Coastline Garage Doors is where it's at. I needed a new garage door after a car decided to be in the way of said garage door closing. Don't worry about that, it doesn't matter why the car was under the door when it closed, it was and I needed a new garage door. So, I went searching. I like to support local businesses and found Coastline. I requested a free quote and in two days, my technician arrived to assess the damage. Assessment? I needed a new garage door. I told you already, I knew that. The car knew it and now my technician knew it. I asked him for some prices and in less than 15 minutes, I was looking at a couple of options for new garage doors. I paid 50% upfront, a common request from businesses when dealing with these sort of things, and felt good about the purchase. Side note: they do offer financing for those in need. My order was promptly placed and I sat and waited the 4 weeks for the doors to be delivered. Once delivered, Coastline's dispatch called and updated me with the situation. They were communicative, responsive, and courteous. All three are traits that are appreciated when you're spending a few thousand dollars and need the reassurance the company cares. News flash: THEY DO. An appointment was set and the arrival window was completely reasonable; 2 hours! A whole lot better than the 4-hour windows you receive from the big box cable companies and furniture delivery services. To top it off, they notified me roughly an hour before they arrived! I was able to make accommodations at work with appropriate notice! Another point in their favor. The installation was quick, 2.5 hours for TWO doors and that included the door, new tracks, rails, spring, rod, and drum. They tested the opening and closing of the door, made sure everything was in working order and worked cleanly. No messes left, no trace, just two brand new doors on my garage. Payment was made and just as quick as they were there, they left. Would I recommend Coastline Garage Doors? Uhmm. Question; Does the Sun rise in the East? Well yes, yes it does. Trust me on this. It does. Okay... I'll give you a moment to Google it Go on, I know you want to. Done? Okay and the answer? YES. I would recommend Coastline. Do yourself a favor and do it. Feel Confident. We had issues with our commercial type door and Rudy picked up the phone immediately, and was able to have David come out on the same day - and this was after New Years Day. David was able to quickly trouble-shot the issue and make the repair. He had to remove a large piece of glass from the door, take apart the door frame, fabricate a new metal part for the broken one, and put it all back together. Luckily he was able to do it all in the spot and within a couple of hours. He also did a quality job of cleaning up - cleaning the glass and wiping down the door frame. Impressive job! Pricing for the work was very fair and they offer several payment options. I would definitely recommend using them and would consider using them again if needed. They can work in all types of doors, locks, and handles. They can also work on gates, glass, and other items.

But they don't stand behind their product or being upfront and honest about little things. The door we bought was the floor model and didn't have deadbolt on it and the manual lock and handle part was one long piece . But the owner told us that we can buy any deadbolt with2 inches thick will fit. And recommended us to buy door handle from him for almost 400$ . We later found out that not every 2 inches deadbolt would fit. It was headache to find one. and we found out we bought very overpriced door handle from him. Even top brand like Schlage is a lot cheaper. But the worst thing is when we got our door. The screw that they put in to change to our new handle we bought from them were cut and we couldn't get the door to opened. We had to drive back to get the screws and took the whole handle off and took broken screws out. On top of that on the door knob area. There are scratches from taking the old door handle off. And 2 small deep dents into the door because of the old lock. I wasn't happy about the door condition. It would be more professional if he would be upfront about these dent and scratches and warn us it might happen if the door lock changed. So that we know and aware of this. He offered the exchange but the new door would take at least 12-15 weeks but no refund was offered. We had no choice but hto keep it. If you want to get the iron door from them. Think twice. The communication was lacking and they improved when I met them in person to address the issues. The downfall of delay of ordering new pieces had a domino effect to other trades for our home renovation to two months :(. I took two stars off due to the domino effect of lack of communication about missing pieces or how long it will take in ordering new materials.
