This is my first time trying this place and I've been to several different Poki spots and this one is now on my top three favorite. The only reason why it's not number one is because I live in Riverside and it's a pretty far drive, but it's definitely worth it. The employees that worked there were super friendly especially Vanessa (Manager). I love going into new places and getting the experience she gave us. She broke everything down for us and let us get some samples of the sauces. She was very patient and very attentive to what we wanted in our bowls. Heard about this place from co workers, came to check it out. Faye was very nice and recommended sauces and toppings to go with my stuff. I didn't know because I've only had sushi and don't really now what mixes with what. Vanessa was also great and rang me out. Both Vanessa and Faye were very delightful and made my experience great. This is definitely a more pricey poke spot. I also find it odd that the largest bowl 11.50 and is only 3 scoops. Any scoop after that is $1.50. You have to pay $1 extra for avacado. You'll end up paying almost $13 for a 3 scoop bowl with avocado. Most other places would be around $10. They also don't have large scoops, they level it out. They need more options like jalapenos or wonton chips. The ambiance is nice and and the staff friendly, but I don't think it's worth it. I'd rather drive a little further away and get a better deal. read more

I was going to go to the Hawaiian BBQ place for lunch and saw this restaurant right next door. I thought, hmmm, I think I'll check it out. I am so glad I did. I loved it. The girl that helped me was awesome. I didn't know what to get and she was very helpful. I got the salad based regular size bowl (2 scoops = 1 tuna, 1 salmon) toppings = green onions cucumber ginger, seaweed salad, crab meat, pickled radish, sesame seed. I got the house sauce mixed with the house spicy. Can't wait to go back and try something different. read more

I've came to this place since it opened at least twice a week. Their food is refreshing especially in this hot weather! The fish is fresh and veggies are crisp. The workers are always so welcoming and happy :-) Their prices are great and definitely worth it. The amount of fish and food they put in your bowl and salad is usually enough for leftovers same day. We love coming here any time of the week! All of my coworkers come here a couple times during the week to pick up lunch and then return same day to pick up dinner. This place has great tasting poke. The ingredients and portions are well proportioned according to the amounts we should be eating. You pick what you want and that includes how spicy you want your bowl to be. If your complaining about prices maybe you should stick to cheap Carl's Jr spicy sandwiches, which are more affordable for some. The only thing better than Ahi Poki's food is their customer service. Great nutritious food. You can't put a price on eating healthy but you can put a price on learning how to read, write, and spell. read more

Disappointed. Pricey compared to others in the inland empire. The tuna was terrible. I dislike how the kept all the used tongs in the same container and reused them to mix the food! The rice tasted bad as well. Wasn't worth coming here. read more

Nice separated area within a busy strip. The inside looks nice with calming music and has friendly workers. The food portion could probably be a little more. For 10 dollars you get 2 scoops of protein when other stores would give 3. They are out of scallops for the season, so if you crave scallops like I do; this isnt the place for you. Array of sauces except for Eel sauce. I almost wanted to leave right there but there the only conveniently located Poke shop around. Next time if I could avoid this place I probably would. The bowls lack flavor and the portions are not worth the price. I understand that the place is a chain and I didn't expect the best portion. The service was very slow. They only had one person helping. I would recommend driving to Chino instead. Their Portions are more reasonable for the price paid. Other than the portion size the scallops were rubbery which is an awkward texture considering that they are raw. I don't recommend this place and I hope upland gets more options soon. read more

Ever since Ahi opened its literally become my go to place. Service is extremely fast and detailed and even if there is a line you'll get your food in a timely manner to be able to get back to work on those short lunch breaks. Just finished take out from my second visit and Ahipoki and I'm stuffed. Three of us in the family and two of us couldn't finish all the food. I'm not big on sushi so when my husband wanted to take me I whined a bit. After my first visit I'm completely sold though. The regular size is all we've ordered and everything is fresh and delicious. Honestly though, if the service stinks I don't care how good the food is. The service here is great, the girls are friendly and offer suggestions when asked. I've waited a long time for this place to open and now that it has I'm utterly disappointed. The fish tastes good and they have a decent selection, but the rice is just bad. Bad enough that I had to eat around it and throw it out in the end. The prices are also just a huge rip off, for 9.50 you get two scoops (which they deem a regular) compared to most other places where you get three for that price. 3 scoops (which at most places is a regular) is 11.50 here and considered a large. Would not recommend, I would rather drive 10 minutes pay less for more, and tastier, poke in Claremont or Rancho. read more

Tried this place on my lunch and Wow I was so surprised on how good the food was. The fish was very fresh they give you a good amount. They aren't greedy with the fish either. Plenty of options to choose from. The prices are not that bad either regular (2) scoops $9.75 and large (3) scoops is $11.95. Well nothing will ever compare to Hawaii poke but this one is better than a lot of the other poke places I've tried in Cali. The staff is really friendly, usually I get the whole "hurry up and order cause I don't want to be here" vibe but they were really nice and he was like "take your time" which was nice. I got ahi and shrimp and regret getting the shrimp cause it wasn't the best but the ahi was really good, next time I know just to get ahi. What I like about this place is that they don't have green onion or spicy stuff in every topping a lot of places do! I'm not a fan of green onion or spicy and I like that I was able to get mango and edamame without all that stuff. Definitely recommend to a friend!! read more
