When looking up information on the transmitter(s), we found that the actual transmitter can be purchased online for under $38.00; but we don't know whether it will work with the original receiver. The batteries inside the transmitter cannot be changed because the company has spot-welded them to the wires! Customer beware! Looked over 3 highly rated companies on Yelp for an estimate. All I was looking for was an estimate. Contacted the first two companies. With both, a unexperienced office person answered and both could not give me the estimate I was looking for. Both required a technician to physically check the unit at a cost. It seemed I had no choice but make an appointment with each. Frustrated on knowing I'm going to be paying someone for not fixing the furnace, I contacted Adams Heating to see what they had to offer. Right away, I got a response from the owner in directing me to his tech (Josh). After discussing my situation with him, I cancelled my previous two appointments and made one with Adams. What was the difference??? Simply put ...Integrity and old school values! Josh was honest in his communication and gave me what I exactly wanted, that of an estimate. The problem turned out to be the capacitor and was replaced quickly at a very reasonable price. Throughout the replacement, Josh gave me an quick oversite of the furnace itself which was educating. Even though they…read moredidn't perform that work themselves, they referred me to one of their installers and, in the process, saved me money by bypassing the markup they could have charged. That level of honesty is pretty rare. They could easily have kept the work in-house or added a layer of profit, but instead they focused on what was best for me as the customer. They also followed up several times by email to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy with the outcome. Great customer service and a company that clearly values long-term relationships over short-term profit. Highly recommended.

They gave us a sliding scale depending on labor for specific jobs. When they invoiced us, they included receipts for parts... this is something that we rarely see but it creates a sense of trust and honesty. There are no surprises. Our first job was a lesser, more simple, job-we had at few sockets replaced one of which was a very loose socket that we were concerned about arcing. The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. They are GORGEOUS!! On their third visit soon, we will have heated flooring in our master bedroom installed. B. Henry's Quality Electric is the place to go for your electrical needs. Why do grocery stores subject you to homework to get the best price? That being said I spent $200 for a $350 order. Shopping Friday sales help as well. Some of my past experiences at this store have not been stellar. It seems to get better with each visit. Mikey was my cashier. He was friendly and efficient. What else can you ask for? The Starbucks barista suggested I get the Friday special that included a pastry. The $6 special was cheaper than the drink alone would be. Finally , Austin helped me with my cart in the lot. Also, I had gone back and forth with technical support with several different people from my internet and equipment companies, none of whom were very helpful or empathetic to what was going on. Alistair was able to come out, take a look at what was going on, offer solutions that were logical and reasonable, and was very affordable. It also has the most cash registers ( I believe 9) that I have seen in a TJ. Team members on the floor were all helpful and pleasant. When I asked a team members where a specific item was located the team member would walk me over to where the product was to ensure I found it quickly. When we went to checkout was when things started going wrong. We got behind a customer who was just finishing up when Jaime T (per our receipt) came over and got us stating there was no wait in his line. I handed Jaime our reusable bags who then stated "Just put those at the back of the check stand". At that point I told Jaime I would be right back, I was going to grab a case of water. When I returned 2 minutes later Jaime was 3/4 done with the checkout however I noticed my spouse was starting to bag our own items, and not the way TJ team members normally bag purchases (neatly with maximizing the space in the bags). We were checking out at 11:20, the other open check stands had one or no customers in them and Jaime had no one behind us at his checkout. My spouse stated it wasn't a big deal but when you have one TJ team member not doing what you have come to expect it is disappointing. I hope this was just a one off event and not an ongoing behavior of this one TJ team member.
