I had a new stereo installed in my car by someone I knew. The unit was designed specifically for my vehicle and included Bluetooth, GPS, and a backup camera. Unfortunately, after the installation, I discovered that most of it wasn't working correctly. The backup camera wasn't connected at all, and when I reached out for help, the installer stopped responding. At that point, I was out the money I had paid--including a tip--and had to find someone else to fix it before moving across the country. One of the main reasons I purchased this system was for safety during my cross-country drive. Since the Bluetooth phone connection wasn't working, I was forced to hold my phone against my chest under my seatbelt while driving--not safe and certainly not legal. To make matters worse, several installers refused to even look at my Android-based unit. They told me those systems are usually installed incorrectly and rarely work properly. Thankfully, they were wrong. I took my car to Custom Car Concepts, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. Mike got me in right away, properly installed the backup camera, and made sure everything else was working exactly as it should. Did I have to pay to have it fixed? Of course. But the price was more than reasonable, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. To say I was impressed--and relieved--would be an understatement. I was having issues with my rear camera on my Tacoma (not installed by them) and Matt tried to help me troubleshoot it, via email no less, so I wouldn't have to bring it in. Unfortunately it wasn't a quick fix and I had to bring it in. I stopped by on Saturday so he could look at it. It took about 15 minutes to fix. Matt could easily just told me to bring it in but spent the time helping me through several emails. When I did bring it in to fix he was very reasonable on what he charged for the 15 minute fix. THIS PLACE'S HORRIBLE WORK COST ME $450 IN CAR REPAIRS!! I would love to give this place a 5 stars if a 5 star rating is ruining my car. I took my car here to get my amp and subs hooked up. The first issue was when I came to pick it up. The grommet for the engine bay was not installed properly so I had hot air coming through my vehicle. Everything was fine until a few months later I turn my car on and it wouldn't turn off. They incorrectly Hooked up the battery to the amp so there was amperage going to and from the batter which resulted in me also getting a new battery that cost $200. This also interfered with the electric computer unit which caused me to go to the shop to have them reprogram the perimeters so I could actually turn my car off. Cool dudes. If ya whip is real simple (i.e. 4-6 speakers max) then these are ya guyz. They'll slap a quick 4-channel amp in there and you're on ya way. But if ya whip is 7+ speakers and requires an 8+ channel amp (or even a dsp), Run. Run..Please Run. They dont got the expertise for that and will leave ya car sounding bad (and with a terrible soundstage). They can't tune if their lives depended on it. They are fantastic. Had an alarm system installed in my 2014 Nissan Frontier, when it was new, and have been with them ever since. They've repaired a few issues with the locks over the years and they have always been very accommodating and reasonable. It's now 10 years old and I had a problem with the alarm system. My fob acted up, the alarm went off and I couldn't shut it off. Replaced the battery in the fob and it didn't make a difference. Put the old battery back and got the truck to them. Turned out the old battery was DEAD and I tried replacing it with a battery that was also DEAD. DUH!! The whole problem was the fob battery. These two guys were on it right away and had me back on the road in no time. They deserve 10 stars in my book!!! read more

I had smashed my transmission pan out off-roading. I took it to the dealership and they said that it could take several months to get all the parts as they were all back ordered. I contacted my friend Will at The Lift Shop and asked if he had a recommendation. He sent me to Casey at custom car concepts, a.k.a. Cutting Edge 4 X 4, and he stated after looking at it that he could get it done within three days. Casey did an excellent job of putting everything together and double checking everything to make sure that it was functioning correctly. I came back to him a couple of days later to put on my Metal Cloak under side armor. After Casey installed the armor, there was a vibration that I couldn't identify. Casey said to bring it back first thing in the morning, and when I did, he was able to locate and fix the issue. He was so eager and ready to correct a potential issue.
