This is my second time working with Green Vista, and I continue to be impressed with their service…read more What I really appreciate is how honest and upfront they are. When evaluating my trees, they clearly explained which ones needed deadwood removal and which ones were fine at the time. They also had to remove one tree from my front yard, and they took the time to explain in detail why removal was necessary. I recently worked with Rodney, and he was great about discussing the details of the job and explaining his recommendations. He is obviously very knowledgeable about trees and clearly cares deeply about his work. I especially appreciated that he was there with the crew on the day they removed the deadwood and walked me through what they were doing. Of all the companies I contacted, Green Vista also seemed to have the most appropriate equipment for the job. Several other companies weren't confident they could get their lift into my backyard. Green Vista was able to do it, and they laid down appropriate tracking and ground protection to make sure there was no damage to my lawn. In one case, I found two dead branches that weren't visible from my side of the property. Rodney and the team came back quickly and took care of them, which I really appreciated. I know I'll be using Green Vista again in the future. Their pricing is excellent considering they have a certified arborist involved, and most importantly, they genuinely seem to care about the health of the trees rather than trying to upsell you. Highly recommended.

Based on a referral from a neighbor, I decided to call Northern Woods about my overgrown yard…read more After a free consultation with Robert (Bob), we decided to go with Northern Woods. Not only was their quote the lowest of the 4 other companies I called in, but their level of expertise, service and attitude was second to none. Northern Woods cut down several pine trees, vines, other undesirable small trees, pruning other bushes and branches. This was done with a team who did this all in one day. Other companies had quoted me multiple days of work. As an arborist, Robert knew exactly how to direct his team. Upon completion, he did an extensive several walkthrough of my yard, further pruning and cutting. I will continue to use Northern Woods for all of my tree and yard needs. Please feel free to contact me directly for any other questions re: Northern Woods. I would be happy to share my positive experience with all!
