Late last year the plastic clip which holds my plastic front bumper to the fender broke loose and…read moreafter several months the bumper started getting lower and lower. I used some duct tape to hold the bumper to the car and contacted several collision centers to get a ball park quote and was horrified at the astronomical amounts some were quoting over the phone. I contacted Chapman Collision on West Bell Rd, made an appointment to get an estimate and unfortunately it took several phone calls and two weeks before I got a response i.e. a quote estimating the cost of the repairs. I made an appointment to drop the vehicle off and on the scheduled day dropped the car off and was told it would take 3-5 business days. I got a call back about 10 days later letting me know the vehicle was ready. They did a great job, matching the paint perfectly and gave me tips on how to get the duct tape residue off from the fender. They also washed the car better than a car wash had in the past. The final price was about $30 more than the estimate because they could not use the old clip which attached the bumper to the fender but they explained ahead of time that that might be a possibility. Despite the wait to get the estimate and the time it took to do the actual work the result was well worth the wait. I would take my vehicle here again if I had to.

Despite multiple attempts (6) to get the issues resolved and already filing complaints with the Arizona Attorney General and BBB, I've been met with frustrating silence and poor accountability. The service I received lacked transparency, professionalism, and care. My car now needs additional repairs--none of which were explained or justified by their team. I contacted both the Body Shop Manager and General Manager, yet I'm still waiting for a meaningful response. Consumers deserve better than this. If you're considering taking your vehicle here, I highly recommend documenting everything and being prepared to advocate for yourself. I'm continuing to pursue resolution through formal channels.

My insurance originally directed me to a small auto body shop on Glendale Ave and 59th, but I didn't want aftermarket parts. I explained this to Travis, and he immediately asked me to bring the truck in. He worked directly with my insurance company, negotiated the pricing, and addressed additional damages that had been missed by the other shop. They had only quoted a repair of the truck bed side panel when it really needed replacement. The team did an excellent job -- my truck looks beautiful again, and all my sensors, cameras, and lights are working perfectly. I'm so happy with the results. Thank you, Travis, for all your help!

Most places I called had waits up to a week out, but Definitive was ready in a couple days. Stephan said he'd be at my house at 8am and damned if he wasn't there at 8 on the dot. I noticed they didn't employ a two-bucket washing method. If that bothers you, just a heads up but my truck was pretty clean to begin with (apart from the sap) so they went ahead and pressure washed it. Afterward they polished and waxed it. It wasn't at the level of a paint correction specialist but for the price I could hardly complain. They even cleaned up the frame rails inside of the wheel wells On god, the car looked like it just rolled off the lot. Well done, Stephan and gang.
