You have typically been great but today I called (4/23/26) and the woman who answered said she was closing in 10 min. I said I was on my way and going to try and make it. I called at 6:20. I got here at 6:26. She had already locked the doors and wouldn't come let me in. I only had package drop offs, didn't even need her to do any actual work. Not cool. I understand wanting to close on time but if a customer calls and says they're on their way and you close early - Not cool. I also called at 6:27 from outside and no one answered the phone. Terrible service. I went in to try to get passport pictures done for my 10 month old and they just didn't want to deal with taking pictures of a baby. They said, "take them at home and then send them to us to print." So I do half the work and pay the full price. This is the third place I went to to try to get pictures done and no one wants to deal with babies although this is my 4th child taking passport pics as a baby and I've never encountered this issue before today. I went to the Mail Center today to renew my passport. Amanda was so extremely helpful, I was a little nervous about all of the steps and paperwork that was needed. AIMED AND MISSED. Needed to drop a FEDEX package here and requested earliest next day delivery. The woman flippantly replied "it doesn't make a difference" After 10 minutes of haggling, she finally agreed there was a 10:30 option. We went with that and paid $80. The package arrived 4 hours late. When I called, the woman wouldn't even take the tracking number to check it. She said it was my problem and FEDEX's problem. Then, she let me know there was actually an 8:30a option but the prior day denied such a delivery option existed. These folks are out to lunch and could care less about customer service. I honestly would not be anywhere near alive as I am today if it wasn't for the talented professional KIND PATIENT family here. My 28 year old Mira Costa Son passed away a couple months ago. I was like a zombie coming in here w documents I had to complete alone and this selfless caring team helped me get through the most tragic time of anyone Mother's life. I can barely remember walking in there multiple times after his death with so many tasked and every single employee took heart to complete the task. I pray until this day they know how thankful I am. Just an update I shipped a similar package to the same address at a Fedex location. They did not round up the weight or add any surcharge. The owner was right about them increasing the dimensions. Either way this business was not honest and I could have had saved money had I shipped ground . Why pay for 3 day fedex express shipping when it will usually get there in 3 days with ground. I wish I would've read reviews before going to this AIM Mail & Print Center because I now see several reviews about the unnecessarily rude customer service at this location. I went in today because I needed to return a dress to an international destination. I barely walked in the door before being rudely told it would cost a fortune to send the dress and I was met with a lot of negativity. When customers enter stores, we all expect to be supported especially when we are about to spend our money! The rude behavior continued throughout and I will never step foot in this location again. Please look elsewhere to spend your money when you need to send a package of any kind. read more

We used this shipping service on Dec. 16th to ship out several international and local packages. No idea why there are any negative reviews because we worked with Amanda and she was absolutely amazing! She was so thorough in making sure our packages would reach their destination and was kind enough to stay open a few minutes past their closing hours to finish our shipment. USPS charges $8.30 for a small flat rate box. They charge $15.30 (no wrapping, no tape... the SAME USPS box). If you feel the convenience or their customer service is worth a 85% mark up... have at it. read more

I visited this center to drop off two pre-packaged and labeled UPS shipments going to Eastbay. As I'm approaching the counter, an older lady (glasses, brownish hair) is essentially staring me down like I'm committing a crime or something... eventually cutting off her "stare" without ever saying a word to me. The young lady who tendered my shipments barely spoke to me (only acknowledging my request for a receipt). I felt like my very presence in this center was a nuisance to them! Almost as if my "kind" wasn't welcomed. Having been employed by a package transport company for a number of years, I understand the whole "suspicious" looking package situation and all that but man.. I was simply returning some shoes to Eastbay that I had changed my mind on,deciding to use the original USPS shipping bags they had came in. I flipped the bags inside-out, so as they would not show the USPS logos, etc., so its possible they thought I was shipping something illegal or something.. nonetheless, there is NEVER a need for this type of "profiling" and horrible customer service! read more

I had been to this place once before to mail something and walked out because their up-charge was ridiculous. Fast forward a year... yesterday I went to the CVS in the same mall to get passport photos and they told me their machine was down, but the mail center also takes passport photos. So I walked in and asked how much they charged. I was told $10.95. I thought to myself, well it's a bit more than what would cost at bigger establishments but I'm short on time so I'll just get it done here. The woman pulls out her personal cell phone (!!!) and takes my picture. Then she sends that to their computer and prints my pictures. How unprofessional??? I paid $12 (including tax) for 2 passport size pictures. I thought they all came in four, but this place only gives you two. It's a good thing I only need two of them. I've used them twice now and honestly they're good as a last minute resort. Super pricey, especially if you have them pack an item for you. I had one small box of Legos (already pre-bubble wrapped) packaged by them for Priority Mail and it ended up costing nearly $20. On top of that, it didn't get picked up until the next day (according to USPS tracking info). Again, a decent option if you're in a pinch and great customer service, but you'll certainly be paying for it. read more

Do not get anything notarized here! We came in for a grant deed notarized and had to get it redone because she added our middle initials and didn't write out our name exactly as written on the document. Something a notary should know to do. Also, we got a consent for one parent to go get a minor passport and she insisted that she was not supposed to notarize government issued dl-3035 but another format that she gave us. After asking her if she was SURE she didnt have to notarize where it says "notarize here" she insisted we did not. Well, when we submitted it, they denied our application because didn't notarize their form but another random form she gave us. Needless to say, it was a $30 poorly spent because we had to pay someone else to do it again. read more

I signed up for a mailbox earlier this year because I didn't want the mailman to leave our wedding presents on the porch! What a great mail center! Everyone here is very friendly and very helpful. They always offer to help carry out packages for me. I've also had to ship a few packages and this has been more convenient for me than going to the post office. There is a small surcharge for post office services, but I imagine it's worth it if you want to avoid the lines at the post office, especially during the holidays! I hesitated to write this review because this little gem is one of El Segundo/Manhattan Beach's best kept secrets. I LOVE the AIM Mail Center! I can slip in here any time of day and get my packages in the mail quickly and easily. My Christmas shipping has never been easier! All the workers are extremely helpful and friendly. Here are their store hours: Store Hours: Mon: 9am - 6pm Tue: 9am - 6pm Wed: 9am - 6pm Thu: 9am - 6pm Fri: 9am - 6pm Sat: 10am - 4pm Sun: Closed One thing to note is that they do not carry USPS Priority boxes so if you want Priority/flat-rate boxes, you will need to pick them up at the post office. I started using this mail center about 6 months ago and I ship items often. I went in to drop something off on Friday and realized I had forgotten to tape my box closed. I asked a woman, whom I later found out was the owner, if I could use some tape/tape gun. Both women working just stared at me for about 10 seconds then mumbled something about $1. One of them slapped a piece of tape on the box then said "that will be $1". As I was just running in to drop the box off I didn't have my wallet or any cash on me and I was honestly quite surprised that they were charging me a $1 to tape the package closed. One of the women said "just pay next time". I apologized, thanked them and began walking away when I heard the owner say something along the lines of "why does she think this is free" I wasn't even out of the building yet so decided to stick up for myself. I told her that in no way was I expecting anything for free I merely just forgot to tape the package and really didn't think it was a big deal to use some tape. When I asked why she decided to talk about me while I was still in the building she said sorry and that she meant to talk quietly to herself. I took my package and left. There are PLENTY of small businesses and small business owners that understand how customer service works. Had she bothered to pay attention to how often I frequented her business maybe she would have understood that I really was not looking for any kind of handout. In any case, she was rude, offensive and I will never use her business again. I would much prefer to inconvenience myself than support her in anyway. read more

I've had a mailbox here for a few months now, and every time I go in, everyone is so exceptionally nice. It's always great to walk in to any establishment and be greeted with a smile. Everyone is very helpful too, offering to help with packages and larger parcels. Someone has even held the door for me on more then a few occasions. They provide mail services as well, but there is a small fee. But for convenience and good service, what's a few cents? I would recommend this place to anyone in need of mail services, a mail box, passport photos, etc. read more
