I was in desperate need of a new garage door motor. I contacted OTH and scheduled the service. Edgar arrived on time and was very professional. He explained the whole process in detail and took the time to also explain the new functionality to the WiFi/BT garage door opener. I was very happy with the timely service and attention to detail. I would recommend Edgar and OFH because of my very positive experience. read more

Off The Hinge - New Garage Motor - Door Sales/Installation Near Me

Mark and David at Off The Hinge Door Company were absolutely outstanding. We had a last-minute need to replace two employee entrance/fire exit doors with automatic, motion-activated exit access to be coupled with keycard access we had implemented the day before.. Despite the short notice, they were able to come out within a day or 2. From start to finish, the team was punctual, professional, and thorough. They went above and beyond to ensure the installation was flawless. We experienced some technical challenges with the existing keycard system (installed by another vendor), and Mark's team refused to leave until the issue was fully resolved. Even called the vendor to help us work through the issue regardless that it wasn't their responsibility. It was a programming issue on our own servers and we were able to get that resolved quickly. The work Mark and his team had no issues at all. While onsite, we learned that Off The Hinge offers a wide range of other services, and we will absolutely be bringing them back to assess additional projects. Their pricing was reasonable, their work was efficient, and their technical knowledge was unmatched. On top of it all, they're a locally owned and operated business, which made working with them feel even more rewarding. We can't recommend them highly enough and will definitely be doing business with them again. read more

Mark is the best- he goes above and beyond for his clients, and always takes the initiative to solve any problems that may arise. I hired him to build an EXTREMELY complex custom vehicle gate for my commercial parking lot that has never been attempted before. But Mark rose to the challenge with a rare energy. The design called for a sophisticated control system, integrated lighting, and entirely underground routing system. He was able to build exactly what I wanted, and got it done for a reasonable price. He did lots of custom welding and metal fabrication right on the spot to make things work. He also installed a scissor gate on my door as a bonus! As a commercial landlord I know I can count on him for all of my door needs from now on. read more

Mark is a perfectionist. He's not satisfied until you are and then he goes even beyond that. I was lucky enough to find Mark and I'll be using and recommending him exclusively. I've already recommended him to anyone who asks and when they see the quality of the work it's an easy choice. It's hard to find a good vendor. It's even harder to find someone who is fair and gets the work done promptly and professionally. Mark exceeded all my expectations and restored my faith in finding vendors on yelp. read more

Mark was so quick, and attentive to all our needs !! We needed a fix on our commercial door for our business fixed and couldn't find anyone- so we had to turn to Yelp !! Luckily, we were able to find this company who was super responsive within the hour & was flexible. Mark tried to accommodate us as soon as possible, and had an appointment set up for us very quickly. Due to unforeseen circumstances, his employee was unable to come, so Mark took action and came instead of rescheduling. Such a reliable worker, and he did such a great job with our door. Our door now does not swing open & closes very smoothly and slowly. I would recommend this business to every business as well, since the cost and service is beyond what you pay for. He also fixed the oil leak on our door & even took a look at our front door as well !! Thank you Mark !! read more

Off the hinge door company is awesome! Called on a weekend and they solved my problem in a matter of minutes, offered to do a FaceTime to assess- who does that anymore? Mark came out to replace the bottom seal of my door. This man takes pride in his work. He took the extra steps to cut and notch it to fit perfectly. Then he painted it so you wouldn't see the cut marks. He cleaned up after himself when he was finished. Added bonus was he fixed my door so it would stay shut when closed. He had to chisel and adjust the strike plate. He did this all free of charge! The whole job took about 40 mins which I though was fast. I highly recommend him and will definitely be using him again for any door jobs. read more

Reached out to "Off The Hinge Door Company" and found a real professional. Estimate was quick, informative and included time frames of delivery and completion. All work was conducted as promised except for a minor parts issues. They performed all the work they could on the first trip and then scheduled a second trip when the replacement part came in. I had all the flanges, door locks into the framing and aluminum fixtures replaced but not the door handles. Now the doors looks so good I have to get the door handles replaced and the doors repainted. There is far more work that goes into what you'll see in the photos than you could ever imagine. Very impressed the worker who cleaned up as he went along and even touched up some minor surrounding wood items which was not part of his estimate and he didn't charge extra for the improvements. I highly recommend this company. read more

I highly recommend Off the Hinge door company. Mark, the owner, always goes above and beyond to get the job done, fast response times, with efficient and professional work. Mark installed door access control called Unifi (love this brand, so high-tech, easy to use), electrified panic (push) bars on my existing doors and he re-keyed the locks as well. He was able to find the correct Knok box and installed it as well for my motorized commercial sliding gate. He fixed my loading dock, because it wouldn't rise from the platform. Shout out to Mark for always being super helpful and providing outstanding service. He does it all! Thank you very much! read more

Came same day! Efficient and skilled. Fair price. Will definitely use them again. He is a perfectionist. Great experience.

I contacted Mark about replacing my front door with a new door, without having to touch the frame and he immediately contacted me back with a thorough explanation of the steps involved. He provided me an estimate shortly after and put me on the calendar for the work the following week. When he was at my home peroforming the work, he was in constant communication with me throughout the process. I learned a lot about doors that day! He did an excellent job and my front door looks great. Additionally, when I asked him if he could do an unrelated small woodworking job in my kitchen, he took a look and gave me a fair estimate and began work right on the spot and provided an explaination of the next steps (a painter has to finish the work). I will definitely consider Off the Hinge for future jobs and recommend to my friends and family. read more

Wish I met Mark sooner. We've had a troublesome commercial rear door for a few years now that has continued to slam shut when it was about 6 inches from closing. Not only was it taking a toll on the door and frame, it was quite dangerous as well. We've had 3 door companies come by and not one was able to fix the issue. One co installed a door hinge which we found out later from Mark was not necessary but counterproductive and a waste of money. Another one said we just needed to replace the whole door. When Mark inspected our door, he knew exactly what was wrong with it and quoted a really reasonable price. He took the door apart, did his magic and we now have a self slow closing door. If you have any issues with doors, Mark and Off the Hinge Door Company is the only company you need to contact. read more

Before contacting Off the Hinge Door Company, I've contacted other door companies. I didn't have a very good experience with those companies. I began to feel hopeless until I stumbled on a post from Off the Hinge Door Company. I looked them up and saw that they were somewhat local so I decided to contact them. Mark was quick to respond and he was also quick to come by my business to assess the project with his partner. He went above and beyond. Any questions or concerns that I had, he was able to clarify it. I felt confident and secure because I knew that I could trust him and his work. He was professional, passionate, responsive, respectful, trustworthy, detail oriented, organized, and very clean. Everything leading up to the day of the install was a smooth and an easy process. Mark and David did an amazing job during the install. They were punctual and got the job done in a timely manner. The doors came out very nice. We are beyond happy with their work.
