Mahalo nui loa, Advanced A/C Contracting! It has been a pleasure doing business with you. Chris, Alma, Duane, & Drake, you all were so professional and nice. It's you all that make your business stand out above the rest. From the very beginning, working with Chris and Alma, all emails and conversations over the phone were professional, and easy going. They were both so easy to work with. Everything went perfectly. On the day of installation, I had made a mistake on my address, so I received a call. Alma was very forgiving and said no problem. Drake and Duane came by in just a few minutes after the call. Upon arrival, Drake and Duane went to work, respecting my property by laying out floor covering where they worked and removed all the rubbish. They gathered the window they needed to remove and neatly placed all the parts on the side for me. They needed to go in and out to grab supplies from their trucks and each time, again, respectful of my house, they removed their shoes each and every time. When the installation was complete, Drake explained about my new unit and answered all questions, and said if I ever needed help to just give them a call. Drake and Duane, you were awesome! Needless to say, I give Advanced A/C Contracting and 11 out of 10! 5 out of 5, platinum stars! Mahalo nui loa to you all for making this a pleasant business experience. read more

My co-worker recommended Advanced AC for their work on her split AC because I was having some AC issues with one of my split units. I spoke to Kammie who got me an appointment later during the week. The service was great, the serviceman was professional and polite, and the price was very reasonable. Later that day, the AC started running a little warm again so I called them and Kammie sent someone to us the next working day. They rechecked everything, made adjustments and did NOT charge us. All I can say is that Advanced AC is awesome and I highly recommend them because they stand by their work 100 percent! read more

The AC in the room where my baby sleeps went HOT! Luckily, we reached out to Advanced AC Contracting who quickly came out. Ronald was very professional and seasoned (12 years). He quickly found the leak, gave great guidance, and had it fixed within an hour. This was my first experience with AC repair and I am blown away how quick it easy they made it. In addition, the pricing was awesome. My baby came nap easy again. Mahalo Advanced AC Contracting!!! read more

A huge mahalo to Advanced A/C and their team for handling a recent installation project at my Uncle's (who's in his 90's) home. Given that I live out-of-state, Kammie (Estimator & VP) was kind enough to accommodate a virtual walk through, as well as provide her recommendations for the project. From my initial inquiry call to when the project was completed, Chris (Admin Coordinator) kept us fully informed regarding the project timeline, State's rebate program, as well as other logistical coordination. Post completion, I had called my Uncle to check how things went. His exact words were, "A-okay! I would highly recommend this company! They REALLY did a good job. They put everything back where it belonged and took away all their rubbish. If anyone were to ask me about them, I would say to hire them...they're number one!" Needless to say, my Uncle is fully enjoying this added feature in his home...it has certainly added to his daily comforts! Our deepest thanks and gratitude to Advanced A/C for going the extra mile with their excellent customer service, professionalism, superior workmanship, timeliness, and truly extending the "aloha" spirit and "respect" toward my Uncle and his home. read more

Stay away. Called to buy 4 split systems, after 3 calls finally got a call back, then I was told they just got my second or third message, not my problem. Then the estimator scheduled a visit for a quote on a monday, no one ever showed up, super unprofessional, then i got a text days later saying then could come and do the estimate on their time not mine, stay the hell away!!!!! read more

I would highly recommend using Advanced A/C. We had an old central air unit that died after 20 yrs and Advanced installed a new Bosch unit. Kammie was very professional and also very helpful and creative in suggesting a new way to orientate the new unit that would make servicing in the future easier. She also arranged for us to receive an energy rebate for the unit. The crew arrived on time as scheduled and completed that work in two days. The crew were very polite and respectful of our property. They covered all the furniture exposed with plastic and used dropclothes everywhere they walked. They even vacuumed our rug after they removed the dropcloths. They also cleaned their work area in the carport and blew out the entire work area when they finished. In this day and age it is very rare to find this kind of service. We are very happy with the installation service and looking forward to having a new A/C. read more

Kammie and her crew of installers are the BEST!!! They installed quality a/c in several apartments in our high-rise condominium professionally, skillfully, efficiently, and meticulously. They covered furniture and walkways in the installation areas, and were careful to clean any debris. They calmly and expertly dealt with unforeseen obstacles during installation. They were patient and kind when communicating with elderly residents regarding operating instructions and warranty documents. I couldn't be happier with their outstanding products, work, and service. We first contracted with Advanced A/C four years ago to install 14 a/c window units in our condominium. Several companies wouldn't submit a bid because they didn't want to contend with condo House Rules and restrictions. Kammie and her work crews coordinated with the window framers to install 14 a/c units in two days. They installed 5 more window a/c units one day last week. My nephew is also a satisfied customer since Advanced A/C installed a/c throughout his Manoa home. read more

I received a reply the same day for an estimate. Estimator; owners daughter, I'm terrible with remembering names; was able to come to my house day after we spoke and received an estimate in a few days because I wanted 3 different estimates, I'm sure if I wasn't being so difficult with wanting 3 different estimates I would have received it sooner Glad I contacted them because I don't only go with knowledge, personality makes a big difference with decision making for me. She was very accommodating, personable, and knowledgeable. She answered my numberous questions. She wore her masks during the entire time. read more

Really excellent family business with a long history of providing excellent products and outstanding customer service. They installed a split system in my condo. I looked at 3 different companies and these guys were far away the most knowledgeable professional and easiest to work with. I strongly recommend. read more

We live in a tropical paradise...but with that, it can be hot and humid! I purchased my first Mitsubishi system 6 years ago when I had a one bedroom apartment. My condo rules where challenging and I got estimates from other contractors. Kammie came to my unit and immediately won my trust and sold me on their products and services. I was impressed on many levels. One - the duct work and how it would look aesthetically. Her suggestions surpassed all others. Two - how would we handle the condensation off my balcony considering the associations strict guidelines. Three - quality of unit and price. I was ecstatic with my system they installed to cool my whole unit. I have since sold that condo but purchased a home in Waipio two years ago. I really needed their help again. Last year, in Nov of 2018, I was able to contract with them for my home. I am now comfortably cool with another Mitsubishi system and a service contract too! I am a business owner that works seven days a week. I want to keep my system maintained and don't want to remember one more thing I have to schedule. They will keep track of that for me! If you are considering installing a split system - I'd call now before the summer months are upon us. In my opinion, it'll be one of the most valuable home improvements you'll spend money on! read more

My coworker told me about Advanced A/C and how he had them install a split ac in his house and his brothers house. I had been wanting to do this for quite awhile but most companies i had come out where very expensive and where pushing me to buy bigger ac compressors that i did not think i needed. So i had Kammie come out and she thought it was best i install the compressors below my main deck and mount them upon my cement wall where they would be away from from rain and off the ground all tucked away. The piping and wiring would be much shorter with her concept which I thought was a great idea one which none of the other companies ever suggested. Kammie also notice my house was not that hot and remommended only a 14,000 btu for my living room and 9,000 btu for my bedrooms which was much closer to what i had in window ac units. While she was checking out my breaker panel she noticed my one breaker was very hot and told me i needed to get this fixed asap. I asked her if she had a electrician and she said she would get ahold of him for me. The next day he was there with a new breaker and showed me where my breaker was starting to burn away. So after this i could tell kammie was a very sharp person and i could see why my co worker recommended them to me. This install went without any issues. All the conduit was perfectly done and the ac system works great and is more cold than i will ever need. Also there price was far cheaper than any one else that i had come over. I think you will be very happy with this company as i highly recommend them. read more

Got a through the wall air conditioner or one that needs to be installed through an all window wall? If so, this is the company for you! Professional, honest, responsive and efficient. Best of all they referred by a another a/c company who didn't service my type of a/c.. This should be the first company you call while you are doing your research. Judging from their website they handle all types of air conditioning systems. I am very pleased with Advanced A/C. read more

It's been over three months since my last review of Advanced AC. No return calls or any effort to solve my central AC problem. My landlord have up on them and already sent two different AC vendors to survey and provide a cost estimate to replace the entire system that Advanced AC failed to repair. I would give this company a ZERO but it's not allowed on Yelp. I do not recommend this company if yours looking for central AC repair. If they can't fix it, I would not trust them to install a new central AC system. read more

2 years ago (2017) Advanced AC installed our split system AC in our condo, as they gave an excellent bid (but not the lowest) and had great reviews, unlike the lowest bidder. Their team was excellent, extremely diligent, clean, professional and efficient. Not a single fingerprint or smudge, excellent installation. I had to call them this year as our compressor had to be removed from our lanai for painting, and again they went above my expectations in accommodating our needs. They are very reasonably priced, so I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of AC work or installation. Personally I have been in the property and hotel management business for several decades, so I know a great contractor when I see one. read more

Advanced A/C just installed a split system in our historic home, three outdoor units and four indoor. We are very satisfied with every aspect of the project, from start to finish. They provided a very competitive bid in a timely manner. Their installation team showed up on time and worked with us on minimizing the visual impact of the equipment. Thank you Kammie, Duane and the rest of the team!! read more

After trying several other A/C companies and being very unhappy with the results. I was referred to Advanced A/C by a friend and couldn't be more satisfied. Where other contractors fell short in the past Kammie and her team not only surpassed my expectations but were able to correct problems left behind by pervious installers. Their work is fast and efficient and extremely clean and professional. I could not be happier with the level of service and support I received. If you need A/C work done, do yourself a favor and call them! read more

I installed a Mitsubishi duo zone system for my living/dining area and a bedroom. I'm a very picky person and needless to say Advanced AC exceeded all my expectations! Bryson, Dennis, and Duane took great care in making sure that my furniture was protected and ensured that everything was clean before leaving. Their work was impeccably neat and clean. I'm thinking of installing another split system for my master bedroom and will definitely call Advanced AC to do the job! read more

We're doing a complete renovation of the interior of the house right now- windows, paint, doors, and AC as well as buying new furniture. The hubby really wanted AC but for me I saw it more as a luxury versus a necessity but I agreed to see how much it would cost. My part was to research and his part was to talk with the company. I researched a few companies on Yelp as well as the BBB and my criteria was that the estimate had to be free (some places actually charge), company had to have a clean slate with the BBB, and they had to be licensed. When I called Advanced AC, I spoke to Kammie and we set up an appt. At the free consultation, she and Dwayne showed up on time. They spent maybe about an hour talking about different options. Their service was pretty good and they were pleasant and assuring. They answered our multiple questions (mold on AC, Mitsubishi warranty, rebate, how to clean the system, how many units to a condenser, where should we put the condenser, etc.). A couple of days later we got the quote. We went back and forth with a few more questions and her customer service was excellent. And then we decided to hold off for a few months, as we had to get our windows and paint done. We called her and she remembered us. Once again, we had lots of questions. She took our multiple questions in stride. Then we solidified the date. Then the night before, hubby changed his mind and emailed Kammie the changes. Kammie called the next morning to confirm. The company finished the job in two days. We also asked that at least Kammie and Dwayne were on the job and they were. The hubby and I went back to look and they did a great job. Everything looked fantastic. So overall, I myself, a disbeliever in AC would recommend Advanced AC and Kammie and Dwayne. They are patient, responsive and the job looked excellent. Also the Mitsubishi units are fantastic. They are quiet, more resistant to mold than window ACs, and are easy to clean. The next review would be CCI for our windows. read more

We got a great estimate. Great appointment soon after for installation. Hard workers and very polite. We were doing another project involving loading stuff on a truck and the installers stopped doing what they were doing to lend a hand. I had to call them off and back to their task. Very considerate!!! The installation was great and everything is working well. Give them a chance if you are thinking of installing A/C. read more

My spouse and I recently had a split AC system installed. We have been in the renovation process for several months, leading us to reschedule our installation three times... Alma and Kammie were extremely patient and understanding of our situation. We actually shopped around prior to choosing Advanced A/C and found Kammie to be the most professional, knowledgeable and innovative with the placement of our system to achieve the best performance and least obtrusiveness for our home. They were true to their quote from the estimate to the installation; we felt confident we were getting the best. From something as simple as ensuring her workers wiped their fingerprints from our newly painted walls to precision placement of our unit, Kammie's crew provided superb service, respect and care for our home. There are many choices on Oahu for air conditioning companies. Advanced A/C should be at the top of your list! read more

POOR Customer services! Yelp askesd to rate: (0) Stars I called Kammie and asked for a quote but she seems too busy to give any??? Even though it was for only 1 unit, it could have led to the replacement of 9 of our older ones! Again, POOR Customer services. I always google my source, I did read below comments and I have should have known that they still have POOR Customer services. So happy for Yelp site, it does help! read more

I called to get an estimate about having someone come out to look at our central AC system since we've been having issues. Since they are located in Honolulu they want to charge us $85 per hour including the time it takes them to get from Honolulu to Ewa. Basically if they have to sit in traffic we have to pay them for their inconvenience. This is absurd and obviously we will keep looking. The person on the phone was very polite but a policy to charge someone per hour before you get to their house to even look at the system is absolutely ridiculous. read more

I currently have a Rheem central air conditioning unit however it wasn't cooling off my rooms and my electric bill was sky high. I called Advanced AC for a consultation. They called me back set up an appointment and came to my home to do an estimate. They were very resourceful and offered several options in cooling off my rooms. Kammie, Dwayne and the rest of their crew were very careful and efficient in getting the job done. I am very satisfied with the installation of the Mitsubishi split a/c units. The units operate efficiently and cools my bedrooms well. I'm now ready for the hot summer months. After the installation Kammie returned several days after for a follow up visit. read more

Thank you to Duane and his crew for installing my AC this morning. They were so professional, respectful and courteous! Awesome team!

Spoke with several AC contractors and as I was doing essentially the whole house I wanted a firm that would do the work in a timely, quality, and reliable manner. Came down to 2 firms and neither was the cheapest nor the most expensive. In the end we went with Advanced AC and as it turned out it was a very good decision. Kammie provided the estimate and while I thought we could do w/ less capacity (read less cost) I am very happy that we deferred to her recommendations as the recent hot and humid weather (90 degrees/90% humidity) has validated the recommendations. The installation crew was excellent! Timely, professional, and the quality of their work everything I had hoped for. They worked extra hard to complete the job and I am a very satisfied customer.
