But it's also a testament that after almost a year in, we've had no issues whatsoever. From the site survey to Final inspection by the City, Ryan and team was there every step of the way. I'm not going to attempt to repeat what's already been said in all the 5 star reviews (which are all correct, but also repetitive). I am offering an alternative view if skepticism remains. The ultimate reason why we chose Saber Roofing, over other quotes that were at or below his quote, was because of the negative reviews. Stay with me here. When you have a multi-decade longstanding business, it is statistically impossible to maintain 100% satisfaction. If you want to understand trustworthiness or how the inner workings of a company is run at a glance, one must look at how the unsatisfied customers were dealt and treated. In all recent cases, you will see each and every claim was handled with compassion and respect with an intent to understand the issue, correct and better themselves going forward. That, IMO, is the hallmark of a great business to deal with. After starting the job, they solidified that hypothesis as I observed the attitudes & dispositions of those working in the "trenches" (or roof in this case). Everyday that the team showed up, all carried great smiles with positive team banter and a general sense of happiness being on site. This only happens when employees are treated well and with respect. We have dealt with numerous home projects in the past and can tell you this is a rarity. Will Saber Roofing be the lowest bid in your search? Probably not. Will they provide you the best quality and service? You bet.

I contacted several roofing and gutter companies to get estimates for a few projects. I am very…read morehappy that I chose Saber Roofing for plenty of reasons. 1) The owner, Ryan, met with me to discuss the work and was very thorough and helpful in answering all my questions. 2) Important details were covered including adding a rain chain in a location where a downspout would have been unsightly (picture attached). Among the details, the rain chain is made of copper while the gutter is made of aluminum. Having these two metals come in contact could compromise the aluminum over time. So, Saber installed the copper rain chain with a protective barrier. 3) Their client service and sales director, Jake, was super helpful and extremely responsive to all my questions. 4) The crew was very efficient, provided high quality workmanship, and left the site spotless. 5) The gutter guards that were installed provide a really fine barrier to prevent even small debris from entering my gutters, but are easy to rinse so that fine particles can be washed through the gutters. 6) The two downspouts that were installed were matched to the color of our trim. Other companies offer limited colors or simply white downspouts, but Saber offers a wide variety. 7) Their pricing is very competitive. From end to end, this was a great experience and I highly recommend Saber Roofing.

They shout to each other across the roof and in general, have no constraint at all. They leave their heavy equipment on the street and daisy chain extension cards to run cheap residential fans overnight. The quality of their work remains to be seen, but considering they don't seem to make enough to hire a professional crew or buy appropriate tools (like nail guns or industrial fans), I would say that they are not so popular. Pick these guys if you want a sloppy and noisy job site and the annoyed neighbor's that they bring to your block. I would have given them a -5 if the option were available.

I chose them for 2 major reasons. 1) they were going to deal with the scheduling of the removal and réinstallation of our solar panels. And 2) Shahar was so kind, informative, and honest during our consultation. He was through and kept us updated every step of the way. When our project finally started the crew were so respectful and kind! We found way more damage than we expected which resulted in our quote going up. However, due to Shahar being honest at the consultation we knew this was a possibility so it wasn't super shocking. The crew was great at cleaning up at the end of every day, which we appreciate as we have chickens, ducks, a puppy and cat as well as a child who are outside. When the project was done, there were a few concerns we had, we talk to Shahar and he quickly corrected and had the crew fix the items. Our roof is beautiful and will hopefully last many many years to come. I am thankful we went with Apollo Roofing and Happy Shahar was our project manager.

They were patient, scheduled extra visits, and made sure everything was finished to our liking before wrapping up. Solid communication, professional crew, and great customer service. Would definitely recommend them.

He also answered all of my questions patiently which I appreciated. The house had a leak but it was hard to tell where the leak was coming from so I figure it's better to do a tile reset to resolve the current issue and to prevent any future issues from coming up (especially since the last time the roof was worked on was quite recent and it didn't seem like a good job was done). Got a quote in early August, thought it was reasonable but the job didn't start until 2nd week of September and wrapped up around the end of September. In terms of workmanship and cleanup, the crew did a great job. Applying for permits and inspections were handled nicely as well. Overall, a pretty good experience with this roofing company.

Not a bad result in the end, but had a few problems getting there…read more When I bought this house recently, my window sill a was covered with some kind of spongy caulk-like material, and it was deterioraing. I was looking for someone who could rebuild the sill before I went out of town for two weeks. EM came out quick and got to work. One of the workers asked if they could use metal on the sides of the work area instead of stucco because the sides were also composed of the same caulk-like material. Based on that, I said ok. This was on a Friday and they said they would be back on Monday to finish the job. When I arrived back from vacation two weeks later, the job was unfinished and leaking. It took another two weeks to get them back out to finish, even after letting them know it was leaking. They didn't cover the area so I had to go on the roof and put a tarp over it. They also left the window trim sitting on the sill soaking wet. Later after reviewing the before photos and talking to my other contractor I found out that that the sides were indeed stucco. I feel like they mislead me to take a shortcut, despite our contract stating the sides would be stucco.

Nobody is ever ready to drop a 5 figure dollar amount on a roof, so you'd better find someone you are absolutely comfortable with. After trying to learn as much as I could about roofing, there are three shingle companies that certify their installers : GAF, Certainteed and Owens-Corning. Knowing if you went with their certified installers, a 20+ year warranty would be applied to the workmanship and materials. I sought out a couple of these companies, and decided on trusting a local smaller company, with less salesmanship and less overhead. The world of roofing is huge, as I got bombarded with more than 10 companies reaching out for business. Many specialize in just roofing, others are general contractors that do siding and other constructions . I just wanted a company that's sole business is roofing. This company is Pro Roofing. I got quotes from a large company's salesman with a perfect portfolio and also quotes from a cheaper non -certified , but licensed roofer. Sam's quote was middle rung, and but provided high quality materials. Sam and his crew do wonderful work. Communication is key. They showed up on time, and kept all the appointments. They also took care of the roofing permit. We did a couple of walkthroughs during demo, wood repair, installation and the final inspection. What you need to remember is that after tear off of the old roof, the wood decking hidden underneath the old shingles may need to be replaced, which may incur additional charges that Sam's company charged a very reasonable price. Prepare yourself. Pro roofing has exceeded my expectations. I would NOT hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

He's also simply a really nice person who is easy to talk to. When you're trusting someone with your home, those qualities matter just as much as technical skill.
