Love it! The food here is delicious but alas if it's your first time ordering delivery and you live far from the restaurant (I'm 2 miles away), your food will probably arrive late. I used seamless and mine arrived an hour and a half late BUT it will be on time if you order again in the future. The delivery boy who came the first time was a high school kid and I quickly forgave him for being late because he probably was not familiar with the route, and also it put a smile on my face seeing a youngster working in the summer. He hasn't been late since and neither have the others. Anyway, I'm no Indian food connoisseur but I've loved almost everything that I've tried here. I've tried the chicken curry, lamb curry, samosas, chicken pankora, the chicken lime soup, lentil soup. My least favorite is the chicken pankora because it was soggy. I won't have that again but this place still deserves 5 stars! My favorites are the chicken lime soup (my first order from here because I was sick at the time) and the lamb curry (sooo good!) with the basmati rice and NAAN. The naan is soo delicious but sometimes I don't have room for it; I save it for the next day, pop it in the toaster oven and eat it with cheese (yuuuum!) I'm so glad I found this place. I wish it were closer... read more

Tried this place out for the first time via Uber Eats. I place a ordered for samosas, banana pakora and a vegetable jalfrezi. Literally everything was delicious, hot to serve and immaculately flavored! I will DEFINITELY be placing another order soon. read more

I have had Agra Grill twice so far. Living in the Bronx, it can be difficult for me to find good food places like what I am used to coming from California or like the options in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I love Indian food, and Agra has not disappointed! The first time I had them I ordered them on UberEats. All of my food came correctly. I am Vegan, and I loved that they have plenty of Vegan options to choose from. I ordered the Veggie Samosa and the Vegetable Jalfrezi. They both were delicious! The spices were tasty. My boyfriend who is not vegan also loved the Veggie Samosas, and he ordered the Salmon...I think it was tandoori Salmon, but I can't remember. He loved his food as well. Sadly, they are no longer on UberEats, but hopefully they will be soon. I def recommend this place! read more

This was my first time ordering from Agra Grill and the food was delicious. I loved the chicken tikka masala with rice, and the garlic naan was soft and fluffy. I would definitely recommend ordering this meal from Agra Grill, and I do plan on dining there the next time I'm craving Indian food. read more

I wish I could give this place a rating below 1 star. Ordered from here for the first time and I absolutely regret it! The food was cold when it was delivered to my house even though the delivery was done promptly. The aloo paratha was molded to the shape of an empanada and had mixed veggies. None of the food tasted anything like a home-cooked meal. It was all oily and bland. read more

Oh man. Where to begin. Sundays are the only days my SO and I have together to enjoy. We love Indian food and decided to try this new place out. Ordered at 125 and received it at 235, which is reasonable since max delivery time was 70 mins. The delivery guy was personable and apologised for the delivery time, which really wasn't an issue. We sat down to watch a show while we are and realized that we were missing 2 of the 3 garlic naans that we paid for, plus the raita that we paid $3 for was the tiny. Mistakes happen, so we call to let them know, and they apologized and said they were sending it right over. They're only 15 mins away from us, so after waiting 35 I give them a call to follow up. They apologized again (all the while trying to speak over me/ trying to get me off the phone) and said it would be another 10-15. I was getting irritated but still hungry so I waited. 17 mins passed ( I was keeping track, I know you guys would too) and decided to follow up. Once again the man (turned out his name Mohammed who is also the delivery driver) picked up and said we'll be there in 10-15. I exclaimed that I already waited the initial 10-15 plus the first 30 before that. He said, and I quote," we still need to make the naan. It takes time". I've never been to an Indian restaurant where naan takes over an hour to make. Never. After an hour and five minutes passed, we finally get the phone call that he's downstairs. At this point the food is cold, my frustration took away my hunger and I just want to forget this experience. The delivery driver states that he's who I spoke to over the phone and I'm surprised because he was nice and friendly in person, but rude over the phone. I decided to just get back the money for the food i didn't receive plus the tip. I will not recommend or order from this establishment in the future. The sauce they use for their vindaloo is delicious although the chicken was tough/overcooked. The portions you get does not justify the price. They can be a contender if they get their act together. read more

I was not impressed with their delivery time. Food was scheduled for 7:28pm. They didn't update the estimated delivery, so when I called they said another 20minutes. I always order early to prevent delays. It's going to be 8:30pm by the time the food arrives. Not happy on this occasion. read more

The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and accommodation. We felt like family while we were there. The portions are large and the food is hot and fresh. They offer a great variety and offer suggestions to customers new to Indian food. I can't wait for my next visit!! read more

This place is horrible when it comes to delivery. Should have just chosen somewhere else to get my lunch from. If you're willing to wait an extra 40 minutes for your food then go ahead! read more

OK. The fact that the delivery guy made it to us in the rain driving a scooter just warrants a 5 star review. Service was great, even when I called to check on delivery status they were super friendly on the phone. The food was delicious. Veggie samosas were soooooo GOODDDD and fresh omg. The plain naan was soft and tasty. Tandoori chicken was good and they give you a big portion. Chicken tikka curry is nice. Can't wait to order from them again and try out more items. read more

I've only ever gotten delivery from here but I was so impressed! I've tried several Indian delivery places near here and they've all been terrible until this place. We got the daal and the saag paneer with the garlic naan. Everything was excellent. The food was not too creamy with plenty of spicies and fresh ingredients. My only regret is that we didn't order more food to hold us over for the following night. Delivery took about 30-40 mins as advertised but the food was hot and it came right to our door. There was no crazy delivery minimum and the prices were completely reasonable. I'll likely be ordering again from here next week and trying out the chicken tikka. So happy to have found this place so let's keep it in business. read more

The food was delicious! We had garlic naan, rice, malai kofta, and alu matar gobi. It was all very very tasty!

I always order take out here ! Bomb food. Never fails and they are always consistent.

*Came here last night with my husband & the lovely lady who assisted us was very nice. There isn't many Indian restaurants in the bronx. So you can imagine how happy we was to have come upon this gem. We ordered veggie samosas, garlic naan, channa masala, & saag panner. We ate every single bit of food, everything was extremely delicious. We wish they were located closer to us, so we can order & get delivery but when it gets nicer out we will definitely be back!! We have been to every single Indian/Bengali/Paki/ Desi restaurant in the bronx but this restaurant served the best Indian food we have ever had in the bx!! read more

I love the vegetarian box here. It is my tried and true. It costs only 7.99 until 3:30 pm and it's a HUGE portion that comes with two main portions, rice and naan. No matter what I eat first I always have naan left over. The bread is too big to eat whole. You can make two meals out of this one "box." The couple that own the place always make conversation and smile. Trust me...making any effort to have a conversation is huge here. I appreciate that. The place is always clean. I've dined in only once and I remember that when a place was empty the lady would quickly pick it up. I felt as if they didn't want to have anything appear dirty and that included dishes. Food is great and I go every week. read more

Delicious food! They followed my requests exactly and food came on time! Would definitely order again and recommend. I got chicken tikka masala and garlic naan yum read more

They never delivered our food! We tried calling repeatedly and they say that only the manager can make refunds but "the manager isn't in". Ordered over 2 hours ago and they are saying that "the driver just left". We only ordered samosas, so this should have arrived in 20 mins. The customer service here is awful, no way we'll order again. read more

Horrible customer service! I ordered through seamless and waited an hour. I finally called them to see if the order was on its way and they informed me that the delivery guy was not there and asked if I could come pick it up. I have a small child at home and was not able to go get it. They did not call to warn me or see if I wanted to cancel my order, I had to call to even get this information. They were not helpful and I saw on yelp that this was not the first issue with delivery that they have had. Do not recommend ordering from there. read more

Great surprise for the Bronx. We read the good reviews and decided to head over on a Sunday evening around 6pm. It looked like they didn't get much sit-down trade, and were surprised when we said we wanted to stay to eat. Everything we has was superlative, much better than we would have expected, except maybe the samosas which were ok, just not special. Lamb Saag was a pleasingly spicy, and the Mughali Curry with Chicken was really very tasty, unusually spiced. The naan bread was some of the best we have had. The family that runs the place is extremely friendly, if a bit befuddled about serving sit down customers. They treated us to some rice pudding to finish off the meal, and that too was pretty darn good. An unexpected treat in Williamsbridge! read more

My husband and just ordered a pick up from here - and we have to say the food is exceptionally good. My father is a chef -- so I know what good Indian food should taste like. We ordered the Lamb Bhuna, and garlic naan - and it was like home-made. It wasn't too greasy, or too buttery - perfect! I'm so excited that this place opened up in my neighborhood, and I hope they continue to do well! The restaurant, has a few tables, and it's really adorable - it's painted a sweet light pink. Not to mention, the folks who work there are Bengali - another plus in my book! Congrats on the opening you guys are doing a wonderful job! read more

I wish I could give a negative star rating, and that this review could give you a little tidbit about the food. But alas here we are...........You know what would be great? Is if this restaurant didn't over extend themselves by offering delivery services on GrubHub, or pick up services for phone orders, when they clearly can only handle Dine In options. Today this restaurant took over 2 hours to prepare my delivery order and then sent a delivery person who refused to deliver my food because that wasn't apart of his job. While the manager did call and tell me that they were running behind, they lied twice and said that my food was 10-15 minutes away. Then when the food was finally en route, the delivery person expected me to come outside in the cold and walk to his car to get my food from his car. And he screamed at me on the phone and told me, "don't tell me how to do my job! You come and get the order or you don't get the order!" When I reported this to the restaurant manager, they said "give me more time and I'll get a new delivery person." Mind you this was 2 hours after the order was placed already. The service here is terrible. I've tried phone orders and grub hub/meal ordering apps. Perhaps it's good when you dine in. That's probably the last hope for this restaurant. Good luck to you if you choose to give it a try. I hope your experience is better than BOTH of mine were. read more

I ordered through uber eats. Let's start with the fact that they delivered the food with no utensils, I had this delivered to my place of work so it's not like I had silverware lying around...:so that is unacceptable especially when you e pact to getting premium food for a premium price.. 2nd the food was horrible (the worst tasting chicken tiki masala I have ever had!!!) I will never order from this place again and if you are smart you won't either unless you want mediocre food and service! read more

This was our first time here, we found Agra on Yelp and saw the reviews were great. Definitely is a family run business, the women who was serving was the utmost polite and sweet person I've ever met!! We ordered A LOT of food and finished almost all of it. I ordered the chicken vindaloo, which had so much flavor and the spice grew as you ate more, perfectly done!! I forgot what my mother in law and fiancé ordered, but they lived it. The naan was to die for and the stiffed bread was nothing less than amazing. We had the puff with the chickpeas as well, delish!! We will definitely be coming back!! Very highly recommended, please visit Agra!! read more

Food was okay, but it took them TWO HOURS to deliver 2 dishes when I only live a mile away. It was on a friday night and the weather conditions were fine. I called to complain, and they promised a 10% discount on my next order, but I will pass. read more

Okay reading all these reviews, I was super optimistic that it'd be great. Dead wrong. We decided to do pick up and ordered and waited for the food. Waited a longass time, go home, only to findout they didn't pack the naan (which I had paid for). I called them, they said we can come pick it up. We drove back, another 15 minutes, and they made us wait another 15 minutes--apparently it took 30 damn minutes to make the naan. Finally, we got home and ate the food and it tasted awful. I have no idea why people said this food was amazing. Crap food and crap service read more

I wouldn't have known about this restaurant if it weren't for their presence on GrubHub. I've ordered delivery twice from them, and the food is very good, with generous portions of proteins, vegetables and sauces. The delivery person is very friendly. Timing may be an issue: give them enough time to prepare and deliver your order; you may want to order well in advance of when you're planning to eat your meal. read more

I have supported this restaurant from the first day they opened and now after my last experience I will never be a customer as well as the people I have told. So last Thursday i went to enjoy a meal with my family and wanted to take our leftovers home. The waitress had an issue with us taking food home and wanted to give me a container that doesn't seal the food closed mind you i had food that was very saucy it wasn't dry food. She then proceeded to mention the last time I was at the restaurant with my cousin and her family that her and I had taken too many take home containers for our left overs keep in mind it was only 4 containers for all of us and not to mention we spent over 60 dollars in their restaurant. She told me that if i wanted a container to seal my food closed that i needed to pay for it and she had looked at the Security camera to count the containers we got the last time. After sitting there and hearing that garbage i was appalled I dont think that if I am a paying customer spending over 10 dollars every time i eat there that i need to be charged for my take home container that is ridiculous. I was happy to have found an indian restaurant within the neighborhood and i did not need to go to Manhattan to get good indian food and wanted to support a growing business but after that experience i will never give them my money. They made me feel unwanted and as though i was a thief for asking for a container to go home. I would not recommend this restaurant its only a matter of time before they treat you horrible too. Very disappointed and i will be letting the neighborhood know about their services as the business that i told about your food. read more

Agra Grill - Did not want to give me one of these containers and wanted me to pay for it after spending $30 for my meal - Indian Near Me - Bronx, New York

Samosas are usually my favorite thing but these samosas were super bland! The Garlic Naan wasn't super garlicky but passable. On the bright side, I had the Malai Kofta and it was very flavorful and my partner had the Special Vegetable Delight and said it was "light and tasty" thought they kept dipping into my dish! We pretty much dipped everything into my dish's sauce, it was the best part although there were only 3 vegetable balls for a whole lot of sauce. Overall it was pretty expensive and I'm not sure if the quantity of food makes up for the cost. read more

Great food!! Especially the samosas. The women are very friendly in the store front! Love it

Amazing curry spot i checked out for lunch. Free appetizer sauces with large tortilla looking thing were delicious. They gave a spicy green sauce, some tomatoes in a thick red sauce and some spicy tamarind sauce. Excellent. The spicy sweet and sour curry looked like a typical curry when it arrived but it surprised in the varried and decadent flavors it posessed inside. I highly recommend this dish. read more

The food came with a yummy sauces everything was fresh a tasty. We quickly became regulars, highly recommend! read more

There no word to describe how disrespectful this restaurant treated me. After 20 min late of its estimated arrive time I decided to call the restaurant to check the status of my order, a female employee proceeded to tell me that my order was not a priority since it wasn't a large enough order. After the food arrives in my house a man in a car tells me that the restaurant told him that I must pay him an extra $5. Ofcourse I was confused and I called the restaurant. Never in my life have I been disrespected, the female demand that I pay the gentleman the money because my home was faraway. After delegating she proceeded to say to never order from them again. Please be aware that if you order is $22 or the distance is no conviniant to them they my upcharge you and disrespect. I would no recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. read more

Great Indian food and always consistent, thankfully there is atleast one decent Indian restaurant in the Bronx

I ordered from seamless once and it was amazing. I ordered again and it was so subpar I was sad I wasted my money and time :(((

OK.. I don't always give 5 stars... I don't even post as much as I should. But today I have to take the time to write review of this hidden gem on White Plains Road. I ordered on Grub Hub. I ordered Onion Bhujia to start. These onion fritters are awesome. Very tasty and fried perfectly.. I also ordered Chicken Korma Saag Peener as well as Kashmiri Pullao. Everything was great in was pleasantly surprised of the quality of this meal. I never had Kashmiri before so I didn't know what to expect. I'll say this OMG that's my go too dish from now on. I'm not a big Peener fan but theirs was great. Texture was good and the flavor hit the right spot. I can't wait to return. This will be my new Indian spot. Please support this business. This is what we need here in the NE Bronx.. read more

This was our second time going to agra grill in the Bronx, coming all the way from CT. WE love the food and the staff is very friendly and accomodating. This is one of the best indian restaurants we have ever been to. The food is not too spicy and it is fresh and just delicious. We went with the whole family, including my grandmother who has dementia and my father who had a stroke. They both ate on there own with delight. My grandma was actually feeding herself. That is rare these days and she usually has to be fed to get her to eat. I know she must have really enjoyed the food. The staff is generous and even gave us some extras on the house :-) Can't say enough good about the place! read more

The samosa was aw-really good. It was like a potato empanada. The other appetizers (I got the assorted platter) were good too. My bf got the chicken masala which comes with rice. Of course I ate some and that was good too! We were happy. We would order from there again. read more
