The office is small and located inside a residential building, and the treatment rooms feel quite compact. The doctor is lovely and professional; however, the overall experience largely depends on the staff present that day. At times, the front desk team is friendly and welcoming, while other times the atmosphere feels indifferent, as though they are simply waiting for their shift to end. The experience level of the nurses or medical staff performing treatments seems inconsistent. Some staff members who have been there for several months still appear to be learning proper technique for laser hair treatments. On one occasion during my session, the laser wand was not positioned anywhere near my scalp, which was concerning. My rating primarily reflects concerns about management. There does not appear to be an on-site manager actively overseeing operations. If there is one, they are not visibly present in the office or monitoring the front desk and treatment areas to ensure quality and consistency.

The low rating is due to the unorganized manner in which patients are handled. Waited an extra 15 mins in the exam room after seeing the Medical Assistant (who was a bit unprofessional by the way) because patients with later appt times, that arrived waaayyy after me were being seen before me. Whats the point of having an appointment?!? This is highly unacceptable! In addition, when I addressed the issue with the front desk after the exam, they were baffled as to why this happened and couldn't offer any explanation..they didn't even seem to care and did not even offer an apology!! Needless to say I definitely won't be returning to this location. This place is a joke.

I was with you when you started at the bottom in that office in Great Neck,To the nicer one on the top floor of a building on 63rd drive. Now, we're here, at a hidden gem off of Yellowstone Blvd. You have your own office suite, and you have doctors working under YOU. ...and I'm still here boo. I've personally recommended countless people to his office. His staff is great, and polite. He has shown me with my own two eyes, conditions on skin that several doctors could not treat or figure out, in a matter of minutes. just by staring and poking at it. He really takes care of you, and touches you.....not in a creepy Bill Cosby way, but in a concerned doctor way .....ummm Allow me to explain myself. I have gone to dermatologists and doctors that won't touch you at all, let alone go near you. if you say; "doctor, I have this thing that started growing...." They just look at you and get skeeved out. This doctor does not. He gives a crap, he is always concerned about your health and well being. As a doctor should be. I mean for crying out loud, after a year of going to see him, my skin, hair and nails improved dramatically. I have seen him do miraculous things. Aside of being a product of his own work by fooling me into thinking he is just shy of 30, when he could be my grandfather! My jaw dropped. They do everything here you can think of. I am one happy patient. They just get very , very busy. so as much as I believe they accept walk-ins, if you do not have an appointment, depending on the day, you could be waiting a while.

The doctor didnt even look like he wanted to be there and bother with me. I work in healthcare, i work directly with patients. I would never treat them this way. The price isnt even the actual issue, it's the service received. You dont treat patients like this. Fuck this place. Never coming back. Went to another derm and got charged only $15. Staff was so nice & efficient. Doctor didnt rush me and was happy to answer my questions.

Long story short, certain remedies work for some people's types of balding and certain remedies don't work for other people's types of balding. He gave me steroid injections and topical steroid medicine to use when I didn't even need it. How I know is I got a second opinion from another doctor who was more an academic than Dr. Kleinberg. Then after getting the consultation from the second doctor I did my own research and found that I indeed did not need the steroid remedies he gave me since I did not have typical male pattern balding (androgenic alopecia). It was just my hairline balding. On top of that these useless remedies were giving me acne. When I left the appointment with the second doctor, he had himself a pitiful laugh his with his staff when I was on my way out the door after seeing him, explaining to his staff that another doctor gave me steroid injections for my hair when I didn't even need it. Super embarrassing because not only did I not need it, they sent me a medical bill for these "injections", and on each appointment they charged me for "medical examination" which did not even happen each appointment I had. If you want to run a business, fine. But if you are going to charge common people for every single dollar you can on your job then at least do the work correctly. They even had the audacity to send me many of those bills in the mail saying I owed them money for the unnecessary "injections" and the imaginary "medically exams" on top of my already expensive copay. Each bill increasing due to interest. You guys are never getting that money you billed me on top of the copay. The copay already cost hundreds. You owe me it if anything. Last thing I'll say is I work as a pharmacist which means I actually have a degree of health literacy. I can't be the only one that got taken advantage of if that's the case. Only difference is you've taken advantage of the people not as literate in this field, but that isn't their job or their responsibility, and that is why they came to you. Scammers!

For the record, I have not been asked, pressured, or bribed to update my review, I just feel it's fair to share how my experience has changed. Since then, I've been to several other facial places and estheticians, and none have compared to the quality of facials I've had at Sandra. It is undeniable that every esthetician on this team (including the one I had the negative experience with) is exceptional at giving facials. And, overtime, the positive experiences have accumulated and outweighed the negative one. Recently, I had a skin analysis with Sandra herself. She was detailed, patient, and answered every single one of my (many) questions. The products she recommended have genuinely transformed my skin -- I trust her recommendations and trust her with my skin (huge deal for me!) and am planning on doing some more intense treatments with her. Shoutout to the entire team for also remaining professional and kind to me, even though everyone clearly knows Im the one who wrote the controversial review.
