I had an awesome experience coming to Maximum sound! I called the owner Sami and told him my concerns about needing new speakers in my car and immediately wanted to help. He was closing in 30 min or so and was willing to wait for me to come in and him inspect. He quoted me an awesome price and was so honest about me not needing to replace my stereo.... Saved me at least $500 and a headache! My appt came up & I was greeted by his son Michael, such a rad soul!! He was so friendly to both my significant other and I. Immediately sami the owner offered to take us home and order us an Uber.... And even treated us to lunch...Did not expect to get such awesome hospitality and the best part... they make you feel like family. I took my vehicle here to have them install a stereo that I brought to them. They shot me a cheap quote cheaper then anyone else. There's a reason for that.. they scratched my dash and my paint.. I asked them to install a hdmi cable and usb. First , They didn't put the usb where I wanted instead they put a big hole in my center console without a cover which will more then likely get dirty and be unusable sooner then later. Second they didn't even install the hdmi cable. Making it impossible to use one of the features for the stereo I purchased from a third party. They quoted me originally 4 hours which was fine and is pretty much standard for every audio shop I called for the quotes. But at that 4 hour mark every time I asked them if they were done they said a few minutes more to finish programming. That turned into an extra hour of me asking how much longer. Which brought me to closing time. Also during my time there another customer came in upset because they also didn't wire his 4 channel in and his speaker wasn't working. Poor guy came back 3 times with different problems. I now know the reason why they quoted me the least. And it's very true you get what you pay for. If you're looking for quality custom work, this is not the establishment you want to bring your car too. I will not be going back and because of their service I now how to pay someone else to do the job correctly. read more

Bought a used car missing the radio and the dealer sent me here for a replacement. The service is a bit spotty as the "son" pretty much ignored me when I said there was an existing face plate and spent a bunch of time trying to find the face plate on his computer. Another customer came into the shop and squeaky wheel got the grease as he immediately changed his attention to the new customer complaining about their system. Fortunately the "father" came out and I was able to tell him about the face plate. He directed me to the waiting room and the unit was installed in about 45 mins. I had an existing xm antenna but for some reason they added another one. I get the feeling that if they had at least looked at the car before deciding on the replacement radio it would have been more seamless. Maybe paying customers get better service. read more

Awful service, awful installation, awful products! I had a stereo, speakers, and alarm installed on my vehicle. The sales person quoted me a different price over the phone, and ended up there in rush hour traffic, but glad I made it in time. Once I got there, they acted like I owed them something for getting there late - I was early. They broke a piece of my dash and put in back in place with two drywall screws. Also, they broke the speaker covers off both doors, and left one hanging. I asked them very nicely to please not leave trash behind, but they left everything under the floor mats, so I found the trash after I cleaned the car. I had a hatchback, but they didn't connect the alarm system to the hatch, so I could open the hatch without the alarm going off. I had the installation completed at a different shop, including re-connecting the radio antenna and hooking up the hatch to the alarm. I wouldn't recommend this 'service' to anyone, at anytime, for any reason. Absolutely awful! read more

Awesome service originally from Glendale Peoria area where audio express and some other stores exist but none compete , I'm not looking and or have the ability to spend 300$ (audio Express) to get a radio installed neither do I want to spend 300-400$(Best Buy) always had better experiences in these local shops not primarily based on scamming their customers .. free install if you buy the items in shop but they already offer better prices than everywhere else and have an impressive inventory! Went in to fix an issue with my door speakers after replacing the battery in my truck, got charged 40$ which seems like a lot for something that only took them 15 minutes. The quality of work was definitely 15 minutes as they didn't even re-tune my app and gave me my truck back telling me it sounded great but sounds completely terrible. I have been involved with the car scene for many years and always take pride in my vehicles. The way they look and sound and its hard to find businesses that you can trust not only with your vehicle but trust that they are not going to rip you off. I got turned on to this place about 10 yrs ago and can honestly say that I will never go anywhere else. They guys here have been great and out of all the people I have sent hear I have never heard anything but good from them. They have gone as far as replacing the remote fob for my alarm after 3yrs of using it knowing its out of any kind of warranty with out charging me. There was 1 time that sticks in my mind that really showed me what kind of company this is. A friend of mine thought he could install an alarm that he had purchased from a friend of his and was having a lot of problems with it. I called the owner of this company Sammy because I have used them and he grabbed one of his guys and drove to my friends house which was not close to their store just to help and did not charge my friend who did not purchase the alarm from them. Who does that? Most businesses are only in it for the dollar they can collect that instant. Needless to say they have gone above and beyond and impressed me completely. Had a complete upgrade done from stock to high performance, double din, sub, all door speakers, 2 amps. Half way home one of the tweeters went out and called Sammy said to bring back next day and they would take care of it. No problem. Tweets fixed,,,,, so this is where it gets weird. I am at the tail end of warranty and tweeters are cutting in and out. I call and talk to bassil, bring it in buddy and we will look into it, he tells me. So I leave work early stop by and well, we have 2 installers and 5 jobs ahead of u can u leave it here ? He says. OMFG dude really ? no I can't. So being technically savvy I figure I'll check it out myself. WHAT THE F**K ? Here is where my blood boils, I originally paid for ORION XTR component speakers, and upon investigating the problem I find there are XTR woofers and JBL tweeters shit wireing ( bunch of pieces taped together ). Well now today a couple days later, I'm gonna attempt to play nice and explain my findings to them in person and see where this gets me, if it goes wrong gonna be finding and attorney due to I didn't get what I paid for. I had a stereo system and alarm system installed in my daughter's car in 2013. Stereo sound is great and integrates with her IPhone complete with hands free speaker. The alarm system worked great until the other day when I went to drive the car, the alarm went off, wouldn't shut off and the car was immobilized. In a panic I drove my own car back to Maximum Sound. I think it was the owner, understood and got my phone number and address and told me he would come by after he got off work around 7pm. Around 7:30 he called from his cell phone and was in front of my house. He diagnosed the problem in about 3 seconds. I had a dead battery. He jump started the car for me to confirm and he was right. He didn't charge me a dime; just shook my hand and reminded me it wasn't an equipment problem. I have always been impressed by the quality of the equipment they installed and I am now totally impressed with the service. Clearly they stand behind what they sell.
