In addition, I was provided the wrong information about who to have a referral created for and I was told this only once I got in for my appointment, despite having provided the referral a week earlier. The scheduling process is in disarray and there is very little communication between the management and the patient. The fact that I cannot call the specific office where my appointment is is ridiculous. I only go here because this is where my longtime dermatologist is currently working - as soon as she leaves, I will not be back.

I said that I wasn't sure and the doctor said a nurse would come check in but no one did. She then shrugged again and said, "well if that's what the doctor said..." Why would she feel the need to say that to me since she's not even the front desk receptionist who takes the payment?? There was no care, helpfulness, a genuine smile, patient service or kindness from her. And that's uncommon, as all the staff here is usually very nice, polite, and friendly. Maybe she was just having an off morning. But still, I don't think that's a proper justification. He has also recognized the emotional component to my acne, and his observation made me reconsider how to handle stress. His receptionist is a bit strict but don't be turned off by her. She did her best to squeeze me in when I tagged along on a relative's visit. If you are looking for a derm who is no-nonsense, accurate and experienced, this is your guy.
