Had a decade-long "relationship" with a well known, reputable plumbing company I won't mention here. Thought they were great. Trusted them. Called them every single time there were issues, which was not infrequently in this older house. Paid them to do routine maintenance in January of this year, which included (they say) cutting roots which are definitely an issue in my pipes. I don't blame the plumber for the fact that roots love the pipes. But the toilets overflowed again in February, and again in April, and again this week. I made an appointment with Advanced Trenchless, knowing that they have cameras and could tell me, once and for all, what's going on. Arthur Pacheco came out and immediately set me at ease with his friendly, intelligent manner. He told me what he was going to do, approximately how long it would take, and got to work. First he cleared the pipes with a camera so that he could put the camera through and take a look at what was going on. Then he showed us on a monitor how the pipes directly under the house are clay and infiltrated with roots. The roots have been growing for at least a year, possibly longer, which coincides with when my serious plumbing issues began. In other words, my plumber has been charging for work that was not done, times at least two years. Arthur explained that the expensive, long fix solution would be to replace the clay pipe by taking up the floor and cutting into the concrete slab. Eventually I will do that. But the short-term fix (which my old plumber should have been doing all along) is to cut out the roots with a 300 3" blade and follow up with root-ex (which my plumber also never applied -- until yesterday, when confronted with the video results.) So many companies would have urged me to pay the money up front for the long term fix, but Arthur said it was just as reasonable for the time being to cut roots and follow up with root-ex. That could buy me another 5 years. I'm now a customer of Trenchless. I regret that this very positive review is intertwined with a comparison to another company, but it is probably not uncommon that Advanced Trenchless is called because someone is feeling distrustful of their "regular" plumber. I have to say that Arthur Pacheco handled the situation beautifully, neither defending the past work nor trying to condemn it. read more

We have a very long (~400 foot) sewer line under our driveway with trees growing alongside the whole way. Very impressed with Advanced Trenchless. Showed up on time, video'ed my pipe, told be exactly what needed fixing (root intrusion on either end of a 5' section of pipe right under my front yard). Gave me an estimate on fixing it without even trying to bill me for the inspection. A few days later I decided to sign up for the service as outlined. They showed up at 8:00am sharp on repair day, and had it done and looking great by the end of the day. I just got my estimate about two weeks ago. I needed the work done asap because of a medical condition, and having to clean out the line almost every week. One week later, last Friday, Sept 15, they came at 7:30 am and by 6:30pm they were done. They came prepared with a whole crew, worked hard and made sure the project was done by the end of the day. They were very accommodating. They seem to have a good working relationship with the Vallejo District. The District just came by and approved the project. Very pleased with their work and the price was great compared to the amount of work they had to accomplish. Just a reminder, get your project approved first with the Vallejo Sanitation District, if you live in Vallejo, and then hire Advanced Trenchless for a great job. These guys are fantastic. Extremely well organized, responsive, and diligent. They have what appears to be the latest technology. They installed a new sewer later for me, and it's basically impossible to even tell they were there. And I just got a call from them telling me they accidentally over-charged for the permit fee since I'm technically in a different city than their initial records show; so they're refunding several hundred dollars. From my initial phone call to the spotless condition of my yard and guest room, I couldn't be more satisfied with this company! Yesterday, I hired a different company to come out for a sewer line maintenance cleaning. They hit resistance in the line, used a camera scope, saw water and told me that it means I had a broken sewer line and needed to replace it, which would cost thousands of dollars. A neighbor had recently used Advanced Trenchless, so I called them for a second opinion. Kevin was my technician and he reported that my line was backed up and needed a cleaning. Interesting, since that is what I paid a different company to do yesterday. I decided to pay Advanced Trenchless to clean it this time, in hopes it would be done right. Kevin was super diligent and committed to getting it handled, which involved him cleaning out my line twice, as it was blocked with tree roots. He removed the roots and the line is all clear now. The best news, using his camera scope, he determined that there were NO breaks in my sewer pipe as the other company reported. The company I previously called either tried to take advantage of me, was lazy or negligent. Whichever the case, Advanced Trenchless earned my respect and trust. Our house has had Maine sewer line problems for years! Knowing that it isn't a simple, or cheap problem to fix, we put it of for a good long while! When there's multiple backups in just 1 weeks time, we knew that "it was time!" We called 7 different companies out for quotes, and Lord were they all "different." Every company had varying degrees of pricing, as well as varying degrees of expertise. What we found was, company's that did Trenchless Only, had the best price, as well as the most knowledge. We decided to go with Advanced Trenchless because of our interaction with Michael. The questions he answered, the confidence he spoke with, as well as the things he did while he was inspecting our issues, was above and beyond what the competition had to offer. None of the 7 companies that came out inspect our sewer line as well as the cities portion. Not one of the other companies explained, or justified their price when asked. Every company asked for money up front, quoted a 3 day job, but Advanced not only asked for zero deposit, they also quoted a 1 day job! Jacob and his team did an AWESOME job at our house! They were fast, efficient, and did a superb job of cleaning up. They had to dig through our brickwork to get to the problem. Ryan Charles the owner returned my call for an estimate the next business day and came out the following day to view and scope the upper and lower lateral. The next week they set a date and showed up on time to begin the job. My goodness they did a fantastic job which included the lower lateral that Vallejo San and Flood had also approved for replacement at the District expense. They truly left our property in better condition than when they arrived. The crew took extreme care in cleaning up their work area and really appropriate time was spent sponging the concrete work as well. After Ryan inspected our 300 ft long sewer line from the house to the city sewer line, we decided that he would be the one to replace our broken line. What locked the deal was the offer to come anytime if the sewer backed up while we wait to be on the schedule for the job. Our existing sewer line was the route in which the new sewer would follow by inserting the new pipe into the old pipe while slicing it the old pipe open and away. Great technology. This only works if the old pipe has no up and down shifts along its length. We just installed pavers where the first clean out lay, but Advanced Trenchless crew laid all the pavers back down perfectly! The second clean out was relocated on the driveway so they installed a flat metal cap that would be easy to access. The final connection became a challenge due to the mystery on how it was connected to the city line. Ryan has enough experience to know what to do and this was only a small obstacle. The crew made sure the construction would not irritate the neighbors since the one lane street would be blocked by trucks, material, and crew. When I came back from a trip after the project was done, I was amazed on how clean the street and the house was. read more

We have had issues with our sewer line from the house to the street since we moved in 13 years ago. Usually every 8 months I would have to have it snaked to clear out tree roots and blockage. We finally decided to replace the clay pipes and had another person come quote and we said we wanted to have it done. Phone calls, voice messages, they never called back. Just a brief note to add to all the 5-star reviews this company has accrued to date. Whether from the point of view of professionalism, customer service, or timeliness, these folks ought to be the gold standard. Ryan came out to check out the sewer drain from a toilet in our poolhouse. In short order he found the problem, part of the cap from cleanout removal by and earlier sewer company visit had fallen into the drain and partially blocked it. After clearing the obstacle and running a videocam 160' to the main sewer in the street, no other problems were found (invading roots, etc). All of this done in under 20 minutes and no charge. Have no question about referring anyone to the Company. A quality act! Too bad there are so few of these around these days. read more

We called this company after another company had spent 3 days trying to unplug our very long sewer line. We were looking at spending 18K because they thought we had a broken line about 16 feet deep. I don't blame the other company because years ago we had another company tell us that it was going to break. They came out to give us an estimate on the job because the other company was going to have to get OSHA approved, so they recommended calling Advanced Trenchless. The short story is they put the camera down and boom our problems were over. The company that put in our sewer line had put a pee trap 16 - 18 feet down, no one can explain why that was done but that has been the issue all these years. They cleaned out our line and charge us nothing because they came out to give us an estimate and because they needed the camera to give us a good estimate they inadvertently cleared the line. We were more than willing to pay for their services but they said no. Even if they charged we would be writing letting everyone know what professional team they are. read more

Advanced Trenchless was recommended to me by my plumber as my lateral sewer line was cloggimg every few months due to root intrusion. They came out and did an inspection of the line at no cost and confirmed that the roots were the problem and that I could continue to have it cleared every few months or have the lateral replaced. No pressure at all to replace the line. The uncertainty of when the sewer line would back up was not something I could live with, so I chose to have the line replaced.
