I picked Mike Correa because of all the positive reviews. The job was to install ONE security door for my tenant. I had a pretty bad experience with him. He did not show up to the scheduled appointments AND he did not communicate that he was not going to show up. We had an appointment schedule for: 1) Monday 04-26-2021 - our installation appointment, Mike rescheduled for the following day and said he didn't have the necessary parts. I had to ask him if he was coming to get this information. (See text message) 2) Tuesday 04-27-2021 - I assumed that everything was done but when I asked for the invoice two days later on Thursday but it turns out that Mike did not even show. (See text message) 3) Thursday 04-29-2021 - Mike said he was going to come in the evening and apologized for the delay. He did not show up. A lot of places I contacted had a minimum number of doors requirement, or weren't flexible on dates, or required purchase of their hardware, and generally just wouldn't work with me. So my previous back garage door was made of particle board and it started rotting away from the last rain. Mike came to replace the door with a solid wood door. It was already primed and ready to go. He also noticed that I had a flooding issue when it rains so he asked if I wanted to have him put in door seals along the sides and an overhang at the top. He also put in a threshold at the bottom. It just rained this morning and not one drop of rain seeped into the garage. Thank you Mike. He is an extremely hard worker and very busy. He is very fair in his pricing. In fact, I don't think you're going to find a better deal with this quality of work. He brings all of his tools and he even cleans up the mess afterwards. He also cut the old door down to size so that I could fit it into my garbage can. He is now my go to door person. I forgot to mention that it was going to rain the following day and I would not be painting it until sunday so Mike wrapped the door up in plastic to protect it from the rain.
