After noticing a small rash on my thigh, I scheduled an appointment on Monday morning with Dr. Wu…read moreat the 4 W 58th Street location. Dr. Wu was lovely and had great bedside manner. They took a biopsy and said my results will be ready in about a week. The next morning, I wake up and my rash has spread basically all over my body. I call Spring Street derm MULTIPLE TIMES AND LEAVE MULTIPLE CONCERNED VOICEMAILS AND NO ONE GETS BACK TO ME FOR THREE DAYS. The rash is spreading very rapidly at this point. The only way I was able to get a response from them was to physically show up to the office and demand that Dr. Wu call me at her earliest convenience. Dr. Wu called me back immediately and we set up an appointment for the following day, but no one from her staff had even alerted her of my concerns about the rash spreading. I'm really disappointed in this practice because I feel that if they had returned my calls earlier or taken my illness seriously, I wouldn't be dealing with this insane full-body rash right now. There is truly no worse feeling than dealing with an illness and feeling like nobody cares. This experience has honestly been so disheartening. The two stars I'm giving go to Dr. Wu who was great.

Skin cancer scares the hell out of folks but, if it isn't melanoma but a carcinoma the fears are not required, I have had 4 of them removed and it went just fine. I was one of the victims of the WTC cancerous substance exposure for 2 years and developed skin cancer 12 to18 months later. The PA and the doctor here were friendly and professional and made the visit not unpleasant. I guess this is my new go to dermatologist from here on.

I wasn't going to write a review about my first and last experience here, but a recent sales call…read morefrom them inspired me to share this more widely. I visited Dr Ginsberg a year ago for a small amount of botox and filler (I had previously had both in modest amounts for a natural look administered by board certified plastic surgeon). I explained my problem areas/concerns, what I had done in the past, then left it to Dr Ginsberg to make his recommendation. He suggested botox and filler under my eyes (which I had never done before) in addition to the usual locations. I trusted his advice and went ahead with it. Within a couple of days, the results were shocking. I had deep, wavy smile lines in my cheeks that were never there before and extremely alarming. Worse still, it was asymmetrical. The effect under my eyes made me look like a different person. Needless to say, I was panicking, having never asked for or experienced this before. I came back to the clinic, where Dr Ginsberg took zero responsibility for the poor results and instead explained how it was all due to MY face/muscles/tolerance etc etc. He dissolved what he could to undo the deep lines on my cheeks and under-eye filler. I left more than a little freaked out and $3k lighter for the experience. I never received any follow up or check in from Dr Ginsberg or the clinic. Zero... Until the 1 year anniversary of this experience where they called me to let me know I was probably due to come back and spend more money with them. No thanks. I get that results differ and it's not an exact science, but admit when you get it wrong. All he had to say was something along the lines of, "it clearly hasn't done what we had hoped / this isn't what it should look like / I'm sorry about the result", then show some duty of care post-visit. But, blaming me for the result, taking my money and then never following up was unprofessional and insulting.

At no point did I feel rushed. I had a few questions for him and he answered patiently and with all the details I needed. I felt like I was in good hands. For what I had done, the prices were fair and everything was explained upfront unlike other dermatologists I've seen. I would definitely come here again and see Dr. Cellura.

Dr. Melissa Levin and the entire team at Entiere Dermatology are outstanding!…read more I was referred to Dr. Levin by a friend on the West Coast as I was feeling old and in need of fresh perspective on how to best manage my skin and clear signs of aging. I first met Dr. Levin for a consultation- we talked through all aspects of the aging process, what I was hoping to achieve from an updated skincare routine, and what options would be best for me. She laid out a clear plan, the timeline associated with the recommendations, and the expected outcome of each step. And then she sent me home to consider my options - no pressure, complete flexibility. I have now been back to see Dr. Levin on at least 3 occasions for cosmetic dermatology needs, as well as for medical exams related to skin. She brings her vast knowledge and experience plus her amazing energy to every treatment. I feel completely comfortable and walk away each time a better version of myself. I highly recommend Dr. Levin and the team for your next dermatology visit,

My first impression of the office was positive. The check-in process was quick, and the office…read moreitself was clean and welcoming. Unfortunately, that's where my positive experience ended. For my initial appointment, I waited about an hour in the exam room before the dermatologist came in. Once she arrived, the visit felt extremely rushed. A lot of information was presented very quickly, along with instructions for multiple medications and products, and I never felt like there was enough time to ask questions or fully understand the treatment plan. It seemed as though the office was running behind and trying to make up time by moving through appointments as quickly as possible. I assumed it was just an unusually busy day. The following day, I called my pharmacy to check on my prescription and was told they had not received anything from the dermatologist's office. I called the office, and I was told the prescription had already been sent. Within minutes of that phone call, I received a text notification that a prescription had been transmitted to my pharmacy, and the pharmacist called me less than an hour later to let me know it was ready for pickup. I can't say exactly what happened, but the timing left me questioning whether the prescription had actually been sent before I called. The final issue was what ultimately convinced me not to return. About two and a half days before my follow-up appointment, I received a reminder text and immediately called to cancel because I knew I couldn't make it. The office has a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations made within 48 hours, so I wanted to make sure I called in time. No one answered, so I left a voicemail. When I hadn't heard back by the next day, I called again and left another voicemail. Still no response. On the day of my appointment, I called a third time and finally reached someone, who told me they had not listened to either voicemail and that I might still be charged because it was now within the 48-hour window. I explained that my first voicemail had been left approximately 56 hours before the appointment. I was told someone would review the voicemails and call me back. After waiting two hours without hearing anything, I called again and spoke with someone else who was noticeably dismissive. I was told that no one had listened to my voicemails, that I hadn't been charged "yet," and that they "did not want to give me a time" for when I could expect a callback. At this point, I no longer feel confident in the office's organization or communication. Between the long wait, the rushed appointment, the confusion surrounding my prescription, and the repeated difficulty simply reaching someone to cancel an appointment within the required timeframe, my overall experience has been frustrating. I'll be finding a different dermatologist for my future care. Update: After posting this review, I was contacted by a manager from the office who asked whether I would consider removing my review. I declined, as this review reflects my honest experience. I have since encountered another issue related to my visit. I received a bill that processed as out-of-network, despite verifying before my appointment that the office was in-network with my insurance. The provider was also listed as in-network through Zocdoc, and my insurance information was transmitted to the office through that platform. I also called and was told, yes, they are in-network and they even charged my copay during my visit. They billed me an exorbitant amount of money as out-of-network and deducted the "copay" amount from what was owed. At no point was I informed the visit would be out-of-network, or what the estimated costs would be. I contacted the office regarding the billing issue and requested a direct contact for the appropriate billing representative. Instead, I was told that someone from billing could reach out to me. Given my previous experience attempting to resolve an issue with this office, where multiple voicemails left within the required cancellation timeframe went unanswered, I was not comfortable relying on the same callback process and chose to address the issue directly with my insurance company instead.
