We needed to get away and decided on this Bed & Breakfast based on a friend's recommendation. We stayed in room 7 on the 3rd floor. 1) Location It's as close to St George street as you can get! The inn is tucked right behind a very tasty ice cream parlor (and) a restaurant with an outdoor bar & live band (both on St George street). The inn is centrally located in relationship to St George street. We valued that a lot as we could get anywhere with ease. 2) Our Room Excellent condition and very romantic. Everything was clean, and well taken care of. I preordered chocolate covered strawberries in our reservation and they were waiting for us. Delicious. Our room featured an "oversized jacuzzi tub for two" that was fabulous. Jets and everything! Some hotels have a little fold on the toilet paper.. this B&B had a beautiful bow tie! We still can't figure out how they did that! 3) The Live Band Some rooms of the inn face the live band and some rooms do not. The band consists of a guitarist/singer and a fiddler. Excellent musicians. Our room was quite literally just feet away from this band. We could look down from our window and see patrons of the outdoor bar at a picnic table. Not a problem, except the curfew for the band is 11pm. That's better than after midnight, but we couldn't even consider going to sleep until after 11pm from the amped music. I did walk to the other side of the inn and it's considerably quieter. The website room description did say "Acoustic music may be heard from the nearby cafe". If you are a light sleeper, I'd consider getting a room on the EAST side of the inn (descriptions that do not mention the acoustic music). 4) Check In There wasn't a whole lot of information on check in or check out, other than check in is between 3pm and 8pm. When we arrived, we didn't know the procedure. I had to call in to get the following information. If you are arriving, there is a parking lot across the little street from the inn with a parking space marked "Agustin Inn". This spot is for checkin only. We were met with a very nice lady from the inn who greeted us, checked us inn and helped us carry our bags to our room. She was fantastic the entire stay. After check-in, I had to move my car to one of the official parking spots. No big deal. Since this is right on St George street, its very important to park in their free spaces otherwise you could get ticketed or towed. Check out was a little confusing. We didn't know who to give the key to. We gave it to one of the waitresses and hoped for the best. 5) After Hours Access There are doors with code locks everywhere. If you need to get in, just type the code and open the door. That's it! Pretty easy and effortless. They also had some treats (cookies, muffins) in a dish after hours. One of my favorites was bacon wrapped biscuits. Yum. Final Thoughts We would stay here again. Next time, I'd stay in room 5 (3rd floor). It's out of the way of everything and on the opposite side of the band. If you want to stay on St George street, this is your inn. read more

Augustin Inn helped us have a very relaxing weekend. They made sure the check in process was easy and streamlined, and made us feel right at home. We had chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room (which is an extra add on option.) And we had the Primrose suit which is the biggest in the house. The view wasn't much, however the room was beautiful and relaxing enough to make up for it. Right outside the room was a band from a local restaurant playing live music from afternoon until around 11pm. This actually made it sound like our room had live music every time we walked in. The beds our more comfortable than my own, and I own a memory foam mattress, and many rooms including the primrose include large jacuzzi tubs. The breakfast was amazing. It was a two course breakfast served at two different times. They make different items every morning, however you can request a specific dish and they will make it for you, within reason. The dishes they make are so good guests often ask for recipes, which they gladly give out. This inn is right in the thick of the historic district. We did not want for a thing and could walk almost anywhere we wanted to go. This is the way to go if your looking for a romantic weekend away from the kids. We'll be back. read more

I've stayed here two times with my husband. WE really love this place. The rooms are very cozy and many have balcony's (some private) We've stayed in The Nottingham room (smallish with small private Balcony and whirlpool tub) and the Camelot room (Bigger with high bed, cozy linens, a large private balcony and a whirlpool tub for two. Comes with breakfast in bed.) The Inn Keepers are very friendly and give good service. The Breakfast meal is taken in a lovely well appointed dining room . During the day there are snacks in the parlor and on weekends a late afternoon social hour on Fridays and Saturdays with hors'd'oeuvres and refreshments which include wine, assorted sodas, coffee, assorted teas and bottled water. Very nice. It's located just a block from the fort and a half block from the Pedestrian street. You can walk pretty much anywhere from this Inn. I highly recommend this place! read more

The best thing about this place is the location: just off St. George St. in the heart of the old quarter. The staff was friendly and check-in was efficient. The room we stayed in was very small and the bed was almost too firm for my tastes but we wanted the 2nd floor room with the 2-person whirlpool bath and that's what we got. We were there on a Sunday and Monday in the off-season so there weren't any other guests on the second floor. They leave the doors to the other suites open when not occupied and that was nice. We got to see what the other rooms were like. Next time we might try a different one. What really made the stay here supreme and memorable were the breakfasts cooked and served to us by Listari. Her chef skills are outstanding. The food was impeccable. She also had the right mix of professional distance and friendly, comfortable conversation. It was really a great pleasure to meet her and eat the food she cooked which would not have been possible were it not for staying at this inn. All-in-all, I would absolutely recommend it. read more

We stayed at The Agustin Inn for NYE and had such a great time (besides my boyfriend getting a 24 hour bug). The host was very friendly, helpful, funny and greeted us with a specialty cocktail upon arrival. The room was cute, clean and quaint and the location couldn't have been any better! The breakfast in the morning was delicious too! We are definitely planning another trip back soon! read more

This was the 1st bed and breakfast that I have been too. Thank you to my amazing husband for finding this gem in St Augustine. Beautiful room the breakfast was amazing. I would like to plan another visit already. read more

Very friendly & helpful staff in a cozy, homey B&B in the heart of the old city of Saint Augustine. The bed was VERY comfortable--my husband slept in till nearly 9 am, when he's usually up with (or before) the sun. A delicious two-course breakfast is included in the room price--I would have paid for that breakfast, no question! First course was fresh citrus drizzled with honey, then topped with a dollop of full cream Greek yogurt & candied ginger. The second course, cream-cheese-stuffed French toast, was made with a local bakery's seed-crusted boule and it was perfect--crusty on the outside, soft inside and delicious all the way through. The coffee was strong and tasty. Augustin Inn is walking distance to anything in the old town, so you can abandon your car in the free parking spot and explore! I'm looking forward to staying here again. read more

Right in the center of town with the best breakfast, personalized service and really good coffee. Too busy to enjoy the nightly adult beverages except for the first night. The staff is a well oiled machine that broadcast congeniality while maintaining professionalism. I never saw them clean a table, but I also never saw a dirty table--it was amazing. I assume in retrospect that one of the staff can work her nose like Samantha Stevens and magically transport the dirty plates to the kitchen read more

Very nice B&B. We will recommend this to other as well. The staff was SUPER nice, great breakfasts, clean rooms. Not sure what else you need to know. Go online and pick the room you want and bam it's just like that when you get there. Thanks to all the staff @ AIB&B :) read more

We just spent a wonderful weekend in Agustin Inn. What a wonderful experience we had from beginning to end. The room was very clean, breakfast was amazing and the staff was very nice. Can't wait to come back read more

The BEST St. Augustine experience-and right in the heart of the historic district. Walking distance from a multitude of attractions, with warm hospitality and the best breakfast in St. Augustine. There are too many reasons to enumerate as to why we continue to stay here every time we visit. read more

This is an adorable bed and breakfast! The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. My boyfriend is a vegetarian and they checked in with him upon arrival as well as at breakfast the next morning to ensure that the food they had prepared would meet his needs. And the food was delicious! The homemade cookies baked fresh every morning are to die for. The B&B is located super close to the bustle of downtown St Augustine, but still far enough away for it to be quiet at night and in the morning. The room was cozy and comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway! Thank you so much! read more

The location is great and close to everything, but with no parking on site, even with a free pass from them, it was worse than we expected to find a parking space. We have been to several B & B's over the years and always loved the breakfasts. The breakfast here was more like a continental breakfast. They gave you very small portions and no options. Our second morning, we were still hungry after eating and asked our server, Terry, for some bread since we saw others with bread. She said that the bread was only for the vegetarians because they were not eating the sausage. After that excuse, we noticed that other people had 2 small links of sausage and bread. We had tipped her prior to finishing, unfortunately, and got nothing else. We went out to eat afterwards. read more

This place was the best! Right in the heart of downtown and walking distance to everything! The staff was amazing. Our rom was room 18. We had our own private entrance that did no require us to use the house entrance. The room was large and clean with a huge 2 person walk in shower! Every morning they serve the most amazing 2 course breakfast! Worth the visit for a romantic getaway! read more

This place is absolutely fabulous! From the staff who are friendly and genuinely nice, to the beautiful rooms (That shower is amazing!) and the yummy food. The homemade cookies and infused ice water always waiting in the lobby are just some of the little extra touches that make it exceptional! Great job everyone. We will definitely be back! read more

This was our first time stay at a bed-and-breakfast. We had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, within walking distance of pretty much everything. The breakfast is absolutely amazing and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay at this place again next time we visit. The parking lot is a little walk, but we expected to walk the whole weekend. It was lovely and romantic and we had an excellent time. The rooms were tidy and quaint and felt like we were staying in someone's house..,which we pretty much were! read more

Place was awesome, staff was extremely friendly. Place was clean and conveniently located a block away from the main road. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! You won't be disappointed with staying here! read more

This was my first trip to st augustine. My friend suggested we stay at a bed and breakfast since we have never stayed at one before. I was hesitant at first bc of the cost and it was something new to me. We booked a room at the inn just to give it a try, since the reviews were good. The day of arrival, I notified the lady at the front desk via phone call that we might have a third person joining us. I asked if there were any roll out beds and she stated yes but would be too small to fit in the windsor room. I then asked if there were any other rooms available, especially the one that slept 3 to a room. She stated no and that all rooms were booked this weekend. I then asked if there was a charge for an extra person per room and she stated it would be $30. I thanked her for her help and notified her that we would be checking in late. My friends and i drove up friday night to the inn later than expected. We tried calling to let the front desk know but no one answered so we started to get worried at the fact the room might have been given away. We arrived at the inn and were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome packet at the inn. The inn was beautiful and had already exceeded my expectations. We woke up the next morning to have breakfast. The wait staff was wonderful that morning. Breakfast was delicious. Tracey the innkeeper introduced herself and notified us of the policies of the inn. This morning service at the inn was very inviting and cozy. So it was a shock when the next morning service turned 180 degrees. We came down to breakfast at 930, the same time we arrived for breakfast saturday morning. Tracey stopped by and notified us of the $30 charge for an extra person which we found acceptable and fair. But we waited an hour and a half before breakfast was served. Tracey kept coming by stating the waffles would be coming soon. Meanwhile a table of four who had arrived 15-20 minutes after us were being served first. We received our breakfast at 11am...checkout time. Also we overheard Tracey speaking with the other table about us which was truly unprofessional. It felt like we were treated as second class citizens, maybe bc we were younger than any other guest, or maybe for some other reason....I am not sure. The service on Sunday morning has left a terrible taste in my mouth about the inn and the staff there. After trying to reach the inn's staff and owner several times via telephone (no answer several times) and email, the problem was resolved with a free night stay. But after the service we received, why go back? read more

My wife and I have stayed at this B&B 4 times and have loved everyone. We have stayed at other B&Bs in St Augustine but this is simply the best. It is the closest from all the shops, restaurants, bars, and tourist spots. Breakfast is always wonderful and every room is different in a good way. There are 18 rooms and we have stayed in 4 so far. This is by far our favorite place to stay in all of our travels. read more

Best b&b ever my wife and I will be coming here every August until we can no longer make the trip. The staff will treat you like family and go above and beyond your expectations. I cannot say enough good things about this place. See you in August!!! read more

I think this is our fifth stay here in two years. It's steps away from our favorite restaurant which makes it even better. Friendly staff, cozy rooms...Eggs Benedict this morning, last stay was chicken and waffles. The only downside is the parking which is a few blocks away but being that it's in the most historic city doesn't make the walk too bad. We will be back read more

Chose this place initially for its location and the decent price. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the place was very clean and well kept. A lot of amenities, and a nice breakfast. The only issue I could see anyone having is the parking, that's a little bit of trouble getting to, but that's to be expected with the location (all of St Augustine is a struggle to navigate). Again, a very lovely, comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and I plan on staying here again in my future visits read more

Best B&B for a St. George street location. It was quaint, charming B&B for the price. The staff was very attentive and the Inn was very well maintained with a comfy porch courtyard. Only thing keeping us from a 5 star review were the room sizes and that you could hear room next to you easily. read more

We love this place. We have stayed here twice. This time we stayed In the Ashford room. It has a nice size room. We love the location, and the staff here read more

I was totally impressed by the Agustin Inn. The staff was amazing, from the woman who answered the phone and then checked us in to the ladies who served us breakfast. They were helpful and polite. We stayed in room 18. It is on the first floor with a private entrance. It was clean and comfortable and modern. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the historic area of St Augustine, walking distance to everything. Just a warning though. Parking in St Augustine is a pain. Lucky for you, you will get a free parking pass upon check-in. However be advised that the parking lot is a block or so walk away, it is not onsite. But good news!! Parking in St Augustine's paid parking lots is free on Sundays, unless posted otherwise. I can't describe how fantastic the breakfast was!! Our first course was baked pineapple with cream and toasted pineapple. The second course was red velvet waffles with cream cheese goodness & bacon. There was unlimited coffee and other drinks. The ladies who served the breakfast were so polite and accommodating. The price we would have paid for this same breakfast at a restaurant would have easily set up back $50. I am thankful to have found this B&B and will stay here again without question!! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g34599-d118000-r418085831-Agustin_Inn-Saint_Augustine_Florida.html# read more

My husband and I stayed at the Agustin Inn in July 2007 for his birthday weekend. The inn itself is just beautiful. It's a 3 story, yellow and green establishment with wonderful porches. We stayed in the Nottingham room because we wanted a private terrace. The room was small but had a lovely whirlpool tub. Our terrace however was just big enough for a table and two chairs. And it overlooked the trash. (that was it's only drawback) The breakfast they served us the two days we were there was generously portioned and delicious. It was served at a grand table in the dining room and had lovely place settings. We ate with other guests in the hotel who were all very friendly. In the parlor area there was always cookies, juice and snacks to be found. And they served a wine and hor's d' overes in the afternoons. The staff there was wonderful and very friendly. The location of this inn is a perfect one. Located just steps away from St George on Cuna street it is a perfect spot to be accessable to all that historic St Augustine has to offer. It is also down the street from the Fort. You cannot park near the inn but are given a parking pass to park in a lot a few blocks away. You can however park in front of the Inn (since it's at the end of the street) to check in and bring in your bags. All-in-all I love this place and my husband and I are returning for our 1 year anniversary for a romantic weekend. read more

So wonderful! My husband and I stayed here for our tenth anniversary. We truly enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were so friendly. We really enjoyed the made to order breakfast also. Agustin Inn - So cute - Bed & Breakfast Near Me - St. Augustine, Florida

After reading such positive reviews (which I'm starting to question the credibility of), I can't overstate how disappointed and shocked my husband and I were by our stay at the Agustin Inn. First off, we're pretty easygoing and I've never written a negative online review - ever - but I feel obligated to share our experience so others don't end up like we did. Not only were we LOCKED OUT of this inn that they leave completely unstaffed at night in 95-degree heat, unable to get anyone to answer our phone calls over numerous attempts, but after finally being let in had to sleep with BED BUGS that literally ate us alive all night. On top of that, the breakfast that came at the end of this sleepless night (that, as no exaggeration, bordered on sheer torture) was completely tasteless and no one there so much as gave a simple smile or even bothered to introduce themselves. The only two people who spoke to us were, to put it mildly, cold and inattentive. Like nothing I've ever seen in decades of vacationing, and certainly nothing you'd expect from what seems online like a nice B&B. Please save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere clean and friendly that actually cares about you as a customer. read more

my husband stayed here for the second time for NYE 2014. although i didn't think it was possible, our second experience was even better than our first. the location of this b&b is excellent, you can walk just about anywhere you want to go in downtown st. augustine. we stayed in the camelot suite. the room was amazing, with a large balcony overlooking cuna street. the room is very clean and cozy, and the bed is amazingly comfortable. breakfast (which is always yummy), is served to you in your room as a perk of staying in the camelot. this was a very nice feature, but even if you don't have that luxury with some of their other rooms, their dining area is roomy and still allows for privacy with smaller tables peppered throughout (as opposed to one large awkward dining table like at some other b&b's). although parking can be a pain in st. augustine, they make it as easy as possible, with one space located directly across from the b&b for a quick check-in and loading/unloading bags. They have a dirt lot about 1.5 block away around the corner from the inn. we left our car there throughout our three day stay, and didn't have any problems. the staff and inn keepers are extremely friendly and helpful, with many great recommendations for dining, sightseeing, etc. i can't recommend this place enough, and look forward to our next visit to augustin inn. read more

Very bad return experience. Bad customer service..rude and handling of unfortunate situation in the lobby in front of other patrons. Expected policy to be the same as the first stay and made attempts to rectify my mistake but would have appreciated being told that my misunderstanding and noncompliance causing a cancellation could have been done at a different time than check in and in front of guests..This is not professional or courteous.. go somewhere else we were returning guests but never again they obviously don't think you matter. read more

The staff is really friendly and did everything to make sure we were comfy in our stay. The food was subpar for a bed and breakfast. They have a set breakfast for each day. The first day we had eggs and ham which were okay. The second day we had some kind of corn break pancake muffin which just was not good, we had to pick up a second meal after. Aside from the food, the rooms and location are great! read more

I was totally overjoyed that they made me gluten free dairy free egg free pancakes! The location is phenomenal. The only downside is that it was FREEZING COLD because the thermostat is shared with everyone and someone kept turning it way down. read more
