I will share details as below; On 01/20/24 - I had scheduled appointment on Tuesday (today) on 01/23/24 for 09:30 AM. (as this was a only very first appointment was available). 01/22/24 (Monday) - I did called Jason and seek confirmation for my appointment for Tuesday on 01/23/24 at 09:30 AM, as my wife has to take day off at work to meet this appointment. I did verified this with Jason and after assurance from him, my wife decided to take off on Tuesday 01/23/24 to meet appointment. 01/23/24 (Tuesday) - At 09:05 AM on Tuesday i received a call from Jason informing that due to weather they are significantly delayed as he hasn't provided serviecs to even his first customer. My spouse alredy and left the home at 08:55 AM to drive 25-minutes to this shop. Upon further asking for estimated time , he said he is unsure and can not tell me what estimated time, asked me to call my spouse to return home and if she comes to the shop, she has to wait for hours and hours. (He was unsure how long) As Jason was not giving me proper or estimated timing, I just said this is not right as; (1) I had called-verified and reconfirm my appointment 24-hours prior to scheduled visit and after assurance from Jason, my wife had took a day off at work. He said rudely said "your appointment is canceled. It's 09:20 Am & 01/23/24 (Tuesday) at present, my wife just returned home from in her way to the shop. Great experience here. I called ahead to book an appointment for a windshield replacement on my BMW X1. They had the OEM glass in stock and could get me in the same week. Upon arrival, check-in was really smooth and I was in and out in an hour. They had a small waiting room with AC and WiFi. I went during Covid and employees had masks on and didn't stay in the room with you so you had plenty of room to breathe :) It's been two weeks since my replacement and everything works great. Even though we hit a few snags (that were not their fault) they handled both professionally and kept in contact with me to let me know the status. I had a windshield replaced, and after the job was completed and they were gone I discovered a slight defect in the windshield. They ordered a new windshield and replaced it as soon as it came in. Then when a cosmetic piece of my car broke while doing the 2nd installation (stupid factory glue on an older car), they could have easily pretended it didn't happen, but they pointed it out right away, ordered the replacement part and came out to replace that as well. I had a large stone hit my windshield and a large chip resulted. After driving out to their location, and them being late to arrive for the appointment, Jason Lutsch came out to my office, and attempted to fill in the chip with polymer. After 2 attempts it was determined that the chip was too large to be filled with the traditional method. He then placed a polymer patch on the chip and sealed it this way. Currently the chip is looking much better and should hold. Jason did not charge me for the service, and I would definitely recommend his services to all others with windshield problems. I had a great experience with Advanced Auto Glass! On Sunday April 27, on my way to a car related event I noticed a crack in my windshield on my 2008 Honda S2000 CR. I am always very careful about who I let work on my car since it's a limited edition model with very low production numbers. I called Advanced Auto Glass and one of the owners, Jason, came out to the car event to take a look at my windshield. On monday morning he contacted my insurance and worked everything out so I could get a new OEM windshield and molding, which was approved with no issues. I met Jason and his brother at their shop in Schaumburg early in the morning the following Saturday, May 3rd. I specifically wanted to come on Saturday morning because of my work schedule during the week, and Jason was kind enough to work around my schedule. When I got to the shop, Jason was there waiting and immediately took my car back. The waiting room was really nice and clean. I got to watch the today show and they had several magazines to keep me busy! After they pulled the old windshield out they came and got me so I could see it, and ensure that it came out in one piece and in tact. They then put the new winshield on and used a special glue that only takes 1 hour to dry (versus other shops that use glues that take 24-48 hours to dry). The glue is important because if you leave the shop and the glue is not dry, the windshield could fly off if you get in an accident. I was very happy with the quality of their work and felt that they really respected my car and treated it as if it were their own. I would most definitely come back here again! read more
