I just had P & R Septic Systems evaluate and repair a problem with my septic system. They found that there were roots blocking the line from the tank to the leach field and they were able to repair it quickly. They also discovered some minor damage to the outflow fitting on the septic tank and are going to repair it after I have the tank pumped. They put a cleanout on the line to the leach field too. The whole experience was easy and as enjoyable as a septic repair could be. The crew was pleasant to work with, extremely skilled and when they were done it was like it never happened. Great communication, they show up when they say they will and they seem to enjoy their profession. Highly recommended. read more

Mark, Matt, and their crew were a pleasure to work with. Matt was on-site for a leach field inspection promptly, and was able to quickly diagnose the problem (tree roots). Matt provided a very reasonable quote and replaced the leach field with a new type of system with a 24" diameter chamber. The work was completed as planned, and the cost was proactively reduced from the original quote after it was determined that a permit was not required. After the new lines were installed, Matt and his crew repaired all the severed irrigation pipes (the leach field is under a lawn), regraded the soil, and rebuilt the access gate and fence that had to be removed for equipment access. As another reviewer said, I wanted to pay extra due to their awesome work ethic, customer orientation, and quality work. read more

I had to replace my ~40 year old septic tank and leach lines. For anyone who is familiar with this process, and as I learned, this is a pretty big job and requires lots of attention to detail. I rec'd a couple of quotes and went with Mark at P&R Septic. Interestingly, I corresponded with him on the phone and through email but never actually met him. He pulled the permit, replaced everything and even took pictures so I could see what was going on since I could not be on site. He did a great job, very professional, and everything seems to be in good shape (it's been about a year since he did the work and there hasn't been any issues). I appreciated Mark's communication with me during the process and he never rushed me into anything. A good guy and team. read more

The septic tank at my recently purchased house needed to be replaced. It was initially installed years ago before the garden was landscaped with walls that made it impossible to access the septic site. Mark and Matt came up with a creative solution that enabled the tank to be replaced, and their team was professional, friendly and stopped to explain what they were doing when I had questions. The job was completed in a timely fashion and left my property as neat and tidy as they found it. I heartily recommend P&R Septic services. I told Matt it was a pleasure to work with them but hoped I'd never have to see them again! read more

Last Saturday our septic system failed. We called the same vendor in Napa we always call and it took them 5 days to show up. They confirmed that the pump to the leach field went bad and that our tank is full, which means we can't use the house anymore. Emergency you would think? Not! They told us they can't come the next day and of course not over the weekend and would not commit to Monday. "I didn't hear back from this" and "I dont' know if we can get this pump" and "he didn't call me back yet." My neighbor heard about the situation and asked if I called Mark from P&R. Once I realized that that the "other" folks basically dropped the ball on us I called Mark. 24 hours after that call we are up and running with a new pump and a brilliant fresh setup (as much as you can use those words to describe a septic system.) Yes, Mark and his crew were busy. As you can see from the previous review it's not like they were sitting around doing nothing. Yet, Mark seems to be able to recognize emergencies, organize priorities, stay in-touch with the customer and do as he promises! His crew was here this morning, on-time, professional, courteous, and left the job site clean and in great shape. The estimate provided was as fair as it gets. Makes you feel like paying extra, not to mention spread the good word. P&R Septic System are now our default vendor for our septic system and I would recommend them to anyone in the Napa area. read more

Mark, the owner, bid on our septic removal job and gave us a fair price and did the job on time and within the original budget even though there was more work than he anticipated. I am having him bid on our new septic install. read more

Mark, came up promptly and on time to bid the job. Their price was reasonable, and their job execution was really first rate. Joel and Matt were professional, and thorough, including the cleanup. I doubt I'll have any more problems with my sewer basin system any time soon. read more

Mark and his team were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We were selling our home and found we had a cracked septic. They quickly took care of us with very minimal (almost none) damage to our yard and at a very reasonable price. Mark took care of the permits and quickly responded even though he was dealing with clean-up from the earthquake. I would definitely recommend P & R septic. read more

P&R replaced our tank for a fair and reasonable price which was nearly half of what Napa Septic quoted. They were thorough, knowledgeable, on time, and easy to work with! We appreciate the effort made to provide us with service that exceeded our expectations! Thank you Matt & Mark read more

I was having trouble with mosquitoes around my place. Turns out the septic tank behind my property was not properly sealed. I contacted P & R when I founded them on Yelp. True to their reviews, they were incredibly quick to respond and even more so, quick to help me fix the problem. Both Mark and Matt did not go around the bush, they knew how to fix it and did it quickly. They were both incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Soon after the septic tank issue had been fixed, I requested their help with a side project. They were happy to help and they had the job done in less than a day! Even more importantly, it was done correctly. They were also very reasonable with their prices. In a nutshell: I would be happy to recommend them again, any time, anywhere! read more

P & R gave us the best price and I was 100% satisfied with the whole process. We replaced our septic tank & leach lines. P & R is a family owned, small local company and they take pride in their work and customer satisfaction. They let you know what is happening and they make sure you are happy with the replacement of all surface improvements damaged by the work. They are also good at submitting the permit application and working with the local government inspectors. read more

We needed our septic system rebuilt after our home was destroyed in the fires. Our lot is not large. This made it necessary to have the septic done before reconstructing the home. P & R worked with the county to get approval. After the home is complete, the septic is ready to connect. They are a friendly and helpful team. Workmanship is good. Thanks P & R. read more

This is the place. These are the guys. Start with the best and finish with the best. Mark was on site within two hours of my calling for their company to come have a look at my problem. Mark is a no nonsense and discerning professional... His son and crew were out later that day and after two 1200 gallon systems in three days I am thrilled by the detail, quality, speed of what I'd thought a rather large project, and fair price. These guys replaced the old systems with new and up to date gear the right way in THREE DAYS! If you have septic problems you can waste your time and effort leaking like a bad tank or maybe just call Mark and the boys and don't worry about a thing... They will have it handled the right way and they won't rip you off or spin you around... read more

Our septic system was backing up and unfortunately it had all the earmarks of being a bigger job than just pumping the tank. The best call I ever made was to P & R Septic Systems. They identified the exact problem, dug up the bad lines and replaced them, installed new raised covers, and did it all for such a competitive and reasonable price. No trying to oversell me or scare me into replacing the whole tank - they just did a great job, at a great price. It's always scary when a septic problem turns out to be a lot bigger than expected, but Mark was so professional and confident in his assessment of the situation and his crew so skilled and fast, I couldn't have had a better experience. Our septic works great now, and I always recommend them to neighbors and friends. P & R Septic is the best! Thanks Mark! read more

These guys are the best. Mark and his crew are honest, fair, and hard working men with a great work ethic. This is a great company

When the toilet starting gurgling, I had no idea where the septic tank was located, or who to call. You see, my mother passed in 2014 and we had not discussed important details like where and when was the last time the septic tank had been pumped. I grabbed a phone book and started calling septic service companies. P&R Septic Systems are the folks to call, period. You don't need to waste your time making any other calls! These guys came out promptly (on a weekend) to assess the situation and locate the septic tank. Mark (Owner) and Matt (son) are patient, professional, and go the extra mile. They turned a difficult situation into a paws in the dirt, get her done deal in no time. I can't thank them enough and recommend their services to family, friends, even total strangers! These are the good guys - use them and you will know what I'm talking about. read more
