Returned for the second time and LOVED again! House marg on the rocks was perfect and the chips and salsa is great to start. I got the Enchiladas Mexicanas and they were YUM, all three sauces are on them so I got to try each of them, it was the best of all worlds. Def will continue to come back! read more

Ambiance is very cool, esp in the back room where the booths are and in the bar area. Taco Tuesday is a steal of a deal with $0.99 hard shells and soft 3/$5.99. Stellar margarita menu. The 4-dip appetizer is my favorite. Always a go-to when in Wahoo. read more

Acapulco Mexican Grill - Did not get a Dip Flight pic in time before everyone dug in - RECOMMENDED!!! guac, queso, pico, beans - Mexican Near Me - Wahoo, Nebraska

tasteless food only reason it's so busy and people go there is because it's a small town and 80% of time you're drunk by the time food comes out so don't care what it tastes like even though there is 0 flavor and 0 seasoning read more

We have had many wonderful experiences at Acapulco. We usually order queso to start and then split a meal because the portions are large. We usually go for the pollo loco which came out differently than we had before but was still very tasty. My mango margarita on the rocks was very syrupy but they're usually better so I'll give them a pass on a super busy Saturday night. Service is always great. Fast, friendly, and professional. Will be back anytime we're in Wahoo. read more

Finally stopped in while in Wahoo to try out a family favorite. I could easily tell why they like it so much. We were seated and attended too quickly. There was plenty of room to move in my wheelchair. Easy handicap parking right out front. The food looked, smelled and tasted amazing. We left full and with leftovers. read more

We stopped in before an event on a Saturday evening at about 645pm. ordered drinks with two of us ordering the 24 oz jumbo margaritas. They clearly were not 24 oz glasses and tasted like weak ass pre-mix with very little tequila in the mix. All this in a plastic goblet that was way shy of the advertised 24oz. We brought this up to the manager and server and they just wanted to argue and insisted they were 24 oz. Combine that with luke warm food, my Chile Verde burrito had no green sauce on it, and was 90% rice inside, a mens room full of water (leaking urinal) and unclean. The 4 meals were below average considering all of the Mexican places we have eaten at in the Lincoln and Omaha areas. My wife did enjoy her fajitas platter and was the only one we all considered acceptable. We had heard good things about this place. so was kind of surprised to find it not busy on a Saturday Evening. I guess we know why! All four of us are well traveled, dine out alot and know the difference between a good bartended cocktail and food made fresh and with care. AT 12.95 per margarita, I would expect something other than something that came out of a machine! Total for 4 just over $100, Not bad if food and drink are prepared well. Not sure where all the 5 star reviews came from, maybe a lot of these folks don't venture too far from home or have not had the pleasure of the many great Mexican restaurants around the area. When we went to pay the check we asked the manager to get a 8oz cup to prove our angst about charging for a 24 oz drink with a 16oz. cup. He declined and insisted they were 24 oz. unfortunately, we won't be able to support this restaurant in the future as deceptive business practices and mediocre food is a deal killer for us. read more

The food was really good and portions very generous. The servers are friendly and energetic. This is the second time we ate here and we've enjoyed our meals each time. The Al Pastor tacos have a nice mixture of spicy flavors with pineapple. Very good. read more

Food was good! Loved the Hot sauce they served with the chips! Best I have tasted anywhere! Server sat us quickly and was very polite ! Gave us ample time to look and menu and order. Fried ice cream tasted as though it had been made ahead and frozen, made cereal coating chewy not crunchy. My husband loved his , it was all gone in a few minutes! Ambiance was comforting and and pleasing to the eyes. Lots of parking! read more

I ate at Acapulco Mexican Grill with girlfriends this week and lost my necklace while I was there. I didn't notice it missing until I was at home back in Lincoln. Fortunately when my husband returned to inquire ( I had not been successful calling to ask) an employee had found my necklace and it was in the safe. I am so grateful and would have liked to reward the person but they would not accept any reward. Good food, excellent service and honesty!! Mucho gracias!! read more

Thought I would try this company one more time since they opened in a new location! Took mom for mom's day! Unfortunately it was a big disappointment! Mom's beef taco salad came out as a chicken taco salad at first and she also ordered dessert which never showed up! Also, server never showed back up after ordering!! Was told he was on a break! Really, going on a break during lunch rush and you have tables?!?! Won't be back for sure!! read more

Went here for lunch. Chicken fajitas were yummy and the lunch portion was plenty. The staff speaks limited English so you might need extra help getting explanations if you don't speak Spanish. All staff I interacted with were friendly. read more

I started this review in the Fall of 2022. We stopped after a Husker home football game. I try to support local businesses in the small towns near where I live. Wow. This was just bad food. The server was super sweet. I won't be back. read more

I don't have a good experience I had the Chili Rellenos , the chili's were black, old, and had the consistency of gum. The rice was good. The beans were good. The coating on the chili's good. The chips and salsa were good. I was born and raised in the Wahoo area, and live in the Denver area now. I would like to see the Restaurant make a go of it!! so when I come to visit,I can go and have a nice meal. Without going to Omaha! read more

This building has been a few different things over the years but it's been totally redone on the inside and it looks awesome! Lots of space for large families, very clean, and a friendly staff. Ordered a taco salad that was good but a little smaller than I expected. All the people in our party enjoyed their meals! Will go back! read more

We have eaten there many times and each time we go I usually get something different. We have never had a bad meal. The chips and salsa are always excellent. The waiters are always friendly and helpful. I need to discuss their margaritas. They are simply the best!! Hands down! read more

Food was good. They did not get my order correctly but food was still good. My friend and I were the only ones in the restaurant as it was a weekday as well as a table full of staff. The staff table made comments as I walked past which was very unprofessional. I will not be going here again as a female, being cat called by workers is unacceptable. Throughout our dining experience we had several of the male workers purposefully try to get our attention. Like I said, very unprofessional. read more

Beautiful inside but I have never in all my travels in Mexico and the Southwest encountered versions like theirs of traditional Mexican food. Some people swear it's good but then they also think Taco Bell is good Mexican food. read more

Food is quick and the service is perfect. This is a great stop for a quick filling lunch that is completely affordable. It's location makes it an easy decision whenever we are in the area. However, the food isn't something to write home about. This is good solid Mexican food but not great. Maybe next time I'll order the margaritas which I am sure will bring the food up to 5 stars :) read more

Amazing food and the best service in the Midwest!! If you ever get the chance to go order the Scott Especial!! It's amazing, the owners will know where that order came from. Food was great! We had a large group and they handled it well. Food came out pretty quick!

Always a delight. Good food. Friendly staff & almost always fast. Just like anywhere else, if busy you may have a wait, but worth it. Enjoy a margarita, in many flavors, as big as your head while you wait with a friend. They are delightful! read more

I don't know how long ago this place changed names or any particulars. The service was a little slip shod. The food was average. Yummy guacamole. 10 ounce Margarita special for $2.50 was good. We don't have a ton of choices in Wahoo so I know they will stay busy anyway! read more

The food is mediocre. This place does not rise above your typical Mexican restaurants. The regular margarita was so salty that I could not even drink it without taking a sip of water along side. We ordered all vegetarian menu items. The cheese dip is a total rip off. $3,49 for a personal small dipping bowl. The whole experience was just MEH.... read more

Probably my favorite restaurant in Wahoo. Everything I have had here has been delicious. The people and the atmosphere is great. Everyone is so happy and kind. I sometimes service can be slow but it's very understandable, it's everyone's favorite in wahoo and it can get busy! I would still highly recommend this place to everyone who likes Mexican food! read more

This place has amazing margaritas. I can also advocate for the fajitas and several of the enchilada plates. A buddy of mine from out of town will come into town with me to get this food and we always have a good time and eat great food. read more

Always pleased. Service and food is great! They've mixed up our order a couple times but they always make it right.

Been here many times, have had a wide array of their menu items, all pretty good with their nachos seemingly being their best plate although their Fajitas are very good too. Can get noisy when crowded, staff has always been superb although they tend to be slow bringing the check or paying the bill. 4 stars but I will continue to make this a place to come back to. read more

We've been dining here since they opened and we love them! The food is always hot, fast, and delicious! They really came thru when everything was shit down, and we were still able to enjoy good Mexican food! read more

We recently moved to NE from Arizona, so we were skeptical about finding good Mexican food in little Wahoo. We were wrong! The service at Acapulco can be slow, but they make up for it in wonderful food. We have gotten the "Mexican style" tacos, tamales, chili rellenos, enchiladas & crispy tacos. All have been very good & served piping hot! The staff is friendly & they are typically very busy (especially @ lunch). I also appreciate that they have signage on the highway & throughout town, so the place is easy to locate if you are new to the area. If you are going through Wahoo, definitely try Acapulco! read more

WONDERFUL.food, menu abd service. Just a delight.

Awesome food! Had the seafood enchilada and seafood quesadilla and my wife had a beef burrito. Easily the best quesadilla I have ever had. Chips and salsa before the meal. Price was very reasonable and service was excellent. Will definitely go again. read more

Awesome margaritas! Friendly staff, lively environment and tasty food. No complaints!

In Wahoo for business, have eaten at Acapulco 2 days in a row! The chips and salsa are some of the best. The food is good, lunch specials are great. I had the Enchilada Suizas on the first day and they were delicious, second day I had the Fajita Taco Salad, again, delicious. It gets busy in there for lunch and seems like a popular place. The service was excellent. read more
