The backup camera wasn't connected at all, and when I reached out for help, the installer stopped responding. At that point, I was out the money I had paid--including a tip--and had to find someone else to fix it before moving across the country. One of the main reasons I purchased this system was for safety during my cross-country drive. Since the Bluetooth phone connection wasn't working, I was forced to hold my phone against my chest under my seatbelt while driving--not safe and certainly not legal. To make matters worse, several installers refused to even look at my Android-based unit. They told me those systems are usually installed incorrectly and rarely work properly. Thankfully, they were wrong. I took my car to Custom Car Concepts, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. Mike got me in right away, properly installed the backup camera, and made sure everything else was working exactly as it should. Did I have to pay to have it fixed? Of course. But the price was more than reasonable, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. To say I was impressed--and relieved--would be an understatement. I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.

Honestly, I am extremely disappointed in this shop. I have been coming here for around 2 years with…read moremy E36 M3, and they have been incredibly inconsistent. I had them replace my master cylinder and slave cylinder for brakes, and they not only did not do it correctly the first time, but also made me feel wrong when I found the master was leaking. It was not until the shop owner got involved that it was fixed. I additionally had my spark plugs to go in to be changed when they did a smoke test a while back, and their technician advised I keep the current ones in the car and assured me they were good. The day after, I inspected them to find they were burnt through the iode and the 6th plug was hand loose. Additionally, the shop manager assured me that there were no codes (in the process of chasing a misfire), and again, I went and bought my own scanner for BMWs specifically and found several codes relating to the misfire. In my most recent exchange, my idler pulley broke after an alternator repair after about 100-ish miles, and when I asked them, they didn't see the faulty part as the idle pulley needs to be removed to replace the alternator. Angel (the shop manager) said that part didn't need to be removed to fix the alternator. A blatant lie. All of this work makes me question why they charge manufacturer labor, not the actual time it takes to replace parts (which I would understand if they had corrected the first time around). In addition to this, I confronted the shop manager about why they had moved my own purchased parts from the floor of the vehicle, and he said to keep them safe. He moved the brake pads to the seat and left a camshaft position sensor on the floor, which sounds like looking through my parts for reasons he didn't care to explain. Instead, he said he was done with me and my issues regarding the shop and its integrity in their work. I really wanted to love this shop, but after being inconsistent, charging for time that isn't necessary for work for an incomplete job, while being dishonest and making it look like I was the problem, after paying thousands for work sucks as a repeated and long-time customer. I unfortunately would not recommend.

Battery was dead after their work and found windshield cracked. Even after no returned voicemails and waiting to speak with them they refused to cover the battery. Battery worked just fine before bringing the car in and would not even hold a charge after their work and other issues found. Stay away from this place.
