dried on. She tried... I will let the picture speak for itself. There was simply no attention paid to details. Thank you read more

Not sure how this place even got a 4 star rating. Maybe we just went on a bad day. It was our first time in and will be our last. My daughter and I wanted to try a different place from our usual nail salon. I'm guessing it was the owner who did my daughters nails.. she wasn't very friendly. She seemed to get annoyed if a customer didn't understand what the technician was saying. She violently ripped my daughters old acrylic nails off causing some damage to her nail bed. My daughter wanted to cry it hurt so bad. We should have left at that moment. The woman who did my dip was ok. Nothing special about it. Sorry we cheated on our usual salon. It won't happen again. Follow up on my dipped nails. I went on a Friday.. by Wednesday 5 of them broke. I removed them myself! read more

Very happy with my first dip powder manicure! I came in as a walk-in, after looking for nail salons here on Yelp. They weren't too busy, but only had a limited amount of nail techs, so I was told (by the owner) to come back in 30 minutes and they'd help me out. After a quick trip to Starbucks, I came back in and was seated immediately. I got to look through a ton of colors but knew I wanted a blush color. The nail tech was finishing up with a client but attended to me right after. The process was quick (maybe 35-40 minutes) which was great since I was on a time restraint. I am very pleased with how my nails turned out. It has the look of a nice gel or acrylic without the harsh chemicals or long process. I will only get dip powder nails from now on! Thanks ladies for such an awesome experience and stylish nails! read more
