Daniel is a great find! Service is terrific and at a very reasonable cost. He goes the extra mile to be sure everything is fixed to perfection. Only wish I had known about him sooner, car care would have been better quality and saved me some money! Will definitely take both cars there for any car care needs! read more

I've been coming here for years, and ever since Daniel left, the customer service and family-friendly atmosphere have completely disappeared. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude--she even mentioned her $10K rent as a reason for raising rates to $175 an hour. When I asked if they still honored the family or military discounts, no one could give me a straight answer. I was originally quoted $399.99 for a service, but the final bill came out to $1,500. When I asked for clarification, all I was told was that "that's the price for a basic brake job," yet no one could even explain what was supposedly needed over the phone. Very disappointing experience from a place I trusted. read more

Daniel's is a friendly Mom & Pop auto shop that does a bit of everything. It's not uncommon to find a few Good Ole Boys sitting in the waiting area talking shop. I've taken our Honda Civic and Jeep Wrangler there and received good work at a fair price. But as the proprietor started making fewer appearances over the last year the vibe and responsiveness seemed to change. Service periods became longer, and the work became shoddier. On my last visit I had the spark plug cables replaced on my Jeep. When I picked it up it immediately began to misfire, but since it was closing time on a Friday just before a holiday weekend, I had no choice but to drive it home. After less than a mile it began missing became so severe that feared I wasn't going to make it. When I was able to get another appointment a week later, I was told I needed to replace the spark plugs even though I had no indication of that before the cable replacement. When asking how the tech had missed the significant misfires during his test drive after installing the cables, I got more than a bit of attitude from the staff. Attempting to ascertain why a vehicle displayed more problems after a repairs than before was a reasonable question from a loyal customer, but their unwillingness to provide an answer ultimately led me to seek another auto shop. This was disappointing. Daniel's is conveniently located and my experiences there in previous years had been good. I still have neighbors who swear by this auto shop and my recent negative experience should not deter you from giving them a try. But, if at all possible, I suggest that you deal with Daniel directly. Good luck. read more

I've been going to Daniel's for over 10 years. He's always been honest, fair with pricing, and someone I can truly trust with my car. He doesn't try to upsell or fix things that don't need fixing, and he always explains what's going on in detail. It's hard to find a mechanic like that these days. I highly recommend him if you're looking for someone reliable and trustworthy. read more

I am overjoyed with the Customer Service at this business. Their prices are fair and reasonable. The work has been wonderful. They get my car in quickly. Daniel is a wonderful human being. If you need your car repaired please go here as I believe you can trust this business and Daniel. read more

We were getting ready to head out of town and had a break light out. We called on Thursday and they got us in. The problem was a quick fix, didn't cost an arm and a let and Daniel is so nice. I highly recommend Daniel's. read more

I've been going to Daniel's for about a year. He's always been honest and fair with his pricing, which is hard to find. One time I brought my car in thinking I needed a repair, and instead of charging me, he told me to take it back to the dealership because it should still be covered and they should fix it for free. That kind of honesty says everything about his character. He's someone you can truly trust with your car. I highly recommend him. read more

So grateful for an honest mechanic! Went to a larger chain and they quoted over $5000 in necessary work. Got a second opinion at Daniel's and only needed $600 and plans for future work with them as well!! read more

Where's a good mechanic when you need one? Passing along "the good word," take a chance! Out in my day to day, this was a stop along my way. It turned out to be a stop that could make someone's day. Car problems when they arise are tough and troublesome. Need that good mechanic; look no further. While I cannot speak for having had work done to my ride; let me tell you what I know. While in the motions our paths ran across. It's was destined for who knows when you could use a good and honest mechanic. Does my ride need work? Perhaps, but not today. While on location the owner was one of the happiest and most unique individuals I've met. A small business owner, who works in all area dealing with cars and trucks. They fix both foreign and domestic. They restore old cars to breath new life again. The work that Daniel and his mechanics perform is another form of art. Look at those sexy curves on that old Ford. The lines and placement of the headlights. Just thinking of the old days, when you would just jump in the whip and ride all day! Older cars in all their glory are something to be admired. Ever see that old muscle car in all its glory. How about an old hot rod? These days cars seem to come off of a factory line all made the same way. They have no soul. The cars of yesterday's are an unofficial forgotten relic it seems these days. Until now. Are you looking to restore your old ride, they can put the wrench time in for you. All the work is done by hand with the utmost touch and respect for your ride. While I was on location, customer after customer would call. The owner answers all the calls and has such a personal touch with each one either in person or over the phone. His care and authenticity is overwhelming. This man is a true angel. His gift for working on cars can only come from decades and decades of seriousness and hard works. To be in his presence and to converse with him was so uplifting. Some individuals just have a certain way, a touch of light to pass along. Daniel has that ability when it comes to all things car and truck. Whatever you need don't hesitate to ask? When all else fails what do we do when the car breaks down? We call the dealer. This shop prides themselves on being the dealership alternative. All major services are available here with many different mechanics on duty to meet the needs of his customers. What do you need done? Brakes, tires, clutch, electric, tune up, engine hick ups, engine and transmission full services. Call for your need. They will work with warranty service contracts to make sure you have what you need. The pricing is fair too. While waiting for Daniel on another business matter, he was finishing his business with one of his customers. The client was overjoyed with the cost of her work. When the customer left, Daniel mentioned that why over charge. It's not good business practice. He's not in the game to be a millionaire. He works on cars because he loves what he does. Sure it makes him money, but not millions. He cares to deeply for people that it radiates from him. He has been blessed, therefore turns around at every turn and blesses others when he fixes their cars. Fair and equal all are that walk through the door. What a wonderful day that I was able to meet these Individuals. As an elite, I am sharing the experiences that I have made along the way. I don't believe in coincidence! Everyone and everything placed along my path is for a reason. On the journey of life, a trust worthy relationship with your car specialist is important. When your ride needs service reach out to Daniel. Give his services a try he's worthy of your time! read more

Daniels Total Car Care - She's on her way to Vegas, a custom hot rod to drive down the streets of Las Vegas Blvd. Vroom vroom baby! - Auto Repair Near Me - Goodyear, Arizona

My husband recently had a very disappointing experience at this business. A woman who identified herself as the owner confronted him while he was prospecting in the area for ADT. He was simply doing his job, introducing security and safety solutions to local businesses. Instead of treating him with basic respect, the woman questioned why he was on the property and began lecturing him about crime in the area, which is exactly why he was there, to help. When he moved on to the next business within the same shopping center, she began driving around multiple times while recording him. When he tried to calmly address the situation, she jumped out of her car and began yelling at him. He felt as if she was profiling him and ended up calling the police. After reading other reviews, it seems this business has a pattern of unprofessional behavior. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with them. read more

I am 75 years old and am the proud owner of my forever car, a 2014 Mustang GT Premium. I will not let just anybody work on my "family member". I was looking for a business that I could trust and felt comfortable with when I came across Daniel's Total Car Care in Goodyear. After my initial visit I felt this business gets it. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Some of us are really attached to our vehicles and they understood that. I had a list of items I wanted them to address and at their initial inspection told me that some my concerns were not ready to be addressed. They are VERY cost affective, very professional and upon return of my Mustang I am so pleased with their attention and my GT has never run so well. They now have a life long customer in me and several of my friends will be visiting them in the near future. God Bless them. read more

DO NOT COME HERE GO TO YOUR DEALERSHIP! We brought in our car for an AC leak and a new battery. Brought it in on a Friday morning and didn't get the car back until Monday which is understandable as they are closed on weekends; only thing is, we had to call multiple times to figure out when they would take care of the car and it was one thing after the other. Get the car back just to find out they couldn't find the leak and replaced the battery. We were told to return in a few days as they put dye in to help find the leak. Returned and they found the leak without the dye because it was located in the grill of the car because of the air condenser which was VERY VISIBLE and should have been found either Friday morning when we dropped it off or even nearly ALL DAY Monday when returned before close. The screen on the radio is also no longer working and they tried to claim that it's from the "heat" when it is obviously not. On top of all the terrible service, Daniel was extremely rude, hard to work with, and kept interrupting me. He was not listening to what I was saying whatsoever and I hope you read this and go somewhere else because this is a big waste of time and money. read more

Worst place to go ...... rather spend more money at the car dealer shop. You get what you pay for. Service is horrible especially from the owner. You lost a customer and will not refer this place to my other friends. read more

I spent an exorbitant amount of money at this place and my BRAND NEW engine is leaking fluid. My vehicle was towed (again) to this "shop" and I was told it was low on power steering fluid and no other problems. Upon calling back with my concerns I was yelled at by Angela and told that it didn't matter how much $$$ I'd spent to fix my vehicle, they were too busy to address my issues. I honestly couldn't get a word in the conversation with this woman. Angela DOES NOT give a shite! This has been ongoing since Halloween of 2024. It's now almost Christmas. I wouldn't bring a pair of roller skates into this shop for repair. Here's another pro tip: Replace the battery cover under the front passenger seat when you're finished so I don't have to, ( heard a noise and discovered my dogs tennis balls had fallen into it and we're rolling around ). Disappointed is the " kindest" word I can get away with saying on this platform. Most incompetent shop ever and horrible customer service! read more

See all

Daniel and his team do phenomenal work! After I had overcharged my Hondas AC with a D-I-Y canister from one of the big box stores my AC quit working just as we hit the high temps in AZ. Daniel and his crew swooped in to help on very short notice (got in to see them next day) and got my Honda good to go at a very reasonable price. Daniel is great to work with and I'll definitely be back for any future auto needs. read more

My friend, her dog and I were headed to California when my back tires looked like they lost air. We were about to cancel our much needed trip when I asked Siri for directions to the nearest tire store. We were hot, cranky and sad when we drove to Daniels store. There we were met by Daniel and his mechanic, both of who were the nicest guys ever. They were so amazing and helpful. We were able to go to California and escape Phoenix's heat! read more

Took my car in for a simple oil change, installation of a spring in the door hinge ( which I provided), installation of an electric antennae, re install the reverse lock out reverse Tee bar. Daniel, the owner proclaimed he has proficient staff to handle EVERYTHING about cars - foreign and domestic. I called him on Wednesday June 12th and discussed these items with Daniel. He informed that he had 2 cars to get completed before mine gets serviced. I said okay when do you want me to bring it in for service. He said Tuesday June 18th at 8 am. He never called me to update on what was happening. Tuesday...Wednesday....Thursday......Friday at 9 30am I called him and asked when I could up and get my car. He informed me that they have not started it yet. I questioned Daniel as to why not? He told me he was working on getting a Firebird out. I asked him where my car was? He told me - "OUTSIDE" Now, I have a 1978 Corvette all original with 82,000 miles. I have ALWAYS garaged here the whole life of the car. I installed a new 2024 interior into the car last month - all leather seats and door panels with corvette emblems stitched in. Over 6k for interior and all outside materials...... I said, What do you mean - that it has been sitting in the outside record temperature heat next to a dumpster? Daniel says, No we had it in - I asked so you at least got the oil changed and a simple spring installed. NOPE was his answer and I informed him I would be right down to get it and he said fine. I arrived to find my recently waxed car sitting out back next to a dumpster with a truck parked inches from my car. On top of that the WINDOWS were OPEN. I looked over to a vehicle outside sitting and it was a Firebird and a guy driving out a dirty golf cart and start to wash it. Summation: If anyone has a classic car to work on forget it unless you're a personal friend of his. Daniel talks a great game and he may very well be proficient yet he has zero idea of planning specific car jobs. In my opinion he should stick to cars made from 2000 to 2020 cars. All I can say is what a waste of my time. For classic car owners who take pride in their vehicles - do not let this happen to you. read more

So good, you almost hesitate to recommend them for fear they'll get too busy (like with a good hairstylist). Great work, great people, and they guarantee their work. Honest and reliable. Very fair prices; often they will take a look at something for us and not even charge us (or a very minimal amount). We are thrilled to have found Daniel's after moving to the west side four years ago. They were able to fix my TPMS issue, when the Lexus dealer couldn't. Will never go anywhere else! read more

I was very disappointed. The repair was bad and the part were defective. They were extremely late with the repair and never attempted to call me. Even going to the shop hours after the repair was supposed to be done, I had to wait for an extended amount of time. Never received an apology, let alone compensation. They lack skills in communication and professionalism. They discuss their Christian faith but fail to display the values. Very rude, Poor Customer service. They are very selective with regards to who gets reasonable service. I would not recommend this shop. read more

Extremely honest and kind business. My kids and I attend the Jiu jitsu academy next door. My check engine light came on about a week ago. I was taking my kids to class and popped in and asked if they diagnose check engine codes. He (Daniel himself) said yes and grabbed his computer and went out to the truck and plugged it in. It threw a code and he resolved the issue on the spot. To say that I was impressed is an understatement. I asked what I owe and he told me that today it was on the house and to remember him next time I need auto service. CUSTOMER EARNED FOR LIFE. read more

I've been going to Daniel's Total Car Care for 3 years for regular maintenance. They are friendly, reliable, honest and the fees are very fair. The same friendly faces are there every time I've been in the shop. It's great to have an established friendly business relationship with a mechanic business that I can trust. They really go the extra mile for their customers. I recently had a car emergency. That is stressful, but I called Daniel's and knew I was in good hands. Yes, my car was well taken care of and fixed. It was at a reasonable price with none of the over-selling that is done by corporate-run mechanic businesses. I have enthusiastically referred several people to Daniel's. I want my friends and family to be treated in the honest and friendly manor that I have been experiencing when it comes to car care. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR to Daniels. My daughter did and I'm sad for the treatment she received. Car towed in on a Monday morning early as Daniel said he will get an estimate soon. Tuesday, still no call! Wednesday, I called for her and he said he would get right back to me. Thursday, I called him, and he said give him a few hours. He finally called back and gave a quote of $3492.73. I said fix it. Work completed and my daughter picked up the car and said it keeps stalling when in idle. Daniel told her to bring it back and after 2 days with the car, Daniel told her it's ready that there wasn't anything wrong with the car. 1 hour later it stalled again, and Daniel told her to bring it back again. 3 days later, she was told the AC compressor was bad and it would cost her another $1700. I called Daniel and got a whole different person. Daniels just replace the AC hoses and condenser and now he wants us to pay for the job again. This was a gross misquote and Daniels claims NO responsibility. Daniel hung up on me when I asked the tough question. Now we have no choice but, to go in a new direction. read more

Don't waist your money here!! We came in to get our car fixed and after almost 2 weeks of having it we get a call and it's ready. We go and pick it up and we pay the hefty bill ($3,500). Assuming that the car is all fixed we take it and as we are sitting in idle the car bam it stalls. We call Daniels and explain what's going on and he tells us to bring it back in and they will check it out. A couple days later we get a call saying we found nothing wrong with it and so again we go back and grab our car. We go maybe 2 days of very partial use and you guessed it, it stalls again. So once again we call Daniels and we get nothing but disrespect and he says "well we don't have time for it until Thursday" considering it was Monday when we called. So Thursday finally comes and we bring it back. Friday we get a voicemail saying that he has answers and we call back no answer. Monday we call no answer. By Wednesday we get another voicemail by his wife saying that they have been trying to reach us. So we call back and talk to Daniel and he says we need another part fixed and it's going to be another $1,700 for a part that is max $200. So we hang up and go back to get our car. Save your time/money and find a way better mechanic. read more
