I went to this AutoZone for two oil filters for my two vehicles. When I went to replace them, both were wrong! I had supplied Autozone all the important make, model, engine size, etc. information, including VIN. How do you get it wrong with the VIN??? I subtracted 2.5 stars for each wrong part because it cost me the better part of two hours to get the right parts. I then added back in two stars because the manager gave me both correct filters free. I would have added another star but the manager did not offer an apology, and acted like her employee did nothing wrong. Won't go back to this Autozone on the corner of Evans and Monaco in Denver. Others are much better. Purchaser beware. read more

Been here more times than I remember over the last 10 years, both for myself or helping a friend with his vehicles. Store is clean and pretty well-organized, they have a good selection of product for any number of factors: wipers, brakes, customization kits -- they probably have it here. Staff is usually helpful although they recently provided my friend with the *wrong-size rotor for his brake job*...had to go back after 45 mins of "trying to make it fit" and finally realizing what had happened. There's enough traffic here that I think they could hire another person part-time to assist customers in looking up part #s, providing info, etc etc. Sometimes you have to wait a bit to get someone's attention. They do provide free OBD checks here, which is a nice touch -- something most places charge for. I also often wondered why Advance Auto Parts set up shop right next door to them a few years ago...but if you feel like shuttling back n forth between the stores, it makes a nice opportunity to compare the two, what they have to offer, or price-checking certain parts. Competitiveness seems to be encouraged by that, and that's good for the consumer. read more

My check engine light came on and I was told to stop by autozone to have them check what was wrong. Anthony walked right out to my car and ran a check and printed out a report for free. He also installed new windshield wipers after making sure that I'd picked the right ones for my vehicle. Anthony was very polite and helpful, I was not kept waiting for one moment, I was in and out in ten minutes. A very pleasant experience! read more

My battery had died. I had to get a jump to get to AutoZone to get a replacement and Mike who worked there was extremely helpful in replacing the battery. The positive connector was covered on corrosion. He took it off, cleaned it up and was able to put it back on and re-use it. I felt like he went out of his way to help us when he didn't have to. I went in one evening to get replacement windshield wiper blades as mine were past their end-of-life. The clerk at the service desk come around, found the right set for my vehicle, rang me up, and proceeded to come outside to my car and change the wiper blades in a couple minutes without my asking or expecting! This place is great! My Saab started overheating and I saw them, right there, so I pulled in, explained the situation to them, and waited for my car to cool off. Jeffery ran a test and discovered out two unrelated potential issues but also found that my car wasn't leaking and helped to offer suggestions on what could potentially be the issue. Although I was not given a definitive assessment, they are an auto parts store, not a garage, thus any insight was welcome to be considered. zero stars!!!!!! screw this place! i called around to multiple auto stores to find a strut for my vehicle and this store said they had it. the kid i talked to said no problem, ordered my part after i paid for it and said it would take 3 days to come in. it's been 4 so i call the store and the "manager" tells me there's nothing he can do and the part is suddenly out of stock. so why wouldnt you call and tell me that, no make the customer do your job for you. and dont fucking hang up on your customer when they get mad at you because your fucking employees cant do their damned job. dont ever go here, the manager and employees are assholes and wont help you for anything even when you pay. horrible work performance, i dont give a rats ass about manners when your end fucked up in the first place - do not hang up on customers or you shouldnt be the manager dick. read more

what a NIGHTMARE!!! They hooked up my battery backwards, frying a bunch of components in my car. They said they'd do the right thing and restore it to it's previous condition, then snaked out of paying for around 40% of the repairs, leaving me out almost 2 grand. Biggest mistake I ever made with a vehicle was letting these people touch it. Despicable. They told me they'd refund the battery price as well. When I came to collect they told me they needed the battery (which the repair shop THEY sent me to obviously disposed of.) This was not mentioned in the first conversation. Stay away. Earlier this week, during a slow storm, my car battery completely died at a store across the street from this Auto Zone. I came over to the store and was helped by Brandon. He was just about to clock out because his shift was over, but he stayed to help me! He came over to where my car was and even replaced the battery in the snow! Now that's great service. I had a terrible experience at this location. I had just been at the Leetsdale location, where some very nice gentlemen tried to help me and my mom get a screw of if my cargo carrier so that I could buy a lock in their store. They did not have the correct size socket (22) and recommended that we go to this location. When we arrived, I walked in and asked a guy if he could help me so that I could buy a new lock for the tow bar. He point blank said no. He said that he was "up to his ass" in a shipment they had just received, and he could not spare any of his men. I explained to him that I needed a size 22 socket, and it would take like one minute. He said, "Yeah. I can't do it." I told him that I would be calling corporate to discuss. He yelled at me as I was walking out the door, "Go Ahead! The number is on the door. My name is Tony!" I got the number from the door, and proceeded to call their district manager, Hector. As I was leaving a message, Tony walked about to help some of his Black customers. I am biracial, but so guess the color of my white skin was enough for him to not want to help me. My mom went inside to ask why he wouldn't help me when another worker told her that if she was going to have an attitude, "there's the door!" This is the problem today. Employees treat their customers like shit because they feel entitled and there are no consequences. Hector called me the next day, but since I was on the road, traveling, I did not return his call for a few days. I have yet to hear back from him. It would have cost this "man" nothing to be a decent human being, but that was just too much for Tony. As a result, I will never go to Austin Sone again. There are way too many options out there than to give my business to people who think it's okay to act like a racist jackass with their customers. read more

My experience at this AutoZone started off not so great as I wasn't too pleased with the customer service nor service provided with battery as a lot of hiccups happened on my first visit. The employees I worked with were nice, but nothing went right this first visit. HOWEVER, when I returned because I was still dissatisfied as battery issue was still not resolved, Anthony the manager and Kesuan (KP) completely went above and beyond. They took the time to listen, they took the time to rectify and change my initial negative experience around and finally fixed my battery issue. I was adamant about not returning to this Autozone, but will now after my experience with these two gentlemen. Thank you Tony and KP! Great experience! read more

Most helpful and kindest store employees ever! I was having battery issues and one gentleman (Jeffrey?) came out in the bitter cold to test my battery. When it showed the battery was fine, he went as far as to locate and tighten the loose wire that was causing issues. I wasn't expecting such excellent customer service and was blown away by his helpfulness. I will forever go out of my way to shop at this location now. I do not recommend coming here! A few weeks ago my headlight went out so I came in to pick up the bulb. I asked the associate if he would be able to replace it for me (he seemed hesitant) but still said he would. After fiddling with it for about 5 minutes he went in to get some tools and proceeded to pull at the bumper and ended up breaking a few retainers. I'm not quite sure he even knew how to get to the bulb, let alone replace it. Worried he was going to break more parts I told him I would just take the bulb to my mechanic to fix. Stopped in here a few months ago to get what I needed when E was teaching me how to change my oil. Today we were back so he could teach me how to swap out my brakes. Love him :) The guy in here today was so incredibly helpful that this place almost deserves a 5th star just because he works there. He quickly located my brakes while E wandered off to look for an air filter. As E was perusing the wall and trying to find what he needed, which can sometimes be incredibly hard, the guy got all the information on E's truck from me, walked over to the wall, and got it for him. Nice customer service! Overall, I think I am just in a good mood because I found out that while the Brakes Plus $99 deal sounds awesome, I was able to do the same work for $25 with parts from AutoZone. He was able to look up all the important information and differences between the two batteries I was choosing from. I was in and out in about 5-7 minutes. That's exactly what I needed to do. I needed replacement bulbs for my 2003 Toyota 4Runner. I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed any help. Oh, yes I did! I was hoping I could replace these bulbs myself rather than going to an auto repair place. The polite young man looked up my vehicle make and year and gave me 5 choices of increasing brightness and cost. I made my selection and he gave me some easy instructions while I paid a very reasonable price. In the parking lot, I has my bulbs replaces in 10 minutes. Made me feel so competent. Yay! read more

Will never take my business to this Autozone again. I was working with the manager Jolcelyn and there was some confusion about pricing/a charge on my card so I was put on hold. The store manager Luis picked up the phone and was extremely rude, disrespecting and hostile towards me. He continued to argue points and talk over me when I had questions or tried answering his. I asked to finish my transaction with Jocelyn and he refused to let me talk to her and stated that I am dealing with him now and that I was "just feeling some type of way." The entire interaction was unprofessional and hostile and completely unwarranted. I asked if I had offended Jocelyn or something and after finally speaking to her again she stated that I had not been rude and she didn't know why he was treating me that way or talking to me that way. This is an auto parts store. I am never excited about needing to stop in here. When I do shop here, it's only because the boyfriend(mechanic) sends me here to pick up a part for him (rarely) or for me to pick up a part/parts for my car. I come in and tell the salesperson what I'm looking for, the staff helps me, while asking me useless questions that I don't know the answers to since I'm just the pickup girl and I pay, then leave. I never ask for assistance to help diagnose a problem, just where to pick up necessary items, pay and leave. Therefore, for what I do here, it is A-OK. read more

I bought a battery to replace the one my alternator murdered. That went swell. However, the guy casually mentioned that he "accidentally" knocked one of the bolts down but it wasn't a big deal. He said it was just under the battery but it shouldn't be a problem because it couldn't go anywhere. A week later, I had a mechanic replace the alternator and my husband asked him if he could disconnect the battery so he could get the bolt that fell at Autozone. To our surprise, the mechanic said that it was broken off completely! Wow. I can't believe that guy broke my sh** and had the nerve to say don't worry about it. He lied to my face. read more

They sold me the wrong headlight bulb. I had to go to a mechanic to get it installed. When I turned on my car, I realized the lights were not the same. The one I bought has a yellow tinge and my headlights are white. So I drove back to Autozone and told them my problem. They told me I had to buy the correct lightbulb, go back to the mechanic to get it re-installed (which would cost another $30), and then return the wrong light that they sold me. When I gave them the receipt, they told me that the light bulb sold to me ($99 for just one light bulb) wasn't even listed under my make, model, and year The girl that looked at my car also consulted with another person before selling me this $99 lightbulb. So this past week my alternator went dead... Went to AutoZone, and they sold me an alternator that had a sheered-off bolt lodged in it. I didn't notice, so I took it to my mechanic, who took one look and pointed the problem out to me. I took it back to AutoZone. They didn't have another one to exchange, and refused to let me return it (a $150 part) because they don't accept damaged returns - although he did say he believed me that I bought it damaged. After I started calling the regional manager, they decided to make an exception and take it back. I will NEVER use them again!! read more

This is one of the best auto parts store that I've been to. Considering I've been to others, another review, this one tends to have some excellent customer service employees. I went in last week to get vehicle maintenance for my Jeep that I needed and the store manager was one who helped me out with my long list. He even offered to let me know which other parts store might carry what they didn't. But he was overall friendly and more than willing to help me out with suggestions. This is my go to store for my parts needs. Plus, I went in today again for engine coolant and the staff was helpful in explaining which brand to get. Surprisingly she didn't say that the AutoZone brand was better than all the others, but instead pointed out that with another brand I can get a rebate of $3. Ok deal. I'll most likely be back tomorrow for some basic tools that I'll need for this week that I didn't get today. read more
