For the record, I have not been asked, pressured, or bribed to update my review, I just feel it's fair to share how my experience has changed. Since then, I've been to several other facial places and estheticians, and none have compared to the quality of facials I've had at Sandra. It is undeniable that every esthetician on this team (including the one I had the negative experience with) is exceptional at giving facials. And, overtime, the positive experiences have accumulated and outweighed the negative one. Recently, I had a skin analysis with Sandra herself. She was detailed, patient, and answered every single one of my (many) questions. The products she recommended have genuinely transformed my skin -- I trust her recommendations and trust her with my skin (huge deal for me!) and am planning on doing some more intense treatments with her. This review is overdue as I had my first facial with Anika nearly a month ago. Today I had my second facial with her. She's incredible at her craft and offers a thoughtful approach to your skin care needs and concerns. During my first visit, I had a deep facial with the DiamondGlow® device, a general dermabrasion device that gently removes the top layer of skin and applying topical nourishing serums onto the skin. My skin was glowing by the end of my facial. I have also been wearing less makeup. My skin over the past few months has been problematic due to poor care on my end--new jobs, life events, etc. Anika's touch and guidance has really helped me get back on track. Her tailored approach to my skin needs and concerns has definitely reflected in how my skin has been doing. Again today, I'm glowing! Been seeing Sandra since I was 16 (for 5 years) when I had really bad acne. She not only helped my problematic skin but also educated me on what I needed to eat to prevent it. Since then I have gotten chemical peels and facials from her. Every time I get any treatment done I ALWAYS see results which is super important since I am a model at Wilhelmina and rely on my skin for jobs. The facility is also very clean and cozy.
