Oy, New ownership and management have been beyond disappointing. I've been coming here for over 10 years, but this will absolutely be my last time. Since the change in ownership, things have become disorganized and customer service has severely declined. There have also been unexpected additional charges after renewals, and when I asked about charges that were previously approved by staff, I was made to feel like the issue is mine rather than getting a clear explanation. There is also a man who claims to be in an ownership role (Brian), and his interactions with me were highly combative. It was beyond threatening. If he is the owner, that definitely explain the current direction of the business. If not, ownership should seriously reconsider who is representing them to customers. He should not be anywhere near customers. After more than 10 years as a customer, I'm done. At this point, the whole experience would be almost comical if it weren't so gross and disturbing. Hit me up if you want to know a better place to bring your business. I certainly found one. :) read more

Went to ship a couple boxes didn't really have to wait in line plenty of employees. Transaction went nice quick and smooth and it was more affordable than shipping with the US postal. read more

I went in yesterday to return a package. No surprise, post holiday, the line was out the door. But I was not discouraged and it actually went very quickly! I needed them to print the shipping label and there is a charge for that (under $3). They will have the email information on a sign closer to the door that people should send things to in order to be printed so that it's ready to go by the time you reach the register. The people that work there have always been super friendly and this time was no different. BONUS: They have a mailbox for real mail if you need it! read more

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an incident that occurred during one of my visits to your store. Upon entering the store, I was confronted about a previous review I had written. My post had been printed and pinned to the wall behind the counter, and I was identified by two staff members--a woman and a gentleman--as soon as I reached the counter. Shortly thereafter, I was confronted by the manager, Brian. At no point during this interaction was I asked how the business could earn back my trust or improve my experience. Instead, the situation appeared to be predicated on the idea of "getting back at" a customer for leaving feedback. The conduct demonstrated what appeared to be a coordinated effort by staff to single me out rather than address concerns constructively. During the exchange, Brian also yelled "A** H***" in my direction. Regardless of the intent behind the remark, those words should never be spoken to a customer under any circumstance. Given the scene that had been created, I felt it was necessary to disengage from the situation out of concern for my own safety. The fact that employees had coordinated to target me made it clear that the situation had escalated far beyond a normal customer interaction. As I left and reached the door, I realized I had forgotten to give them a receipt for packages received. When I returned briefly, I observed staff laughing and cheering about the incident that had just transpired. The core issue here is the weaponization of a group of employees to target a customer. This behavior is unacceptable, and every customer deserves to know that such conduct occurred. To Brian and the staff present that day: your cheering and sense of triumph--"we got him"--has resulted in the permanent loss of a customer of over 11 years. I will no longer be doing business with this location. I hope you recognize the long-term cost of that decision and reflect on how future customers may be treated. read more

Outstanding Service Every Time The UPS Store on Artesia in Redondo Beach is truly exceptional. Brian and his team greet every customer with a smile and consistently deliver fast, friendly, and professional service. Even on busy days, they keep the line moving while making everyone feel taken care of. I've visited UPS Stores across the country during my travels, and this location stands out as the very best. Their services go far beyond shipping and Amazon returns--they also offer P.O. Box rentals, notary services, printing, copying, passports, and a variety of supplies, all handled with the same level of attention and professionalism. A top‑tier UPS Store experience from a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. read more

Owner is a peach. Posted an earlier review and then deleted thinking maybe I was overreacting. Read the other comments here and nope, justified. He clearly forgets he is in a customer service business. Community owner, maybe he should work on appreciating that community that keeps him running a little more. read more

I have been going to this place for a few years now. The ladies there have always been helpful and nice in every way possible. Today I encountered a male there (possibly the manager) who was outright rude the minute my husband and I walked in. He was upset our package wasn't taped, but again I've always had someone from the store assist me with taping and not make it a big fuss. He then went on to mention "people don't understand taping needs to occur and if not then a 90cent fee will incur....to which my response is I will gladly pay 90 cents no need to speak to me in that tone. I work in customer service also and understand frustration but to blow up on someone else due to whatever your issues are is clearly not the way. Learn to be better. Even though this place is a 3 minute drive I will definitely opt to go to other locations to avoid giving business to this place and to the man I interacted with. read more

People are often quick to leave a negative review, but rarely take the time to share a positive one--this business truly deserves it. I ship items almost every day, and I've never experienced this level of service anywhere else. The owner, Bryan H., is genuinely one of the nicest people you'll meet, and his team reflects that same standard. They're consistently friendly, incredibly helpful, and impressively efficient. I also purchase my shipping supplies here--they always have what I need at fair prices. I can't say enough good things about Bryan and his UPS Store. I highly recommend them for all your shipping needs (they offer a wide range of other helpful services too). I'm grateful to have this as my local UPS store! Thank you Bryan. Cheers! I called on Tuesday for notary services and they informed me that I didn't need an appointment and I could come by anytime. I came in on Wednesday and a guy said the notary guy was not in but he would be in on Thursday from 9:00a to 6:00p. I returned on Thursday at 10:50a and I was coldly told by the same guy that the notary guy stepped out and would be back in 15 minutes. I asked if this was accurate and he said no, it could be longer. The worst part was the dismissive attitude from the staff more than the lack of availability of the notary service. Postal Boxes, Etc. is down the street with better availability and service. read more

I'm not sure what happened a few months ago, but this went from one of the best and most efficient UPS locations to a business that is consistently slow and has less than ideal customer service. read more

I've been going to this UPS location for almost 10 years. It's convenient. I've had no problems with services until today. I went to return. I placed my return on the weight gadget. The lady said I need the original package for my return. No one at this UPs has ever asked me that. She told me to get a mailing envelope to fit my return. I walked back and she threw my return and said she wasn't going to do the return for me. Then she said next customer in line. Wow. I hope owner Brian trains her to have people skills. That was very rude! The services need to be consistent. If original bags are required then stick to that. Again, no one at the site has ever brought that to my attention. PLUS UPS website says, "No box. No label. No problem" what happened to that? read more

I had a pretty miserable interaction today with whomever was working on this Sunday judging from the reviews below I'm guessing it was the same person many other folks are complaining about It's a shame but happy there's two other UPS stores nearby one in Redondo and one in Hermosa and everyone there is super cool and very helpful Gentleman at this location today was extremely rude condescending and I ended up taking my box in my label to another UPS store I'll never do business here again read more

I've been coming here for many years,  sometimes on a daily basis since I run a small online business.  I usually love this place because they take my usps packages, my amazon returns as well as printing needs in addition to UPS services.  But today my usps packages were refused,  even though they still clearly advertise that they accept usps.  The person (I think the manager),  was just super rude,  he should not be dealing with customers at all.  Well,  either way,  its sad,  I thought this was my one stop shop but looks like they no longer want my business.  This is also the last straw because earlier this year they lost my passport application and I had to launch an investigation since it never left the actual store.  Either way,  moving my business elsewhere,  too bad.  Although reading all these reviews seem to make me feel like I'm not the only one. read more

Manager has poor attitude, wasn't willing to provide any solution for a return label I needed. The package I had came with a shipping document that simply needed them to scan, she didn't even look at it, just rudely gestured me to back of line to fill out the blanks (meant for UPS) only to say she's never seen this document before. If you're in South Bay, go to the Lawndale location! They're helpful and knew exactly what to do, simple and efficient. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience today. I have been going to this UPS for years and would never have complained but today I had a terrible experience and would hate for any other person especially in my condition to experience this. I was waiting behind one customer for a long time. There was only one employee working and then a second employee came in and started doing other things. A third customer walked in and the second employee offered to help that customer. I spoke up and said I had been waiting for 15 minutes. The second employee said "oh you could have come up". Well he never told me to come up. He was taking a long time to help me and meanwhile the first employee finished up with the first customer so he offered to help the third customer even though I still hadn't been helped. I spoke up and asked if I could be helped first. I wouldn't normally do this but I'm 7 months pregnant and it was very hot in the store. I was starting to not feel well from standing in line in a hot space. The second employee said I had to wait while the system was restarting. At that point I was so frustrated and feeling faint so I said I will go to a different UPS. The third customer said i can go in front of him but the second employee said "no let her go somewhere else." I've seen this employee many times before and he's always been nice and I've always been nice to him so I was truly shocked when he treated me like that. One he shouldn't treat any customer like that, two I'm a repeat customer and three I'm very pregnant. I really hope he was just having an off moment and would never do that again. read more

I never thought I'd go online and post a review of a UPS store, but this place is just great. Everyone here is so nice and helpful, they are always more than well staffed so you aren't standing there waiting in a big line, and I've never had any issue here whatsoever. Although UPS shipping prices are generally quite high, I just buy my labels through pirateship online at home and drop off here, and good to go. read more

absolutely the rudest staff I've ever dealt with at a UPS or Fedex store based on 3 different experiences. it feels like they deliberately try to make life difficult without showing any understanding of good customer service. wouldn't deal with this store if there were any other options nearby read more

I recently had to return an item purchased on Amazon. I took the item to the UPS store, the lady scanned the QR code from my computer and completed the process. The UPS Store has turned out to be a very convenient stop in my neighborhood. Ship an item? YES! Drop off an Amazon return? YES! Stop by with a pile of confidential papers to get shredded? YES! I know they have other services too (haven't used them yet.) Really like that they are promoting Covid-19 safety measures - social distancing, masks, and hand sanitizer. Never have to wait long. 4.5 stars - maybe a smile once in a while would be nice, but overall pretty good. read more

Very busy store with many workers and customers. All the employees know what they're doing (notable only because that seems to be a rarity lately, sadly), and all my different services have gone very smoothly. Clean and tidy. The only thing that'd be nice to see is workers being more welcome, encouraging, and smiling, because it can be a intimidating walking into a tight space like that and not knowing what you're doing. read more

Don't use this store for any high value Amazon returns. An expensive item that I dropped off went "missing". Usually they have been good. Left my phone at home brought some boxes to mail to some east coast relatives. Accidentally transposed the zip code for New York City address. She said "we can't mail that" I asked if they could look it up...as I would prefer not to go home... they weren't busy at all... the response "no we can't do that. " Wow... so I'll just drive to the more distant UPS. Sad they didn't have the technology to support looking up the zip code For the address it's in Manhattan not Nepal. Next time yes don't leave your phone and 2 don't expect customer service or understanding if I go back here. Oh so I went to another UPS store and guess what they had the address in their system.... no words... someone needs training... read more

I sent my 16 year olds to get their passport photos taken at this store. They were wearing hoodies and those are not allowed on passport photos and they were wearing white tshirts underneath which are also not allowed (which we weren't aware of). So they were told them to fold their hoodies into their necks and when I saw the pictures they look ridiculous! I called the store to ask if they would allow them to retake the photos and they said we would have to pay again! They said the pictures are acceptable! These are their official pictures for the next 5 years! I even spoke to the Mgr - Cameron and she wouldn't budge either! It isn't much money but she should realize that customer service goes a long way! I'm very disappointed. read more

This is the first time I've ever had a PO Box, and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. UPS is now charging two dollars to drop off your rent check if your landlord has a mailbox at their facility! What a way to rip people off during the pandemic that are just trying to pay their rent on time. Not only that they were as rude as could be and told me I could get a stamp and put it in the mail I rode my bike over here with just the check!!!! Very poor customer service at this location. As a soon to be online business owner I will never use UPS. I will state that on my website that UPS will never be used for mailing ANYTHING I sell!! Here we go again at UPS now they give you a plethora of lumber equaling paper to condense the fact that they make you pay the two dollars to drop off your rent.
