I was very impressed with the great customer service and speedy installation of my new battery so I could go to work afterwards.

Worst Possible Customer Experience EVER! (Aug. 14, 2025)…read more I ordered my tires from Walmart via their very own website. I also made my appointment for installation at Walmart Store #03566 (9400 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231) to occur the day after the tires were delivered. I received an automated email from Walmart when the tires were shipped and again when they were delivered. I took a half-day off from work to go to the appointment, driving 18 miles to get there. I checked my email multiple times before the drive. Like a good customer, I arrived a half-hour early. I walked up to the desk to a snarky young man in an L.A. Dodgers baseball cap. As soon as I gave him my name, he said, "Yeah...your appointment was cancelled." He said the tires had not been delivered. Knowing that my tires had been delivered, I stood my ground. He reluctantly wandered away and came back saying that they were there, but my appointment was still cancelled, and there was nothing I could do about it. I was furious and did not allow him to push me around. I had to go "full Karen" on him, demanding to talk to his manager. Eventually, another young man came out. He did not introduce himself as the manager until I asked if he was. (In fact, NOT ONE EMPLOYEE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS WEARING A NAME TAG.) The "manager" was very conciliatory and made sure that my new tires were installed in a hurry. I lingered in the waiting area in clear view of the service desk. Eventually, a technician told me that my car had been ready for a while. I went to the service desk, where a female cashier did the entire transaction without speaking one word to me. And the RETALIATION went further ... They saw that I am disabled, use a mobility device, and have disabled plates on my car. So they moved my car to a spot about a thousand feet from the bays. I demanded that they bring it to me. I checked the tires, and they all looked good until I ran the TPMS monitor from my steering wheel. THEY DID NOT RESET IT. So I pulled out the book and followed the instructions to RESET IT MYSELF. The tire pressure on all four tires is all over the place - 36 PSI on one, 27 on another, etc, not in line with the recommendation on the door sticker placed there by GM. Now I must take it elsewhere to get my tire pressures to the proper level. (BTW - the "manager" declares that the appointment was cancelled by the computer at the corporate level, and they do it all the time. I watched as they dismissed other single female customers with the same "your appointment had been cancelled" story.)

I was so anxious as…read moreshe has only lived in Denver for a couple of years and we really have not had any experience with finding a great mechanic. She had purchased the vehicle from Carmax and also purchased the extended warranty. They basically handed her a list of Mechanic shops to choose from but we literally knew nothing about any of them. She ended up choosing the shop that was closest to her house and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Travis was the best! He was very communicative, never pressured her to spend money on non-necessary items, also never tried to upsell her on repairs that she didn't actually need. They fixed her car in a timely manner and assisted her with filing the claim (apparently there is a paperwork process when you use a Carmax approved shop?) anyways, he made sure that was all handled correctly and all of the necessary repairs were included. It's hard to be 1000 miles away and let your child handle these things by themselves... luckily (for everyone involved) they were amazing to work with and everything went great. We will certainly be back if she ever needs any car repairs in the future.

Then, why did I come to you??? Then, added 4 other recommendations. When I asked if the diagnostic could be netted against the other repairs, was denied. A high-pressure fuel pump and EGR cooler replacement, along with an oil change, turned into a…read morenightmare for any Jeep owner due to the dealership's unskilled and overpaid workers. Less than 100 miles after having recall work done on my Jeep at the dealership, leaks began to appear. These leaks were never reported while the vehicle was at the shop for over a week, during which they replaced the EGR cooler and the high-pressure fuel pump. The leaks started right where the repairs had been made and appeared after I picked up the vehicle. On my way to my sister's, I didn't even make it 10 miles before the Jeep started overheating. I immediately pulled over and checked all the fluids. To my shock, the coolant reservoir was empty, even though the vehicle had been in pristine condition aside from one glow plug code. Not knowing what was happening, I contacted a local mechanic to have the Jeep inspected the next day. Carefully driving it home and pulling over several times to prevent overheating, I then took it to the first shop. They found severe leaks, indicating that the vehicle couldn't hold coolant or water. It was then towed to a diesel specialty shop, where they confirmed that these leaks had been ongoing for a long time. They also pointed out poor workmanship from the recall work. I then contacted the dealership to share these findings. The service manager instructed me to have the vehicle towed back to the dealership so they could assess the issue. Their insurance agreed to cover the towing cost if it was found to be their fault, but after two and a half months and multiple calls to customer service, the dealership refused to return my vehicle and began charging me unauthorized fees. They also caused further damage by failing to properly connect the EGR cooler, leading to the engine being starved of coolant and eventually blowing the head gasket. There was also an oil leak that was never fixed. Now, my vehicle, which I've driven less than 3,000 miles, is essentially a paperweight. I still need to involve the police to retrieve my vehicle, and that process has not yet happened. This situation has caused me immense stress, especially during the holidays. This dealership should be held accountable and shut down by the Attorney General or through a class-action lawsuit. As a disabled substitute teacher, I can't work without my vehicle, and I wasn't provided a loaner car. My disability covers my transportation to medical appointments, but that's it. This situation has caused me immense pain and anguish.
