Ryan was quite patient with me as he allowed me to test out the 3 different infotainment systems. After trying them all out, I choose one and was quoted at $923.74 and had to wait a week to get it installed since this is a popular place. The other place I consulted didn't even let me choose what infotainment system I wanted and quoted me at $100 higher than this place. They were able to install it in about 2 hours. The only real issue I've seen with it is that it has more glares than the original system that was in there.

After the install: I lost power to my 12V lighter socket, so I couldn't charge my phone. He mostly likely tapped into the same circuit as the lighter socket, causing power loss (Yeah. He didn't warn me about that before the install!) The audio was also making intermittent Bluetooth pairing failures. I would be driving and then music would stop and start again. Bluetooth phone calls stopped working--only music streamed. The install skipped key components I provided, including the fuse tap, LOC, and amp integration What I learned--and what others should know: The 3.5mm aux jack on the BTC-Five is audio-only and doesn't support calls To restore full functionality, the fuse tap must be moved to a different ACC slot so the lighter circuit isn't interrupted. For Bluetooth calls, you need to use the BTC-Five's RCA outputs and route them through a head unit or amp that supports hands-free calling. If I had known all this upfront, I probably would've skipped the install entirely and just kept using my regular USB-C to 3.5mm Audio Aux Cable Adapter. It was simpler, reliable, and didn't disable anything in my car. No wonder the guy had a weird vibe! I would have given them 5 stars if they had wired correctly, but the job was rushed and sloppy. He didn't create a solution. He created a problem! Now I'm going to have to get my brother to help me fix this. He said the tech most likely installed the tap with only one fuse (for the BTC-Five). Or inserted it backwards, cutting off power to the original circuit. Or used a single-slot tap, which reroutes power entirely to the new device. This experience taught me how to reclaim my install and turn shortcuts into teachable upgrades. If you're integrating amps or planning full audio control, skip the aux hack and wire it properly. I wasn't impressed with this install. What a total waste of money!!!!!!

Unfortunately, after the installation, I discovered that most of it wasn't working correctly. The backup camera wasn't connected at all, and when I reached out for help, the installer stopped responding. At that point, I was out the money I had paid--including a tip--and had to find someone else to fix it before moving across the country. One of the main reasons I purchased this system was for safety during my cross-country drive. Since the Bluetooth phone connection wasn't working, I was forced to hold my phone against my chest under my seatbelt while driving--not safe and certainly not legal. To make matters worse, several installers refused to even look at my Android-based unit. They told me those systems are usually installed incorrectly and rarely work properly. Thankfully, they were wrong. I took my car to Custom Car Concepts, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. Mike got me in right away, properly installed the backup camera, and made sure everything else was working exactly as it should. Did I have to pay to have it fixed? Of course. But the price was more than reasonable, and the work was completed quickly and professionally. To say I was impressed--and relieved--would be an understatement. This is absolutely the place to go if you need car audio or electronics work done correctly. I can't thank Mike and the team enough for helping me out when I really needed it.

I called Audio Express and got a quote, but they didn't sound very confident. Then I called Sound Image and spoke with Will and that changed everything for me. He was friendly, knowledgable, and had that old school "I got you" vibe. Almost a year later, still holding onto the advertisement, I called again and told them I was coming in for the install on my husband's truck (birthday surprise). I got there right when they opened - First Come First Served 10am. I brought in the system, they verified the price, and within 15 minutes my truck was back there. I had my little guy with me, but he was entertained by the free arcade games, and convo with Jon. Couple hours later my truck was done and the CarPlay System was looking clean in our truck! I had to mess with the sound settings a little to get the bump back, but that wasn't too hard...and I like to do it. Bring cash for the best deal, but credit cards are accepted too. I've had multiple systems installed in my Mercedes-Benz inside my Cadillac CTS inside my range Rover and his prices are as far as I'm concerned competitive very very competitive. And of course he charges for wire he charges for the little clips just like home Depot charges for the wire just like home Depot charges for the little clips in the world would you think is for free? I just don't understand why anybody would think that a business would stay open by giving stuff away for free? Now most places don't let you use their tools this guy will let you use his tools so will you wish stuff for free no without your waste of it free hell no. if it's my business I wouldn't give away anything for free I wouldn't even let my tools out but this guy's nice enough tools out to complete your system or work on whatever you have great place to shop great quality top of the brand named items. 5 stars all day!
