Was on town to see the Omaha beef game and stopped here for dinner. Nice and clean location with good service. Food was tasty and served piping hot. The salsa was good and the price of our meals was just right.

I'll be honest, I've tried quite a few Mexican restaurants here in Omaha, and I would say that Aqaba Azteca is one of the best out there! The service is great, the food is amazing , and the place is kept really clean and comfortable. Everyone I ever see in there seems very happy with their meal. I will go back time and time again.

This place has been here quite a while from what I remember. My office is right down the street. Dont let the exterior of building in a small multi-business mall fool you. The interior is almost an experience. You can find yourself lost in just admiring the work they put into it. For me, at least, that passion goes into the food and drinks they prepare. I have never had a bad plate of food here. The portions for me are quite large, and i end up getting take-home boxes. I love to experiment with reheating food, which can also show you the quality of the original ingredients if you can warm it up and make it taste great again. The staff have always been warm and welcoming , and you might even meet the owners as they run the tables too!

Seating was pretty quick even tho they are considerably packed. So that was a pleasant surprise. Our waitress is really sweet and consistent which we looooove!!! You get complimentary chips and salsa, the chips were really good and fresh made. The salsa was decent not the best or the worst but it did the job. It was free so no complaints. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas, they came out fairly fast again considering how many people were here. The fajitas were soooo good, decent portions too. The sides that came with were decent (refried beans, lettuce, pico, shredded cheese, rice and sour cream). The beans were a little mid kind of lacked flavor the pico tasted like nothing, the lettuce was fresh the rice was good but everything else was just decent. I give this place a 7/10 I definitely will come back to try out other menu items.

The best food and the best service !!! Stopped here on our way to Denver with our pets and all the staff was so accommodating for their outside patio. Abraham set us up nicely putting out cushions and an umbrella for the light rain we encountered. I don't remember our servers name but she was amazing as well ! Would recommend this to anyone !!

Solid experience - I went on Friday (currenrly they are unable to sell alcohol) with a geoup of people and we all enjoyed our food. The chips/salsa were realy good as was the rest of the food.

Service was just ok. Food was not good at all. Keeping it strictly to drinks if we return.

First visit was last night. Great food, great service...the margaritas are dangerously good. We will definitely be back.

I had my first Pepito today! When the waiter set my plate down I was surprised by how loaded the…read moresandwich was and asked, "how am I supposed to eat this?!" I was informed that it's street food and to eat it with my hands... I tried friends. I really did. One bite and it not only was all over my hands and face, half the contents were back on my plate. (I suggest tackling the fillings with a fork first to make the sandwich more manageable.) Food was messily delicious and that dark green sauce made it even better. Huge portions... Friendly service... A+.

Our Supper Club ate at El Arepon recently, and it was such a nice experience!…read more First off, the location can be a little hidden from the main road, but if you use your Maps app, it should take you right there. The interior is fun and bright, with Venezuelan flags hung everywhere, nice wooden chairs and tables, and cute signs on the walls about their beer options and desserts. We spoke with the owner a lot, and he was so friendly and cheerful. He definitely wanted to be sure we all loved our food (which we did!) I started with the Papas Rellenas to share with the table, and they were HEAVENLY. Perfectly seasoned beef and mashed potatoes all fried up in a giant ball. Really good with any of their amazing sauces. And definitely ask for a bottle of each of the sauces, because they are all fantastic in their own ways! I tried an Arepa as well as a bit of a starter, and it was also very tasty! I had tried many arepas in Colombia, and this took me right back there. I had the Catira Arepa, and it was so delicately fried up and then filled with scrumptious chicken, shredded cheese, and some of the amazing house sauce (that's one of the amazing sauces mentioned previously). For my entree, I had the Pastichio, which is a Venezuela "lasagna" dish, with tomato, smoked ham, béchamel sauce, and lots of cheese all melted on top. It was extremely decadent in its richness, and the portion size was huge, so you may have some to take home as leftovers and enjoy later! My husband had the Pepito, which was a giant sandwich full of sliced sausage, carne asade (or another protein of your choice), cabbage, potato chips, and tons of their delicious sauces on top. I got to try it, and it was SO flavorful and satisfying! Another giant portion that will leave you with leftovers, too. We ended the meal with two desserts - the flan and the churros: -The flan was great and super sweet, especially with the added chocolate sauce on top - yum. -The churros were my favorite of the two, as they were soft, warm (obviously freshly made) and also came with a few dips to dunk them in like chocolate and caramel. I'm still dreaming about those churros. With a great owner/staff, fun atmosphere, and out of this world amazing food, I definitely recommend you check out El Arepon for yourself!

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this but surely I am not the only one, right? My husband and I came here for lunch. We ordered 3 items total and that was pretty much exactly the right amount of food. We got the chicken skewers, the chicken empanadas, and the fish ceviche. Everything was well-prepared and tasty. I always love sauces and those were good too. We sat outside, which was a little noisy due to streetcar construction, but it was a nice day. Pleasant music was playing. Dining room looked lovely and welcoming as well. Service was good. I liked it all - and I really loved the Topo Chico limeade. I didn't see it on the menu so you might have to ask for it. You should!

My wife and I went here recently for a date night, and we really enjoyed everything. The menu is tapas, so we ordered a bunch of different food and shared, with the exception of one dish I would order everything else again in a heartbeat. We started out with a few drinks, which were very tasty, then ordered the house guacamole with plantain chips, the carnitas bravas, grilled chicken skewers, chicken and beef empanadas, shrimp cocktail, and Peruvian ceviche. All were excellent with the exception of the ceviche, there was nothing wrong with it, just compared to everything else it was fairly bland. The plantain chips and guacamole were so good together, way better than tortilla chips. If I had to pick a favorite I'd say the carnitas bravas, perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of crispy. Service was fine, the waiter took care of our needs and let us enjoy each other's company, I appreciate that. I'd say 4.5 stars overall, but closer to 5, very impressed.
