The décor is so cool and the whole place has such a fun, lively vibe. The mojito I ordered was delicious, and all of the tapas we tried were fantastic. Our favorite was the Carnitas Bravo -- and those crispy potatoes... oh yum! We also tried the Plantenera Slider, Peruvian Ceviche, and Chicken Empanadas, and everything was delicious. The plantain chips served with the ceviche were such a smart touch and added the perfect crunch to the dish. Definitely a fun spot with great food and atmosphere!

The kitchen clearly puts real love into the food, and you taste that in every single plate that comes to the table. The drinks were refreshing with even an impressive non-A option. The cocktails arrive beautifully presented and even better tasting - vibrant, well-balanced, and creative. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. With perfectly tuned lighting and immaculate decor, I enjoyed every bit of it. Highly recommend with friends or for date night!

I wandered into this abandoned mall, expecting crap ... but what I got was POTENTIALLY GREAT FOOD…read more I was astonished to see an actual Columbian Restaurant (not some half-assed South Americanized crap!) My steak meal with rice, beans, plantain, chorizo, pork rinds, avocado, egg was $27 something, total. Unfortunately (for them) they didn't offer me my change back ... SERIOUSLY! You think I'm going to forget my change?. ... In the moment, I did think about arguing for my change, but I let it go because I had been deciding whether to tip 6 OR 7 dollars ?? while I was being rung up (their "tip" of non-returned change was less than three) ... so I let my confusion and annoyance at their refusal to give me change (yeah, I should have argued) be appeased by their LOSS of their far larger tip, because they clearly didn't want to give me any change at all.) They packed up my delicious food ((without salsa)). I got it home ... I enjoyed its county-food flavor profile, but without salsa?! It was still very good, but it needed the salsa. The people behind the counter were one-star-at-best (but very, VERY smiley! and friendly! ... but once again, they kept my change when they put my $30 in the drawer and didn't offer me change, and they didn't include salsa). I try to tip well, try to give a review of hidden gems, and bring my friends to the bestest foot places.) One star for service. (Potentially) five stars for the food - but, I never got a chance to taste their traditional salsa. I did tell my orthopedic doctor across the street to take his coworkers there anyway (because of the incredible smell coming from my yet to be eaten box.)

I got the cheese arepa with chorizo and it was really good and only $8. Ate it at a picnic table on a nice patio, and washed it down with a solid draft pint of red ale from Beers R Us. Will have to check out their Oakview location soon.
