The basic facial was $40 - which included face cleansing, face steaming, black head removal, face massage with a serum, mini shoulder/head massage, face mask (not sure what type of mask, but smelled like charcoal/clay), and a heated pad for your eyes whilst doing your face mask. I learned that removing blackheads/extraction is quite different from one another. At New Hope, the basic facial includes black head removal, not a intense extraction (which was what I was expecting since this was included in my previous facial experiences). If you wanted a more intense extraction to remove any forming pimples/dirt under pores, this will cost more, which may be worth it since Cici seems very knowledge in working with individuals who has acne issues. If you're looking for a fancy/clean/quiet/peaceful ambiance, this is not the place for you. They do not have individual rooms, all the facial beds were separated by a fabric room divider, you can hear everything - from other clients talking, to someone walking into the salon. I didn't mind the noise but I wished it was more quiet. For $40, you get what you pay for. And Cici is amazing!!!! I do hope that she one day can open a larger beauty salon that offers a more peaceful environment for her future clients. But nonetheless, not too shabby for a last minute find.

The consultation was straightforward & quick--Katie thoroughly examined my skin and reviewed the high-resolution photos taken with their machine. Afterward, I was taken to a private room to sign a consent form outlining the procedure. Katie then applied numbing cream to my face, and after it took effect, she removed it and began using the laser to treat my skin. Despite the numbing cream, the treatment was still painful, and my face burned a lot afterward, which is a normal part of the process. Following the laser session, I was brought to a separate room where I used cold air and an iced face roller to cool my skin for about 20 minutes before leaving. The treatment is on the pricier side, but the results are truly fantastic--Although the procedure was painful and the healing process took about seven days, it was absolutely worth it in the end.

In May '14, I started to develop adult acne, which was so depressing. I attempted to get extractions and facials, but nothing was working. My girlfriend had been going to Piel for a few months and her skin was/ still is glowing! So I gave it a shot at the end of August '14 and it's the best thing I've done for my skin. You have to remember to be patient and stick with the regimen. There was a point where I became frustrated because I wanted quicker results. I had to remember it does not happen instantly. So, I remained patient and by January '15 (5 months later) my skin was glowing and the breakouts were pretty much non-existent! My friends have begun to ask what I do to keep my skin look so flawless. I am forever thankful for Piel's staff and regimen. Thank you, thank you!!! A few recommendations: Staff: I recommend Marcia. She made the time to talk to me and explain the options and procedures. While other establishments were too rigid with their prices and schedules, Candy gave me a good price and gave a time slot the next day. I was so excited and nervous at the same time. Since this will be my eyebrows for the next couple years! The next day I arrived. Candy welcomed me and made sure that I didn't have to worry. She drew the options for my eyebrows based on the shape of my face. Then gave me some suggestions. I accepted her suggestion and went on with the procedure. She applied numbing cream and waited for it to take effect. So i only felt minimal discomfort during procedure. Throughout the procedure she kept asking if I was ok. I felt I was in good care. I dozed off for a minute. Then I realized it's done! Candy showed me the mirror, making sure I was happy with the results. She explained the care for the next few days. She told me I could go back within 2 months for a touch up for only $30! Her service was above and beyond my expectations. I was happy with the results and will come back for sure!
