I suffered inside plumbing problems for 3 weeks and found the companies Rodeo Sanitary works with and ran them all through Yelp. I was advised to get 3 estimates for a replacement lateral. Easier said than done. One company never returned my call, one was 1.5 hrs late for a confirmed appointment. The 3rd kept saying he couldn't estimate unknowns and there would possibly be add-on costs. In fact add-on costs were mentioned 3 times! And he wanted to match my 1st estimate. For the later. For 3 weeks I suffered problems....then I called Sewer Works. What a pleasant experience! A price was quoted and was firm and truly was what I paid. Both the owners were so compassionate and knowledgeable. When I finally signed their contract, it went so fast! I'm proud to say I am sewer-problem free. Later I was at a local business and the owners name came up--a sterling experience they had and I had no idea. The foreman, Jose, was competent, courteous and hard-working. We had to have a new washer drain installed across our paver driveway and our landscaped front yard. We were told by plumbing services that we would have to have a pump installed. Fernando and his crew installed a gravity drain. They also replaced our sewer pipe which we decided to do at the same time as it was cracked. There's a reason they have 5 stars. Do not do as I initially did, i.e. be pennywise and pound foolish. I initially called Sewer Works after getting some dubious info from a local, well regarded plumbing company. I was pleasantly surprised to reach Linda. Unlike the other places, where the people answering phones did not know anything about the actual work, Linda was knowledgeable and gave the other plumbing companies the benefit of the doubt as to what they told me was needed. After our phone call I wanted to have Sewer Works inspect the line, but admittedly was a bit put off by the inspection fee, since so many other sewer lateral companies will do initial inspection at no cost. Well let me tell you, that fee is nominal and more than worthwhile. After getting a 3rd ridiculous estimate, I kept thinking about how knowledgeable and helpful Linda had been on the phone. And once the local plumber came back with a bid that claimed I needed a new line to a detached structure to pass the PSL test, and they would not put in that line without an ejector pump for total cost of $12k, I finally had the sense to call back Sewer Works. So glad I did. Fernando came out the same day, spent a good amount of time opening and looking at ALL the cleanouts, and told me he thought he could get the line to pass with minor adjustments, and he did. The total cost with some replaced couplings was less than the other places wanted to charge just for the PSL test. Do not be pennywise and pound foolish and balk at the initial inspection fee, as I did. In the end Sewer Works got the job done for literally 1/4 of the estimated price of two other companies, and in way less time, than anyone else I called. I absolutely recommend them. read more

We live on a hillside, and the sewer goes downhill from the house to an easement with no access for construction equipment. Over 2 days, they hand carried everything down about 75 steps, hand excavated, and then burst the sewer with no glitches. These folks are responsive, fair, and highly technically qualified. Sewer Works did a fabulous job replacing my sewer lateral (trenchless) and trenching a new sewer tie-in for my main house. The whole Sewer Works crew worked efficiently, were professional and friendly, and all for a very reasonable price. Plus it's nice to work with a local family-owned and run business. Sewer Works was recommended to me by a friend to do a sewer line inspection. Fernando came out and did the inspection a few days after I called. We had a situation where we needed to replace our sewer lateral and we needed to do it at a fair price as soon as possible. We talked to a number of plumbers/sewage contractors. I would highly recommend Sewer Works, Inc. to anyone who needs repair or replacement work done on their sewer line. Mine was broken on the bottom near the sewer main under the middle of the street and I opted to have the entire sewer lateral replaced, approximately 60+ feet. Fernando Brazil came out the same day I contacted his wife, Linda, about my dire situation with the sewer line backing up. The very next day, I signed a contract that Linda had drawn up The public utility people came out the next day and marked their lines on the street and sidewalk. The work began soon afterwards and was completed in the early afternoon of the same day. Everything was so organized and moved rapidly forward.
