I recently returned from a roadtrip and noticed a small spot on my windshield. It was smaller than a nickel but I was worried - they came to my house and fixed it! It looks brand new and was so well done! Great work and I love supporting small businesses. read more

Said was my installer. He was quick, proficient and friendly. I would recommend him for any of my family and friends

Someone smashed the passenger window of our car. I made an appointment with a different company that promised to arrive the same day. After losing most of the afternoon, someone called to say they couldn't find the window and couldn't help after all. I called AFG around 3pm to see if they could help. Initially Said (Say-yeed) told me that it was too late to assist me that day. I called back at 3:30pm to find out if he could help me the next day. He heard how stressed I sounded and said he had someone in the area and would have the glass delivered to the mechanic. I was so happy to get help after 4pm, with glass for an older model vehicle. Mansoor was thorough and dealt with a door cover that was tricky to remove. He inserted the new glass and put everything back together on my door. The cheapest price I could get from another company was $153, for the next day (between 10am - 12noon) not counting the time it would take to repair the car. I had plans to take a trip early the next day. Thanks to someone being willing to come the same day, I was able to keep my plans. Sometimes time is just as important as money. We don't have a garage. I had concerns about not having the window fixed. I was relieved that I didn't have that issue. This company is just like AAA. They service the DMV area. They have emergency road service. They jumpstart cars, fix windshields, windows and more. I paid $189 plus DC tax. read more

Cant give a zero rating. Made an appointment for a mobile windshield repair. Appointment time came and went. Called in and was told the tech would be there an hour later. Waited several more hours and no show. Called the next morning, received a call back two hours later, was left on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on. very disappointed. read more

In today's world, finding an honest, skillful, and kind gentleman like Mansoor who works for AFG Auto Glass it was truly a miracle. I had my driver's side door window smashed by someone while I was at the dentist. There was glass everywhere and I called the police to make a report. Then I started on my journey to get the damage repaired. Neither my insurance company nor any of the 10 companies listed on the internet could help until next week. That was unacceptable because I could not drive in the cold and wet with the broken window. I call AFG and Mansoor said he would come and fix the broken window in 45 minutes. I was amazed at his skill and could not have been happier that the damage was fixed. Not only that but he was so kind and kept me informed every step of the way. I wish that all vendors could provide the service as Mansoor did. I would have given 10 stars if I was able. I hope I never have this problem again but will be certain to provide this information to all my family, friends and all who could use this service in the future. Thank you so much for turning my day from one of disbelief into a rewarding experience. read more

When I found my window smashed in, I was prepared for a replacement to be a major hassle, but AFG made the process simple and easy. I was able to get a quote quickly, and Mansoor arrived exactly when the dispatcher said he would. He was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable-- our new window works well and looks great. It was such a relief to have this done in the same day and not have to worry about leaving our car exposed to the elements overnight. I recommended AFG to our neighbors who were in a similar situation, and will definitely call them again should the need arise. read more

Do NOT Use AGF Auto Glass!! AFG Damaged my car and caused $1252 of body and paint damage and broken parts. They do not use an assist arm during installation and hit both window stanchions, the top of the hood, and broke the bottom trim. He also cracked the new windshield ~15" during installation. AFG inspected their damage at Caliber Collision and refused to refund the cracked windshield they installed for $869 and pay for the damage repaired at Caliber Collision. I've notified Saiid, Michael, and John of my request for refund and reimbursement of damage costs and they will not return my calls or emails. They do not honor their website warranty even if they broke the windshield during installation as in my case. read more

S'aid was my installer. I have a BMW and asked him if he has replaced bmw Windows before, and he said yes. At 1st glance, I thought everything was perfect. He even put some dealing in the top of my front windshield because I told him it seemed loose. He inspected the little nicks in the front windshield as well and told me that they weren't going to spread, so there no need to repair those He vacuumed really good and had the window in place in no time But the next day, I take the family to dinner and my wife noticed that the door handle to the window He fixed didn't go back into place like it used to. It just stays in the open position until you push it back. Then I noticed a tear in my front windshield tint near the area. He sealed for free. I made an appointment the next day, and no one showed up Called again 2 days later, they apologized and scheduled another day... no show again. Now I can't get them to answer the phone I have been calling for the past 3 weeks! And not even a return text message from S'aid. read more

Sayed came and replaced my auto glass. After he left I noticed that there was a wire hanging out between the windshield and dashboard. I called right away but he did not pick up. When I drove the car next day, I heard wind noise and noticed felt the air coming in. I have been calling him for 4 days but he didn't pick up. Finally, he picked one time and promised to come fix it but did not show up. And of course now he is not picking up his phone again. I even told him I had leave for out of town and had to drive this car. Do not use him if you don't want to get your car messed up. read more

The back window of my car was broken by a rock, contacted the insurance company and they put me in touch with a local company that couldn't fit me in for two weeks. AFG Auto Glass came the same day I called and the total was $100 less than the company my insurance put me in touch with. I called in the morning, they told me around 4PM and that the tech would call when he was on his way. He called and gave me a heads up in the late afternoon and then showed up right on time. He did the whole job in less than an hour, cleaned everything up and was on his way. I am very satisfied. read more

My overhead door got into a territorial dispute with my Ford Explorer's windshield ... the windshield lost and was rendered unsafe to drive. Tried the big name company who couldn't get to it for 3 days and stumbled upon AFG on their WashDC #. Got a real human being even though it was after 7p and by 10:30 the next morning Sayed was here from Sterling VA and I was back in business before lunchtime. It's rare these days to get any kind of timely service, let alone in an emergency situation, so hats off to AFG. read more

This is the most dishonest company I have ever worked with. They performed incomplete work on my car and did not show up for two scheduled appointments to fix my windshield calibration (originally included in my quote). I've tried to get in touch with them countless times to resolve this and they simply won't answer their phone. Following my first appointment my only luck getting in touch with them has been calling from different phone numbers. This is the worst auto glass company in Northern Virginia. read more

I gave 2 stars because the window was replaced, however, the overall was a very poor job. I was not at home when the technician changes the window in the car. So I came to check the job after It was done. The door panel was not properly installed the clips were out and some clips were broken. Then all the glass from the broken window was inside the door, he did not even bother to remove the broken glass. I basically had to do half the job and buy new door panel retainers clips. read more
