This was the first time I've ever worked with movers so I kept my ask to a minimum. We packed all our items and only had the crew take any large pieces of furniture from a 6th floor apartment unit with elevator to a 3rd floor condo with no elevator. They charge per hour, based on the how long the move actually takes, not the predicted time. This includes travel time but they started/ended all within Ballard which helped save on time. I communicated everything with Lauren Farrar and she responded quickly with detailed info. She suggested I provide photos to help the crew understand the spaces they'd be working with. We're so grateful for how smooth everything went and how respectful the entire team was given the crazy weather. Would highly recommend Seattle Moves & More for your moving needs!

Due to life hitting me like a bunch of bricks I wasn't able to be fully packed like I usually am, so I sprung for the full service move and they handled my items and possessions as if they were their own. They packed my old apartment quickly and efficiently, at our new place they dropped boxes in the correct rooms, asked for guidance on some furniture and even set up our beds and labeled certain boxes to be opened first (for things that you'd need quickly, like food in the kitchen, or personal items for the bathrooms). While I hope not to need their service for a while because I'm in love with my new place, if and when we need to move again we will always reach out to them first! At the destination, the team protected all flooring to prevent tracking dirt and left the space spotless. They also removed and hauled away all moving boxes and pads, which was greatly appreciated. Took the cords out of every electronic device, so I wouldn't actually not be able to actually use them. 2. I cannot use my computer, the printer (I had to buy a new one) there are no cords to plug in my electronics.the guys took 3. They went through all of things and mixed them all up, so I couldn't find anything or really unpack and put my stuff somewhere. 4. They stole 2 boxes of a narcotics from me.(prescribed) 5.They opened a box that was supposed to be sent to my ex jerk boyfriend. They took out the letter I wrote to this guy along with the piece of paper from Something else- with my address on it. And taped it to a different box. They tried to make it look like the actual box was not touched. Then I guess they thought they would have some gotcha moment.. haha Sarah we got you! 6. They pissed on my things!!! So this along with throwing my things into boxes, not using my boxes, the third guy didn't even stay to move my things into my new place. Where he went I have no idea. But Louis charged me for it anyway. it took them 8 hours! It's a 4 hour move. They spent the time making sure I would have the worst move ever, can't plug anything in, they pissed on my things of mine, putting things that were in one place- mixed them all up, so there is no way I can organize them at my new place. I am still learning about what they did to me and my things. Plus I gave them a $600 tip. They went through and read all of my personal papers, letters, everything. Then made sure all of them were in 500 different boxes. They did not use the things I bought to pack my things in. So they charged me $9 per box.
