Scouted around the Northshore looking for someone with a stellar rep and Windshield Pros is who kept coming up as the best rated so I figured I'd give them a try (Lombard). I called and explained the issue and the office manager could not have been more helpful and accommodating (she's definitely a credit to their operation). They squeezed me in 1st thing in the morning next day at their shop and the owner (I believe) himself handled things (personable, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and by all accounts truly trustworthy). He brought me into the shop to explain a few issues after assessment and was able to fix it without needing to replace all of the expensive pieces necessary. I was fully prepared to replace everything and get a new windshield and new trim pieces but after working his magic it turned out to be unnecessary for the time being. Honest, quite knowledgeable, and very good at what they do (also had an opportunity to meet a couple other techs and they were equally savvy, friendly, and obviously knew their trade). The price was more than fair, imho, and frankly I can't think of any reason why I would go anywhere else in the future for any of our 4 vehicles. Called auto glass plus based on the good reviews and they took care of working with insurance and gave me instructions on what I needed to do as well. They were able to have insurance cover OEM glass replacement which made the process smooth. The day of the repair I was running late and ended up being late for my appointment. Initially I was told I would have to rebook since there wouldn't be enough time for the repair. It was my fault, so it was fair, however one of the techs came in and said they might be able to get it done. I was thankful that they tried to work it out and they ended up being able to complete the work. So far the work seems good! The only issue was that the wiper arms were misaligned and were smacking the A pillar. I ended up adjusting it myself to fix it. TL;DR: Staff made process smooth. Tech made glass smooth.
