Where do I start? I called the office in the morning to make an urgent appointment due to an emergency medical Condition. Thankfully I was able to get an appointment at 12:15 pm. I came in earlier than my appointment to check in. I told my name and I asked for a band aid (I bruised my feet on the way). Meanwhile I was waiting to complete check in, Sheryl V. said I can't have a seat because she needs to check my information first. She then continued to notify me that "you've seen a provider 2 years ago (2019), I need to see if the doctor can see you today". I told her that I used to see Dr. Merek/Merak (who moved to Greenpoint location) and last time I've seen a PA. Sheryl then notified me that my insurance number had changed and without the new card, Dr. Reinhart won't see me. I told her I wasn't aware of that neither I have a new insurance except the one that I always had. She then became even more rude speaking with me. She's like you can't see a doctor without your card. I said let me make a call to speak with my insurance and as I was on the phone with the insurance she tells me that I can't be in the office (12:19 pm) because the office needs to go on lunch. At this point, I'm baffled and completely taken aback by her continuous rudeness. I asked her for her name and she replied "why do you need to know my name?" I answered her I'll be talking to the office shortly. She tells me her name. I walked out of the office still on the phone with the insurance and they weren't sure why Dr. Reinhardt's office would refuse to see me. The insurance went ahead and told how to access my temporary new card which I had it in front of me and I showed it to Cheryl/Sheryl. She still kept saying the doctor would not see you and the representative I spoke on the phone with the insurance had heard the entire conversation and wasn't sure why the doctor would refuse to see me. I ended my insurance call with a request of mailing the card to my address which would take 7-10 business days. Minutes later, Sheryl came out with a business card saying "send your card here, I'll put you under my billing". Completely confused, I asked her "you had just kept saying I won't be able to see the doctor." She told me she'll take care of it. I then found her quite SHADY and I complained about her to the Vanguard Dermatology Office right away who said they'll notify the supervisor of that office. I was very upset that how I was discriminated despite having all the information in hand. I told the office that I can sue the office for this kind of behavior. I'd understand if I was an upset customer/patient or rude or raised my voice in any type of form. Receptionist is supposed to be the face of the face. Never had I experienced this kind of behavior from any team member from this office. Even if you have a bad day, at the end of day a reception is the face of the company/that office. Your job is to check the patients in with a smile behind the mask and kindness.

I recently went for a procedure and didn't find the nurse who came into the room friendly or helpful at all. Once the doctor was done, she said to wait and the nurse would come to check in on me. She never did and when I went to walk out, the nurse gave me a weird look, almost annoyed I was still there. I asked if I'm good to go and she shrugged and said, "I guess so." I said that I wasn't sure and the doctor said a nurse would come check in but no one did. She then shrugged again and said, "well if that's what the doctor said..." She then proceeded to say, "That's $400 up front" (I was getting a cosmetic procedure.) LOL as if I didn't know what I needed to pay? Why would she feel the need to say that to me since she's not even the front desk receptionist who takes the payment?? There was no care, helpfulness, a genuine smile, patient service or kindness from her. And that's uncommon, as all the staff here is usually very nice, polite, and friendly. Maybe she was just having an off morning. But still, I don't think that's a proper justification. The doctor (afterwards, I saw her in passing and mentioned that the nurse didn't come in to check on me / let me know I'm good to leave) did say they were a bit short staffed that morning.

Had several visits with this PA and was able to treat accordingly due to inexperienced. Provided steroids which duh - basic 101. Was not able to dig deeper into her tool box and think outside the box. Finally was so annoyed by her nonsense and had to find a more experienced with a higher degree and experience dermo outside of this facility. DE eczema and she unable to undiagnosed because I was told she has never seen anything like this skin condition before and don't know what else to do me..really??? pathetic. Finally found a new Dermo and put on Dupixent asap - lesson learned DO NOT GO TO SCHWEIGER...what a joke! not experienced. Find the pros elsewhere.

Now, we're here, at a hidden gem off of Yellowstone Blvd. You have your own office suite, and you have doctors working under YOU. ...and I'm still here boo. I've personally recommended countless people to his office. His staff is great, and polite. He has shown me with my own two eyes, conditions on skin that several doctors could not treat or figure out, in a matter of minutes. just by staring and poking at it. He really takes care of you, and touches you.....not in a creepy Bill Cosby way, but in a concerned doctor way .....ummm Allow me to explain myself. I have gone to dermatologists and doctors that won't touch you at all, let alone go near you. if you say; "doctor, I have this thing that started growing...." They just look at you and get skeeved out. This doctor does not. He gives a crap, he is always concerned about your health and well being. As a doctor should be. I mean for crying out loud, after a year of going to see him, my skin, hair and nails improved dramatically. I have seen him do miraculous things. Aside of being a product of his own work by fooling me into thinking he is just shy of 30, when he could be my grandfather! My jaw dropped. They do everything here you can think of. I am one happy patient. They just get very , very busy. so as much as I believe they accept walk-ins, if you do not have an appointment, depending on the day, you could be waiting a while.

Didnt say hi, didnt tell me who that other random guy in the room was, didnt tell me what the mole even was, and total time spent was ~1 min. The doctor didnt even look like he wanted to be there and bother with me. I work in healthcare, i work directly with patients. I would never treat them this way. The price isnt even the actual issue, it's the service received. You dont treat patients like this. Fuck this place. Never coming back. Went to another derm and got charged only $15. Staff was so nice & efficient. Doctor didnt rush me and was happy to answer my questions.

I feel comfortable with having her in charge of my face without mistakes and not feeling taken advantage of. Which I have known to be very rear. I felt that she was looking out for my skins best interest and not her wallet. Then when I explained that I had a medical emergency, the response I got was dismissive and snappy rather than compassionate. I understand policies and no shows, but tone and professionalism matter. Especially in a business centered around care and client experience. It just left a bad first impression, which is disappointing because I was genuinely excited about coming in.
