She took care of a medical problem I had immediately and I was very impressed with her skillful and careful application of the procedure I needed. Because she made me feel so relaxed I had the courage to discuss some cosmetic work I wanted to have done but had put off for a long time. Staff was very friendly and the offices are clean and modern. I am so happy I found a great dermatologist to take care of all my skincare needs.

I recently went for a procedure and didn't find the nurse who came into the room friendly or helpful at all. Once the doctor was done, she said to wait and the nurse would come to check in on me. She never did and when I went to walk out, the nurse gave me a weird look, almost annoyed I was still there. I asked if I'm good to go and she shrugged and said, "I guess so." I said that I wasn't sure and the doctor said a nurse would come check in but no one did. She then shrugged again and said, "well if that's what the doctor said..." She then proceeded to say, "That's $400 up front" (I was getting a cosmetic procedure.) LOL as if I didn't know what I needed to pay? Why would she feel the need to say that to me since she's not even the front desk receptionist who takes the payment?? There was no care, helpfulness, a genuine smile, patient service or kindness from her. And that's uncommon, as all the staff here is usually very nice, polite, and friendly. Maybe she was just having an off morning. But still, I don't think that's a proper justification. The doctor (afterwards, I saw her in passing and mentioned that the nurse didn't come in to check on me / let me know I'm good to leave) did say they were a bit short staffed that morning.

He prescribed Solodyn and suggested a microdermabrasion for scarring. Within a month my breakouts came to a halt. The first microderm was like a magic wand, all my dark spots were gone in that one visit. I've kept up with them every so often to keep my skin looking fresh. The price is also reasonable. The receptionist, Luz, is the sweetest lady I've ever met. Dr. Kleinberg takes a bit of warming up to, but once you get to talking with him, his personality really comes through. He is not at all rude or unprofessional, he is just very blunt. Nice guy and a great practice in Forest Hills. Highly recommended!

Long story short, certain remedies work for some people's types of balding and certain remedies don't work for other people's types of balding. He gave me steroid injections and topical steroid medicine to use when I didn't even need it. How I know is I got a second opinion from another doctor who was more an academic than Dr. Kleinberg. Then after getting the consultation from the second doctor I did my own research and found that I indeed did not need the steroid remedies he gave me since I did not have typical male pattern balding (androgenic alopecia). It was just my hairline balding. On top of that these useless remedies were giving me acne. When I left the appointment with the second doctor, he had himself a pitiful laugh his with his staff when I was on my way out the door after seeing him, explaining to his staff that another doctor gave me steroid injections for my hair when I didn't even need it. Super embarrassing because not only did I not need it, they sent me a medical bill for these "injections", and on each appointment they charged me for "medical examination" which did not even happen each appointment I had. If you want to run a business, fine. But if you are going to charge common people for every single dollar you can on your job then at least do the work correctly. They even had the audacity to send me many of those bills in the mail saying I owed them money for the unnecessary "injections" and the imaginary "medically exams" on top of my already expensive copay. Each bill increasing due to interest. You guys are never getting that money you billed me on top of the copay. The copay already cost hundreds. You owe me it if anything. Last thing I'll say is I work as a pharmacist which means I actually have a degree of health literacy. I can't be the only one that got taken advantage of if that's the case. Only difference is you've taken advantage of the people not as literate in this field, but that isn't their job or their responsibility, and that is why they came to you. Scammers!

BUT my experience was not too shabby! As it was my first time I showed up a tad bit early to fill out some paper work and was seen just as I was finished signing my name. So I guess it was quick? Any who, my experience with both the nurse and doctor were fair. The nurse seemed to be in medical school as she didn't know some of the program on the computer. No big deal. The doctor (can't remember his name...short, white guy with light hair color) was very knowledgeable. His whole body scan took 3 minutes which I found to be very odd. From my experience doctors like to take their time here. He noticed one mole that needed to have a biopsy and he cut me open like a steak from Morten's! The quick cut wasn't too bad, but the bleeding there after has now lasted over 14 hours. It was deep, but it seemed as though the nurse did not give a lot attention to sealing the wound. Needless to say, I will be coming back on a yearly basis to get a full body check up. Great service and great people. Was in and out under 40 minutes! Can't beat it, bruh.

The girls at the front desk were busy, but they were helpful and courteous. I was able to see the Dr. After 15 minutes of wait. The Dr's bedside manner was amazing! He explained everything to me. He has a light hand, I didn't feel the topical anesthesia shot, the punch cut on my skin, or the stitches. They gave me directions for the after care of my wound. My overall experience was excellent! He was the third dermatologist I have seen for this biopsy, I saw one in Los Angeles an other in Las Vegas, but Dr. Nikolides made me feel at ease and I knew I was in good hands. He has the lowest price of per visit. His office visit charge was the lowest Now I have a dermatologist I can trust. The waiting room is airy and light and open and I felt safe. Some kid came in after me, and got to see the doctor before me. I had read a review with someone mentioning something like that. What I experienced, was that the kid was in and out in ten minutes, and I got to spend a lot more time with the doctor, had some work done and felt there was no pressure for him to rush off. He gave me his full attention, the whole time I was there. I came in with a few different issues for him to look at.
