Just not a good experience. I do not know much (really not anything at all) about car stereo systems. I came in explaining I need help in what to do with a classic car I just purchased in which I had professionally installed all new gauges and even an entirely new dashboard. It was a fresh start as I had a brand new opening in a brand new dash for just begging for a brand new radio to be installed. The same for all the speakers which I had all removed so there were open places, again, just waiting for new ones to be installed. Again, I came in at ground zero wanting a fresh start asking for advice on what I need, a recommendation for all new components that meets my listening needs and a quote. I got only the quote. The pricing was extremely high and I had no understanding of why each component was recommended, therefore what value it had. Nothing was written out and I could only keep up with and remember half of what was spinning through my brain. I am sure the employees are very good at what they do, but unless you already know all the nomenclature, slang and have extensive knowledge of stereo systems, you will probably leave saying "let me think about it" and never return . . . as I did. What a shame as I do truly believe this company has the knowledge and experience. read more

If you have any foreign like cars or stereo equipment don't go there. They're good with basic installs like anything kicker or hi fonics. I got my system put back into another vehicle I own and the amp kept going in and out. I went back up there to tell them what's going on. They hit me with what do you want me to do about it. It's your amp and k know it's not, because it never went out before and I don't abuse it. Paid 300 bucks for my system to go in and out when I driving. read more

I first brought my car here back in 2013. They did a great job installing a new radio. I brought back my fiancés truck a few years later and they did a fantastic job installing a touch screen radio and a few speakers. My stereo is not in place correctly it bounces up and down and they did something to my odometer light. I regret the $40 tip. Next time (somewhere else) I will inspect and tip later. Great rates for flat rate labor $$. I had purchased a new factory ACDelco stereo for my G6 from an online retailer that unlocks and programs the stereo to the factory VIN number. After watching a few YouTube videos for installation specifically in my car; I figured it would take me 4-6 hours to install it. Mainly because GM in their infinite wisdom designed it so that the left, center and right sections of the dash/console had to be disconnected and/or detached to replace the stereo. A close friend referred me to Arizona Sound and they installed the new stereo in about 45 minutes (originally estimated would take 60-90 minutes). Superb quality installation. Appears as if it had been installed at the factory. A couple other places I had contacted wouldn't install it since I didn't buy it from them and others quoted dealership labor rates since I purchased the stereo elsewhere. read more

My experience started many months ago when my powered subwoofer was making weird noises. The owner took a few minutes to try to help me in adjusting my amp and I drove off with great sound. He did this without asking anything in return. A few weeks ago the same woofer gave out so I went back in. Again, the owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure I knew what I was buying and ordered a woofer for me without me having to pay upfront because he wanted me to be happy first. When it arrived he installed it into my box on his own and I drove off with a booming woofer. I recommend coming here because while I was waiting I saw the staff all other clients the same, with respect and honesty. I'll be going back for a full car sound upgrade. read more

This is a review just on talking to them, I didn't buy anything yet, but still might. I'll revise the review if they do an install for me. I had a good talk with their installer, who really listened to my needs and what I wanted to do. He was helpful and engaged, unlike all the other places I've visited in the last few days trying to get a new head unit for my Jeep. They promised to research my questions with the manufacturer and get back to me, which is far more than anyone else was willing to do. It's a small shop in an old gas station, but the stock is pretty huge, including lots of install supplies. I would recommend a visit. read more

Great local shop. I brought my car in as I had an aftermarket stereo installed elsewhere and it just didn't look all that great. The original shop didn't seem all that interested in trying to address my concerns so I decided to take the car to Arizona Sound. Should have come here in the first place. A good car audio installer will make it work, and that's precisely what Chris did. No big gaps and I can actually use the fold down door that came on my TT! Took my truck there too to do some steering wheel integration and all is well there too. read more

I just bought a new Mustang GT, the factory system was less than garbage. First I went to audio express who took one look at my new car and quoted me over 3k for 2 Amps, subs and door speakers. Because the AC runs through the radio, the adapter kit is about $500 just to be able to install a new Deck. This was not included in my quote... it was only for speaker. So I came to Arizona sound on my way home. They set up pretty much the same system for less than half the cost. It sounds amazing. Now, I did have a couple small install issues, but when I came back to have it tuned ( which they ask you to do complimentary after 2 weeks) they were amazing addressing the small issues. They, like me expect a perfect Install from their installers and if it's not done the first time, they make sure it is when you return. I am so impressed by this shop. this place is horrible. I had a stereo installed into my vehicle and a back up camera. Also the minute that I left Arizona Sound the radio started messing up so I called them and told them that it was messing up. And the owner told me over the phone that it's not what they did. It's the radio.! lol. it was brand new. anyways I went back down there and the guy who installed it said it just needs to be updated. Well they sent me on my way again and still it would do the same thing I would put my vehicle in reverse the camera won't come on nor will the stereo play! so I let him know again and he said oh it just turns down when you put it in reverse. He was not listening to anything. I said that wasn't the only issue with it. There was many issues I had told him, but he just wouldn't listen and kept putting what he thinks is wrong with it in there so he told me send the stereo back and then when you get a new one come back and will install it for you, I didn't think that was accurate so I found somebody else online and I asked him if he was able to look at my stereo for me he said yes and I made an appointment. In the meantime I gave Arizona Sound the opportunity once again to try and fix it, but again, I was told it is not their installation. It is the stereo itself to return it anyways a few days later I meet with this other guy to have him look at my stereo and in less than 15 minutes he completely fixed it. So the next day I called Arizona Sound and told them that I would like to have the hundred dollars that I just gave to this other guy reimbursed to me because it was not the stereo it was their installation. So the lady said her husband would call me back took my number and he called back and left a voicemail calling me a liar, saying that he didn't tell me to send the stereo back which is exactly what he told me , a few days later I drive down there to their business to Arizona Sound on 35 ave Ave. and Bell and told him in person exactly what happened and he would not give me my hundred dollars. Believe me it's not about the hundred dollars. It isn't about the money at all. It's about the fact that he wouldn't listen or take the time to even think that maybe it was his installation of the stereo he just wanted me to return the stereo instead of taking responsibility. I have been to this company a total of four times and I have sent many people there. It will never happen again I have spent probably close to $10,000 at this place. And I'm even thinking about starting a small claims court case. I do not recommend this place to anybody. read more

These guys have now saved me twice. I was being cheap and hired a guy that was a friend of a friend to install a less pricey sound system. Turns out he sucked and these guys saved me twice now. This last time the guy must have not did the wiring very well because my front speaker was cutting in and out and these guys fixed it for me in about 15 minutes. I did not wait long and they were very friendly. Their minimum was $49 but the guy only charged me $39 since it went so quickly. This is a tiny place that used to be a gas station that has been converted to a stereo shop. Have not purchased anything here but twice they have fixed my crappy system that was done by a crappy installer. Thanks guys read more

This place is wonderful. Went in with $500 and came out with 2 12 inch subs, an amp, a deck and speakers that they upgraded for free. They even gave me a free auxiliary cord. The service was great. I've been to Arizona Sound for all my car stereo needs. No matter the vehicle or my budget, they worked with me to get the best bang for my buck. Their customer service gets an A+ too! 1st car was a 78' Cadillac Deville. They installed a deck[that I purchased from them] and two 12-inch Sony Subs I had bought off craigslist. They had it ready to rock in NO TIME. 2nd car was a 02' Impala. They installed a Sony Deck with Sony Door speakers and two JVC subs. 3rd Car 08' mustang GT. Installed two 10' Kicker 250 Comp Subs 4th Car 96' Mustang GT. JVC Flip down monitor and 2 10-inch Subs 5th Car 10' Mustang GT. Installed one 12-inch Kicker Sub I've went to them each time and have yet to be dissatisfied. DEF receommend them. read more

The exterior looks a bit shady. It's just an old gas station with a chain link fence set up around it. I half expected to see the merch that "fell off the truck" sold from the trunk of a car. But no, it's all new, and in their somewhat dog-eared boxes. The showroom is simply the convenience store part of the gas station, stacked floor-to-ceiling with speakers, amps, stereos, and the like. It's the kind of atmosphere that says, "these folks are willing to deal," and they did. We pawed through the goods, and made a nice stack of stuff we were interested in. We did not get the hard sell, but the guy was available when we had questions. He was very knowledgeable about his products, didn't try to oversell, nor was he condescending -- all the qualities I look for in a salesman. In the end, I think we got a fair deal for some quality components. Since we chose to do it ourselves, I have no experience with their installations, which, judging by all the folks waiting for their cars to be done, seems to be their actual bread and butter. My only issue with the place is that their hours are rather random. Getting someone on the phone, or catching them open seems to be a hit or miss affair. read more

I had to them install a remote start/ alarm in my car and it NEVER worked correct. It would start and shut off randomly. They told me it was the computer so I paid to have it sent in and checked out and the manufacturer said there was nothing wrong with it. It has been over 2 years and they have had many attempts to fix it with no luck and they still wanted me to pay them for a diagnostic. Stay away from them if you want your system to work right. read more

Props to this place. I have been driving around for about two months with a stereo that cuts in and out. I stopped bt audio express who told me I'd have to pay forty dollars for a diagnosis and the repair would likely cost $800. They said a new stereo wasn't an option. Decided to get a second opinion and stopped at Arizona sound. I couldn't gave asked for better no pressure information. Turns out it was the factory stereo and i could have had a new one installed for about two hundred bucks. Granted I threw in a few upgrades. Place is awful. Stay far away from here if you want a good install. They use dirt cheap wires and hookups. Had 4 speakers and amp installed and took it out because they did such a bad job, sounded worse than stock. I am not too sure how to put half a star but that's what I would give them. My son went in there today and was treated very rudely. With no budget, he went in with cash in hand for a great stereo. When he began asking questions about installation and time frames, the little man that helped him said, "If you are not going to get it installed, stop waisting my time. Go home! " My husband and I have been there too and we were not even aknowledged. They walked right past us and helped the person behind us. We gave them the benefit of the doubt, however, after this incident they will never ever get our business. read more

I wasn't expecting to get it back until the next day since it was an hour and a half till close but they finished it. Even offered to set up the 6x9s in a way I hadn't even thought of.
