I purchased a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica 2 weeks ago and the lower shroud wasn't bolted on the bumper, I was driving on the freeway, hit something and it blew my shroud open dragging it on the freeway if the lower shroud was bolted on damaged would've been less, also my brother is a mechanic and he had a code that the car is running rich, don't really know what that means but he said it's getting more air than feul, also it looks like it has been in an accident with a bunch of overspray like they did some body work maybe that's why they didn't align my front bumper right and forgot to bolt my shroud on, don't believe there 32 or 33 point inspection they basically sold me a broken car read more

We always bring our car to our trusted auto shop to do a full inspection. Today, we found out there's a major issues with the car. Either the previous owner hid the issues or Advantage Auto Direct did. We have to make this right. The cost of fixing the car is way more than the amount it was sold to us. We're very disappointed right now, cuz we do like the car ...I will come back for an update soon. Update 10/30/25: Today we confirmed the white land rover is essentially totaled. Confirmed by 2 trusted auto shop. They're both stated somebody put a temporary make up on the car to make it looked like its in order & running fine, in hopes that whomever takes over, it's their problem to fix the major issues. Which in this case, is us. I literally only drove the car for 3 days. Then, it spent its whole life in the auto shop. I'm really, really sad about this. Bought it 10/12/25. They asked for review, did one a few days after. Brought it to auto shop on 10/10. My husband even went to the dealership (they essentially said it isn't their responsibility anymore since we already drove it off their lot). Was towed to another auto shop for second inspection the following week. So today (10/30), confirmed it'll cost us $30K+ to fix it. Loan is $12K. Expense for towing, inspection + misc fees is $10K+. I purchased a 2017 vehicle with 31k miles on it and within two months it was completely undrivable, diagnosed with needing a complete engine replacement. When I called and asked if there was anything they could do, the owner was unnecessarily rude and told me it's my car now so it's my problem which I thought was insane, as I was being very polite especially given the situation. I now have no car, and cannot buy another one as I am 26k in debt for this useless one. Before it completely broke down, it had overheated multiple times, the starter went out and needed to be replaced, and it had been "looked at and repaired" by a mechanic of their choosing, who clearly did nothing. read more

Please take the time to read our review before you're out thousands of dollars like we were. We found a Ford Explorer we liked at this dealership and, like many, we checked online reviews first. They had a good rating, so we felt confident. We went down, test drove the SUV, and everything seemed fine. We even told them we planned to drive it to Montana the next weekend for a special graduation. We bought it and drove away, excited for our trip. Just six days later, we embarked on our "big adventure" to Montana. As we reached Ritzville, almost halfway there, I stopped for fuel. That's when disaster struck: the vehicle wouldn't back up or move. The transfer case was completely blown, and it was clear it had been failing for a while. We were stuck six hours from home at 5 PM on a Friday, with four tired and cranky kids, and a vehicle that was smoking and threatening to catch fire from dripping grease. We immediately called the dealership. Their response? "You picked a really bad time to break down." and "It's Friday afternoon, we can't do anything until Monday." They did, however, tell us to "Keep all of your receipts; all of your cost will be covered." Well, that wasn't true. After spending one night in a hotel and racking up a $1,600 tow bill to get the car home, we were out another $2,000--on top of the $8,000 we'd just paid six days earlier. On Monday, we called the dealership. They assured us they would take care of everything and call the warranty company. But guess what? They never called us back when they said they would. It was a constant runaround, getting us nowhere. When the warranty company denied the claim, stating it was a pre-existing problem, the dealership then told us we couldn't have it fixed at our preferred shop (despite Matt personally telling me we could). They insisted on towing it to their own shop in Kent. When we asked about a warranty on their work, they refused to give us any information, only saying they would fix it. About a week before we could pick up the car, we called Matt to say we wanted to pick up a check for the $2,000 they promised would be covered, and to have it ready. When we finally went to pick up the car and the check, they essentially told us "That's all he can offer." They offered a measly $500 and said, "that's it!" This dealership will sell you a broken-down vehicle, tell you all the right things when you call, and then screw you over. They don't return calls, and they don't honor their word. I put $8,000 down, then had to pay another $2,000 just six days later--money they explicitly told us would be covered. I'm sure someone from the dealership will respond to this post with the usual "please get a hold of us" boilerplate, but I will not take this review down until they pay the full $2,000 they promised us. read more

Stole my money that I put down for my license plates. I called a WEEK after my temporary plates expired. Nobody answered the phone, I called again the next day and got told that the person who does that "isn't here today" but she will call me to sort it out tomorrow. It's been officially 2.5 months since I've purchased the car and have heard nothing back. Not to mention I showed up to their location & they've went out of business. The doors were padlocked and the windows had boards up in front of it. Probably bc of how sketchy they are. Also my $450 that I paid them was essentially stolen, due to the fact I never received my plates. Before I purchased the car, there was a windshield leak, which they claimed to have fixed, but once again, started leaking the next day after it had rained. Also didn't include a key to unlock my wheels, so I can get my wheels rotated. If this place ever comes back in business, STAY away. read more

These folks have a large inventory of used trucks, larger than some dealers in the area. That's a good thing. However, the way that they value those trucks seems loopy. When you're ready to talk turkey the sales guy will present you an offer sheet containing a breakdown that starts with the wholesale price of the vehicle, followed by the discounted price. The wholesale price seemed like it was generated out of whole cloth - the discounted price seems more in line with what an actual retail price would be. This is the usual auto sales flim-flammery, I don't know who is fooled by these "discounts" but whatever. What is really zany is that the price that they use is for a 100% clean vehicle in tip-top condition. One rig we drove STUNK of cigarettes (the key tag said "REPO"), and the bedliner looked like an after-market piece that was installed using only an Exacto knife as a tool. The other truck, the one that we were presented an offer sheet on, had a bed that was filled with dead leaves. And of course there is no haggling, it's take-it-or-leave-it. We opted to leave it, and the sales guy handed me my old car's keys back like he was handing me a dead rat. I don't mind a no-haggle negotiation if the price is right but this was absurd. Maybe you can dig through the inventory and find a hidden gem that is priced appropriately, though that was not my experience. Oh yeah - there is a sign in the office that reads something to the effect of "The car you are looking at today and will be back for tomorrow was looked at by someone else yesterday and they will buy it today." That's some Glengarry Glen Ross crap right there. read more

Absolutely the worst car buying experience I have EVER had! I drove 5 hours from Oregon to Washington to buy a very specific car that I had been looking for., They would not negotiate a firm price over the phone, I had to go there. Fine. I got there on time for my appointment and had to wait. Fine. I arrived on time and with my own financing. Great. And that is where things went south in a hurry. They would not accept my financing through my own credit union (I got an amazing interest rate through my CU). And I had to wait some more. Did I mention I drove 5 hours to get there? I still had to drive 5 hours to get home. What should have been a very simple one hour transaction took nearly 4 hours to complete. But wait, it's not complete! Because I was from out of state, I had to do all of my own leg work with the DMV and my credit union. Fine. But that takes a minute. I finally took possession of the car after business hours on a Friday. The soonest I can get to my credit union was on Monday. And I went there first thing Monday morning. Have you heard we are in the midst of a pandemic and you have to have an appointment to do most things? Ya. It's true. So I had to make an appointment at the DMV for a VIN inspection and take my car in. I got that handled on Thursday the 12th. November 11th was Veteran's Day and everything was closed, I got the soonest available appointment and took care of it. Then I went straight to my credit union, gave them the paperwork and thought I was done. But no! There's more. The dealership wanted the money wired to them. My CU doesn't do wire transfers but said they would mail the check. I trust them. They seem pretty legit, being a reputable credit union and all. So... here we are on Thursday November 19th, just 5 (count them, 1,2,3,4,5) business days after the transaction was complete with the DMV and the credit union, and the dealership (which looks like a fly-by-night, back alley operation inside and out, but that's another story all together) is blowing up my phone while I'm at work. They all but accused me of steeling the car. Demanding tracking numbers for the check, sending message after message, after message... I lost it. This is a very busy time of year for the postal service anyway, and they are delivering a check from one state to another on reduced staff because of the pandemic, and it might take a day or two to get something from one state to another. And then the dealership accused me of not communicating with them. I emailed their finance guy and cc'd my credit union a few times. My credit union responded. Their finance guy? Can you hear the crickets? I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership to anyone. What a nightmare. I am glad I found the car I wanted, but I am not sure it was ultimately worth the price. read more

I bought a car form these guys in June, everything seemed good with the car on the test drive. When I went to leave the lot the vehicle started popping codes. They put a code reader on it and acknowledged the issue and promised in writing to fix the problem or unwind the deal. Well its now September and I am still out my $3000.00 down payment and stuck with a $10000.00 loan that they refuse to unwind after they agreed in writing to unwind the deal. They constantly ignore me and refuse to take my calls, absolutely unprofessional. To top it all off I haven't seen the car since they took it to get repaired in June. I wish I could give a negative 10 stars to this shady as hell dealership. We purchased a vehicle from them on November 27, 2023 and it has been a nightmare ever since. My temporary plates expired in January and when I called, I got some made up story about the state being behind and had no license plates. They told me it was no problem to simply drive with expired temps. I would not agree to that, so they sent me another set that was good until March 4th. Well March 4th came and went and still no permanent license plates. Again it took numerous calls only for them to finally fess up that they had mailed my plates to the wrong address along with the check for the amount owed to me as they charged me more for the license fees than it cost. Not to mention they mailed the plates and refund check in January, yet continued to lie when I called and said the state had not issued them yet even though I have proof to the contrary. The person I have been dealing with whose title at Auto Advantage is unclear to me (he has acted as the supposed finance guy and also a general manager) indicated to us to go ahead and purchase new plates from DOL and they would reimburse us that cost along with the $145 dollars they still owed us. All we needed to do was send him documentation that we purchased new plates and cancelled the original ones issues and once we had done so, they would get the total of $222.75 refunded to us. We sent that information and proof on March 18th as instructed and got a response that it would be forwarded to their accounting dept. and we would get our money. That has turned out to be a complete and utter bold faced lie. As I write this we still do not have a refund and despite multiple texts and emails, nothing more has happened except now we are being completely ignored and cannot get a response at all. They have tried to give some song and dance about how they were owned by someone else during that time and it has been difficult to get the previous owners to pay up, but frankly that is not our problem. I could care less about their internal business dealings. As the customer and if you were an honest dealership, you would refund the monies due and then deal with your own problems with ownership outside of that. I should not be penalized and basically ripped off because you not only are currently unprofessional and shady but were previously owned by someone who was unprofessional and shady. They have done nothing but lie about the license plates, fees, refunds and about their internal issues. I will never ever do business with Advantage Auto Direct and if you know what is good for you and don't want to be lied to, ripped off and deal with an unprofessional and shady dealership, don't even think about entering their establishment or even worse, buying a car from them. Advantage Auto Direct is awful and swindled me by disguising the damage to paint that by covering up hundreds of chips in it due to some sand/wind storm of rocks and or acidtic bugs {love bugs in FL} know to eat the paint off the car. Terrible experience. I filed with BBB & the State of WA to try and get Advantage Auto Direct to be accountable for their deception and fraudulent practices. In the meantime be aware they will stop at nothing to deceive you into paying more than a vehicle is worth buy masking over or a problem so you will not notice until it's already yours. Mechanical or appearance... nothing can protect you from what the true condition of vehicle is when they they will go any length to cover up a existing issue. They have all the tricks in there bag and have no qualms using them. I this review helps someone out there. Take your business elsewhere, or suffer the consequence like I have. My experience with Advantage Auto Direct; We purchased a 2017 Ford F150 after scheduling an appointment to view the see/drive the vehicle. When arriving for the appointment Darren the salesman brought up the truck from the back and it appeared flawless in appearance with no visible damage to the Paint. The truck was near perfectly clean and gleamed like a new vehicle in a showroom. We were impressed. Once we got the truck home and washed it a few days later hundreds of small paint nicks and chips down to the metal below became exposed. Evidently this truck had been sandblasted by tiny rocks in a dramatic event, perhaps behind a truck with load sand/little rocks, or in a windstorm, or in some dynamic condition or fashion. We noticed there was white substance that filled in these chips that washed off with soapy water, and it was only then we could see the damage. It dawned us that the dealer must have applied some product {smoke and mirrors tactic} that temporarily disguised the problem. I notified the salesman Darren with a phone call and after I sent him the photos of the damage he requested, he replied with a text that all Sales are final as is where is condition. My goal now is to let everyone know that this dealership, Advantage Auto Direct, has no ethics or morals and will stop at nothing to cover up a defective component of a vehicle and fraudulently pass it off to unsuspecting customers. Had the dealership offered some resolution I may feel differently. It is also noteworthy that they vehicle has a new windshield on leading edge of the hood that is applied with double sided tape so it flush against the 3 to 5 inches of front hood which i'll bet once removed will expose a high density of the rock chips thus was applied to further hide/disguise the damage read more

Initially I wasn't sure what to think of this place. Everyone has heard horror stories about dealerships and the haggle of dealing with sales and finance. I was very grateful to have worked with Andrew and Ossman who were both very upfront and honest about the process, the vehicle, and purchase. The pricing is very fair and reasonable and they went above and beyond in service. The tire of my current car actually got a flat the first time I came here and two different associates worked to fix it. I didn't even purchase a vehicle that day. Nor make a deposit on the vehicle we were looking at. I was very impressed. We went back and purchased the vehicle and again, same wonderful service and honesty. I came from Woodinville to Kent, made an appointment with David G. to look at a truck I was 99% sure to buy. Got there a little early with my wife and saw my name on the board as you walk in with the truck I wanted to see. Sat down and David wanted to confirm that was the truck I was looking at to which I said yes. He then asked if there were other F150's I looked at which I said yes but nothing that stood out. That's when he told me it was sold about a half hour before I got there. I'm sure this is a decent place as there are a lot of good reviews but I made an appointment that morning with David to see a specific truck so in my mind it was a verbal commitment. If all sales people play from the same pool of vehicles why ask potential customers to make an appointment? At the very least let people know who do make an appointment that there's no guarantee that the vehicle you want to look at and possibly buy may already be sold by the time you get there. We wasted our time and gas for nothing. I wouldn't say this is necessarily a reflection on any one individual more so than it's bad organization, management and selling practices. I would like to share my horrible experience with this company. I bought a F-150 Lariat 2018 with 69000 miles or so, which looked to be in great condition, but after about 2000 miles of driving I noticed a noise in the engine that didn't seem normal. So I took it to FORD to do a spec , there they found a recall not done and to do it they will charge because the miles were over the limit for them to cover . Good thing I did was pay for an insurance that they offered me , because that insurance paid for all the service which was around 8000 dollars . After all that, this truck started to make another noise in the engine louder than before, I took it again at Ford and they said the turbo on the left side should be replaced and the service would be around 3000 dollars. But this time the insurance does not want to pay the full service. Leaving for me to pay about 900 dollars to do the service. Last Saturday 10/09/2021 I called the seller who sold me this truck and he said he was going to talk to the insurance. So far I don't have any answers "and no truck '' - I bought this truck in July2021 and I still haven't driven 5000 miles on it because of all these problems. This is the worst deal I've ever done in my life. Now I understand! I bought a truck to fix it first! Then after, I can use it . This is this is very frustrating. read more

Danielle was great to work with. I did my research before going in and knew the truck I wanted to look at. The trade-in value was fair and matched KBB and they did not nickel and dime me on everything....to include the dog hair. I do not like BS and bait and switch and I did not experience any of this. I did buy the GPS...tbd if it is worth the $ or not since I initially had issues with the unit. I am sure if my truck was stolen and recovered quickly, it would be worth the $. I hope to not find that out. They have a great selection and competitive pricing. One point of feedback is that I do wish they knew more about the services that occurred outside of Carfax. Just knowing the oil change and air filters were completed would be helpful. Not sure if they do these services on their vehicles before putting them up for sale. My impression is that they inspect and do not necessarily service their vehicles. Either way, I recommend them and recommend working with Danielle. read more
