No customer service. I have called the office 3 times, spoke to the manager 2 times, and still have not been able to make an appointment or even get a quote. The manager promised someone would call me today to schedule. Still nothing. read more

We have used Air Masters in the past for maintenance and repair of our split air A/C and each time have been very happy with their expertise and service. But we recently also used them to relocate our outside compressor unit onto the lanai. It involved some construction to reconfigure the placement. Their crew did a great job...they were careful, efficient, safe, quick, and cleaned-up. Sherman, Keith, Rex, Kelly and all the staff have been professional, fair and pleasant to work with. Without any hesitation I would highly recommend Air Masters! read more

They were very quick to install the unit, but very slow when a repair was needed shortly after the installation. I let them know that I could accommodate a repair at *any* time, on *any* day, and still, all they could offer was an appointment 2 weeks away. In Hawaii's summer heat that's swelteringly bad news! Be forewarned that while "warranty" does mean they'll fix your unit, they will not guarantee any length of time in which this promise is to be fulfilled, nor will they approve or cover the expense of another repair person. So...you will be forced to wait and melt in the sauna you call 'home'. I think the company is probably very skilled at what they do, however, they need to find a way to do what they do a little faster. If that means hiring an additional employee or having an on call contracted employee, that's what needs to happen. read more

Thank you Dominic and Gerald for installing my new split ac! Terrific job! Shout out to Lena for setting this up as soon as you could!

If everyone I relied on could be awesome as Malcom and the team over at Air Masters. They were ahead of the game 100% of the way. Professional to the max, backed up with EXELLENT customer service with solid results. I would not hesitate to call them if I ever needed another split AC uni install or repair. Great job in setting the standard guys! read more

They were easy to get a hold of to service our heat pump. They came out and tried to perform a function test on our unit but could not figure out how to use it. They happily took our $218 dollars and told us to call if anything isn't working properly. The next day it stopped blowing warm air and so we gave them a call. They agreed to do some research to try to figure out our "obscure" brand of heat pump. They have not gotten back to us on this even after 3 more attempts at calling them and getting the same response. I would think people that are calling themselves air masters would be able to figure out a system that operates the same no matter the brand. It has been 6 weeks since we called them after the initial service. The service guy was nice but their followup is lacking. read more

I recommend Air Masters to anyone. Owner Sherman Louie fulfilled all his promises and his price was very favorable compared to other estimators. His crew was professional, courteous, and even volunteered to work on Sunday which saved us from enduring a couple of months of terrible temperatures. Thank you, Air Masters and Sherman. Brian F. from Mililani. read more

I'm currently having difficulties with Air Masters to immediately address problems that occurred after servicing by your technician. I spent a lot of money on maintenance and had to call another company to fix the problem. We have purchased 4 split systems throughout the years and sadly, we hope this problem can be resolved before any other system has issues. Sherman, I wish you were there so I could have spoken to you. read more

What more can I say...Sherman and Da Crew once again came through when it mattered. Had to replace an 18000 BTU unit in the living area when the thing conked out on us. Clean installation, good price, and wonderful follow up. read more

Not honest - came out for service said everything was great. 2 weeks later unit stopped working. They came out again and said there are no issues and charge me another $100. This is not my 1st poor experience with them. I highly recommend not to use them read more

Dominic and Gerald installed my split AC today and did a fantastic job. They were on time and very pleasant and professional from start to finish. They were also very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. Before they left they went over the controls and showed me its features. They also cleaned up very well. Thank you Lena for setting up the schedule and following up after the install. I am very happy that I went with my friend's recommendation on Air Masters. read more

Had my air conditioners serviced by Dylan. At first I was a little taken back because he was a young guy. But...he did an excellent job! Took apart and cleaned 3 of my air conditioners (filters were dirty!). Did job quickly considering what he had to do. Air condition is running good and it feels like clean air coming out of system again! Good job Dylan and Mahalo Air Masters for being a part of our community! read more

Air Masters installed my central a/c unit two years ago. It's been working great almost 24/7 since then. Malcolm always answers my calls promptly so I don't know what all the hype is about. First of all, servicing your air conditioning unit is mandatory at least once a year. This keeps the refrigerant checked, hoses cleaned and unit working up to par. You can't expect a company like this to respond immediately! Prevention here is the key. Since my unit runs almost 24/7, I do the Premium Maintenance twice a year, which involved completely disassembling the unit, taking it outside to be disinfected and cleaned and lubed. My hoses are checked and blown out so there is no blistering in the ceiling from leakage. You cannot expect your central a/c unit to run without a proper annual cleaning. Air Master's premium service runs about $300 plus tax, the regular maintenance about $150 plus tax. Mark came by yesterday and did the job and it's running cooler than before. With this heat, don't chance not getting your a/c system serviced, if it doesn't work right, it may be your fault for not getting it maintained properly. For all the complainers out here, if you didn't service it right, don't complain. read more

They installed our homes central air and split AC's in our bedrooms. We still use them routinely for maintenance. All of the their staff has been very professional and accommodating. I've never had a problem with them. I highly recommend them for installations and maintenance! read more

Highly recommend Air Masters for initial installation of split unit AND annual servicing of all split units. They have come for several years in a row now to do annual cleaning on a unit we had installed a little over 20 years ago by another company. We had a new unit in another room of the house installed in Dec. 2020 and we are ready for what the summer months bring to HI islands! If you are in need of air con. do NOT wait until it starts to get hot in HI to install. If you have an Association (Homeowners) to obtain approval from, start the process NOW before the summer heat comes. Keith and all the office staff are super awesome with providing info on what is needed with the Association "stuff," waiting, scheduling, listening to you about what your needs of your house are. AND awesome with finishing the installation process. Do your homework too. Check out on the RICO, DCCA website or call them and you will find Air Masters has ALL the requirements up to date to do business in HI. THANK YOU AIR MASTERS! read more

Air masters has amazing customer service! It was such a pleasure to work then from sales rep to technicians and back to customer service. They responded very quickly whenever we had questions about anything. We searched around and no one could beat their prices on the split a/c units we bought. Others were as much $7000 more. You can stop looking because you've found your a/c place. read more

I purchased my home in Dec 2017 and in Feb 2018 I replaced the split unit in my master bedroom that did not work when the home was purchased. Air Masters guys came out and quickly and efficiently replaced the unit. It blows very cold air and quickly cools the room for us. They were able to answer our questions, had a great warranty and followed up to be sure we were satisfied! We appreciate it! read more

Our A/Cs from Air Masters are all working great. We have no issues with their service, workmanship, product, efficiency, or timeliness. They do a great job all the time. We are very happy customers. read more

Airmasters serviced my split a/c. Keith was professional and stayed on top of everything, loretto did the service and did an outstanding job, even washed the filters with the hose outside! They were recommended to me by another a/c company and I highly recommend them to all! read more

Back in August of this year, my split level unit, initially installed my Air Masters, was leaking water out of the air vent down onto my desk. I called AM for service and Kevin came out and performed a thorough cleaning and service of the unit. Now it runs like a top and keeps my house plenty cool even on the hottest days. I Highly Recommend Air Masters. read more

Thank you Air Masters for doing a great job cleaning our split system units! Your specialists were professional and dependable. Keith Kaneshiro suggested the Hawaii Energy Program rebate for maintenance. Many thanks! read more

I contracted Air Masters to replace my 2 Fujitsu with Mitsubishi units. The entire process went very smoothly, from Keith's initial visit for cost estimate to installation to follow-up. Keith and the 2 installers, Brad & Gerald, ensured that pipe connections were "solid" so no leaks and did not block access to garage ceiling (result of sloppy or uncaring work by the previous contractor). Brad and Gerald are nice guys who did an excellent job, particularly with routing of pipes in garage ceiling. They were respectful, professional, efficient and cleaned up when pau. Very happy with them, Keith and Air Masters. read more

RR: today Loreto did a major cleaning on two split units. Fast, neat and friendly (expensive as expected but hadn't been done in many years). Steward give him a pat on the back ...debby in Kaneohe told me to say that! read more

Just had two ac units serviced by AirMasters. To schedule the appointment, I checked their website (which has the pricing info and the explanation of basic versus premium maintenance) and filled in the required info for the service appointment. One or two days later, their office staff called to schedule. Appointment was originally scheduled for next week, but they called this morning and said they had an opening for this afternoon. The two technicians were quick, efficient and neat. They did not have to run the garden hose thru a window like another company I had called several years ago. Instead, the AirMasters technicians carried a section of the wall units outside for cleaning. I got the premium service since the units hadn't been serviced for several years. It's definitely worth it. Plus I didn't know but there's a $75/unit rebate from Hawaii Energy for ac maintenance right now. So they're deducting it from my bill. I'm very pleased with AirMasters and will be calling them again next year for annual maintenance. read more

Not only was the price awesome, but the installation was awesome as well. The units look great! Rex and his team did an awesome job of designing and installing our system. Due to their competitive pricing, we were able to afford to install units in the entire house. I highly recommend them! read more

Airmasters did our initial installation of three units and yearly service. This year they require from all a $125 cancellation deposit to schedule annual preventive maintenance. This is excessive and shows distrust to valued customers. Good thing, lots of competition in the AC business and we found someone better, faster, and cheaper. read more

If there was a zero stars, I would click it. Terrible service. You call them for service? They don't service. They look, then charge. You want them to fix? They don't fix. They look, and leave. I don't yelp a lot, but this one had to have been done. read more

This business has gone downhill real bad. They used to call every year to schedule a service on our a/c. They quit calling so I called them and left a voicemail. Did not receive a call back so after two weeks I called them. They are now three weeks backed up and want a credit card number just to book an air conditioner service on a piece of equipment that they initially installed. Will be looking elsewhere for my upcoming air conditioner needs!!! read more

We had two Fujitsu air conditioner units installed today. Rex and Jamy showed up on time and did a great job. They asked questions along the way to make sure the units were placed exactly where I wanted them. They were very professional and easy to work with. read more

If I could give them zero I would. Made several calls to try and schedule an appointment since they were set to service my neighbors unit and hoped to schedule them back to back to save the company a drive out. Never returned call, when they were next door I asked my neighbor to have them stop by before leaving. That didn't happen either. Now after seeing the reviews on Yelp I am glad they didn't. read more

I have been a customer of Airmasters for over 16 years and have been totally satisfied the entire time. I recently had my air conditioning units replace after getting over 16 years ofend use from the units Airmasters installed in 2002. I have had the maintenance agreement the entire time and my units are serviced every 6 months. I have always had very prompt and professional service from Airmasters and have recommended them to friends. During installation and maintenance, they have always taken great care to ensure that all work was accomplished in a very clean and neat manner. For the original installation Airmasters worked with our HOA board to ensure that all requirements were met. I was the first unit to have this type of air conditioning installed and had to proved detailed plans for approval. Airmasters was very helpful in providing information to obtain this approval. I highly recommend Airmasters and feel very confident with being a customer of theirs in the future. Mahalo to Sherman and his employees for a job well done. It's a pleasure doing business with a professional. read more

I just got my split unit replaced by Air Masters and could not be happier. Sherman and his crew were terrific from start to finish. We got a great deal on the units and were treated with professionalism and great customer service. The guys that did the installation were polite and made a point to clean up after themselves. Also when they had a concern about possibly having to cut my wall, they called Sherman who immediately came over and advised them on an alternate way of doing it that didn't require any cutting and saved me a ton of money on drywall repairs. Sherman is down to earth and easy to talk to. He is also incredibly knowledgable and his prices are more than fair. He has installed AC units for both my mom and my sister and all three of us could not be happier. I can see why they are in such demand. Sherman and his crew rock and I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family. read more

Office staff were always courteous, helpful, prompt in responding. They scheduled our installation quickly, did the job efficiently (the estimator even pitched in so the work crew could finish earlier than we anticipated), everything looked good and worked well over the weekend. Their charge was reasonable, compared to other estimates we received, and we were happy to pay for a job well done. read more

Absolutely horrible. The most recent tech we dealt with lied about showing up for a service call. Appointment was for 115 but he doesn't show. Make a bunch of calls to his boss and he tells his boss he was there at 12 and called my phone. Horse shit! To make things worse the boss (Malcolm) accuses me of lying saying I missed the appointment. read more

If there was an option for zero stars, that would be more accurate. These guys may be great at selling you and installing new equipment for you but they are very bad at after sale service. They are unreliable, don't show up as promised and really don't care to have your business after the sale. Sorry to say, I would never use them - with all the other companies to choose from, you would be better off with anyone else! read more

These guys installed my Carrier 1/2 ton unit about 8 years ago. Recently it stopped blowing cold air so I called them. They wanted $115 just to come look at it. I did not know better so agreed. I had to pay this twice as I missed the 1st appointment due to being on the phone and not able to answer the call. Then came the shocker estimate. I called another company (Pristine Air Hawaii) and the owner came and gave a very fair estimate for free, explained the fix needed and included the controller replacement at no extra cost. He came back in a few days and finished the job with no issues. What a difference. I could not even get the owner of AirMater to come to the phone to explain the estimate, even though he installed the unit. Customer service and concern is near non-existent. They made you feel it is your privilege to have them even come to look at your problem. Be prepared to pay, pay and pay. Stay away! read more
