playing phone tag between their pharmacy that they sent the prescription to and their medical office. NOONE ANSWERS THE PHONE...
Ellen C.

Never have I waited this long to get my prescription after a doctors visit. Getting in touch with someone in the offices is near impossible. I have a infant with a rash broken out and they could not get me the medication needed. Called multiple times back and fourth playing telephone tag between pharmacy and their office trying to get this medication. This is the lack of care.. almost a week already still no answer. Definitely will not be returning. This is outrageous. update: STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CALL FOR THE MEDICINE... I GIVE UP... THIS PLACE IS SUCH A SCAM.

URGENT WARNING & ADVICE: If you or anyone you know has been recommended Mohs surgery for skin cancer removal at any Advanced Dermatology PC (ADPC) office, I encourage you to immediately download the free and easy-to-use Mohs Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) app to verify if Mohs is/was truly necessary for your case (https://www.aad.org/member/publications/apps/mohs). If the app shows it is/was not indicated, I encourage you to submit a complaint form to the New York State Department of Health Office of Professional Medical Conduct (https://health.ny.gov/forms/doh-3867.pdf). In my opinion, both ADPC offices I went to gave the impression that their business model prioritizes Mohs surgery over potentially simpler, less invasive, and less expensive alternatives. What started for me as a lesion that was approximately 3mm in diameter became a medical nightmare I am still dealing with almost three years later with multiple rounds of painful, stressful, and expensive scar revision elsewhere (see photos). As a patient, I felt disrespected and disregarded. As a medical professional myself, I was aware of several key mistakes by all three doctors (Dr. Zoila Flashner, Dr. Aza Lefkowitz, and Dr. Jing Bai Qin) who treated me at ADPC, which I believe contributed to the terrible scar and immense personal stress I've been through. I am writing this to warn others of their practices and to hopefully prevent anyone from going through what I did.

I would give zero stars if I could. She put Botox in my jawline and ruined my smile. Then to make matters worse, she gaslighted me and was rude. She said not to worry, it will go back to normal in 3-4 months. I had a normal smile that she ruined. This is me just trying to smile now. DO NOT use her for anything cosmetic! BEWARE.

This is the second office that they send you to for laser treatment get ready to walk

Been here before its extremely slow , they hire new people all the time. The office sends threatening messages about 50 dollar charge if you're late but wont acknowledge your in the office. This is my second time here and guess what they didn't follow up what was told to me on the first visit. I was told hey we dont take your insurance and you gotta see the doctor before you do your laser treatment ok fine saw the doctor he said / staff assured id be able to use the money i paid outta pocket for the office visit which was 4 mins tops. ( 40 dollars credit so id be paying 160 for the laser) nope this time i came the staff didnt know what i was talking about . I am only here because they have the laser that i need for this hemangioma on my face. Wtfffffffffff it took me a while to just process this visit it. Everything is money and nobody knows nothing just hey did you pay and remember if your wasting their time its 50 dollars if i come and nobody aka staff is not even ready for patients where the f is my money ?

I would give this place 0 star if I could, they have horrible business practices and is a very…read moreshady business. I came here at some point over 6 years ago, and recently received a letter (at an old address that thankfully the person still had my contact). It was a bill IMAGINE getting a bill after 6 years of your treatment, I had health insurance of course but at this point it's hard to claim back the money and discuss with my insurance because it was so long ago Not to mention, the bill had a very generic description and I don't even recall ever getting that services. Now I'm getting mail saying I have to pay within 30 days or they will send it to collections, imagine if i never got the mail ... then your credit would be destroyed by simple negligence that this practice has Save yourself the headache, the clinic itself is not good, they didn't solve my problem after coming here for like 2 years and their business practices is even worst. If you don't want your a random medical bill to show up and destroy your credit 5-10 years after service, I recommend you go elsewhere Edit 1 (The business responded to me on Google maps): The business commented "It was your responsibility to pay what you owed 6 years ago, wasn't it?". This is exactly what is wrong with the business and why you should avoid them, they admit no fault on their side, blames YOU for their negligence, and thinks they are in the right. I have no problem paying what I owe, the issue is with this business's complete negligence towards timely billing for their services and then subsequent agression to make you pay. It almost seems like they intentionally bill you more than half a DECADE later just so you can't dispute any bill they give you because what health insurance provider would let you despite a bill that old? To clarify cause it seems like you didn't bother reading my original review or you didn't understand it, my issue is 1) your practice does not do timely billing evident by the half a decade late billing 2) when you do bill half a decade later, you don't provide clear documentation of what services was provided nor is there anyone I can talk with about such charges 3) if I moved addresses and now live somewhere else, there is no way for me to have received the bill and then it would've went to collection, permanently destroying my credit because of YOUR NEGLIGENCE Stop the blaming, stop making excuses and do better. This was clear negligence on your side and your refusal to admit wrong is the issue

Beware!!! Avoid at all cost. Only care about money. Asked me…read morefor co-pay even though I told them that we have met our out of pocket expenses for the year. Front desk has no clue what they are doing. Rude receptionists, don't understand proper english. They don't admit they are wrong. Very bad experience! Please avoid.

1. You mentioned that the "consideration and effort" is generally very well appreciated by…read morepatients. But when I researched the eye drops you prescribed me, there were research/clinical studies that showed patients who had their WHOLE face turned red/destroyed by this product. 2. You mentioned, "Treatment options for facial redness in rosacea are the same whether you consider it cosmetic or not" But after you prescribed me an eye drop and I came back with destroyed face/worsened redness, you claimed it's ONLY for cosmetics, which means that I should ONLY use it when I need it for cosmetic purposes, not to treat it. 4. You mentioned, "Occurrence of side effect or unwanted result is frequently seen and is NOT a mistake in care. This is also why our patients are informed to hold medication and contact the clinic right away if they develop any side effects or concerns after starting a medication." LIES. When did you ever inform me of such things, that I need to "hold medications and contact the clinic right away" if I develop any side effects or concerns? NEVER. You only told me that once I put it on, it would go away, and that was it. And due to your negligence, that was why I had developed extreme redness. 5. You mentioned, "This is an inherent part of their care and has nothing to do with age or immigration status. We certainly NEVER punish our patients for giving feedback as referred by "repercussion" in your review. So please do not make any unfounded misleading negative statement as such." I never mentioned my age or immigration status to infer that you would punish patients for giving negative feedback. Please stop twisting my words that I inferred you were punishing patients for leaving feedback to turn yourself into a victim. I'm only mentioning them ( age & an immigrant) to further emphasize the sufferings I endured due to your "care" from my difficult circumstances (young age, didn't want to speak up as an immigrant). To this day, you only care about protecting your business, blaming your customers rather than owning up to anything. What if it's your face that was permanently ruined/turned red by another dermatologist, and you have to spend the rest of your life covering it up? The first thing in patient care is DO NO HARM.
