Everyone here has been very pleasant, but the delay is unreasonable. I had a 9:45AM appointment, for which I showed up 1 hour early (8:45). I received an estimated completion time of 9:53AM and it is now 10:50AM and my car is still not completed. No one explained there would be a delay and the only thing I was told was my car would be done early...and quickly. Neither of which happened. I have been a long time customer with discount tires. I received a flat tire and pulled into this location and asked them to help me as I could not drive on this tire. I realize there are appointments and so I waited the assigned time. Unfortunately, I had to wait much longer than what they told me and I felt no support. I believe the whole point of having a tire company is to help their customers when they get into an emergency situation as they advertise warranty and good customer support. I should feel safe and like they would take care of me. Having capacity to support your customers who have issues with the tires that were purchased from your company should be part of your business model. I am so done with Discount tire! I have purchased many many tires from them over the course of thirty years. The past several years however, have resulted in horrible, inexcusable business practices. When I pulled into the Littleton location a couple of months ago with a nearly flat tire, they refused to repair it because the tires were older than ten years. The vehicle belonged to my elderly mother who literally only drives the car less than 1000 miles per year. I now use the car once each week to take her from her assisted living facility for a short drive around the local area. The tire barely have 5,000 miles on them. Fortunately, Big-O was happy to repair the tire. Today I took my Jeep Wrangler in to have the off-road tires rotated. The Jeep is driven about 100 miles per month and the tires I learned just hit the ten year mark. Well, they refused service due to their policy of not working on tires older than 10 years. Each tire cost me around $350 each and are only a quarter worn. The representative was however anxious to sell me a new set of tires! Once again, I was able to go to another tire store and have them rotated. I am done with Discount and refuse to purchase tires from them ever again! read more

I've been doing business exclusively with Discount Tire for about 25 years. I've found them in whatever city I'm in. I've visited this Colo Blvd location about 9 times. The last three times I've been here, it's been a sh*# show. They are way too busy for the capacity of the facility and for the number of employees present. Their historically good customer service, free patches, and rotations will not last forever. I had to wait in a long line for 20 minutes at 9 am on a Tuesday morning. They said my tire plug would be done at 12:30. I was headed out of town for work. I didn't get the "it's ready" text until 2:30. 5.5 hours to plug a screw hole. When i came to pick up my car, I had to wait in line 15-20 minutes again. They could have a separate desk for pickups maybe? The salespeople that are waiting on the dozen customers in line in the lobby are also handling a never-ending stream of phone calls. Sometimes these calls take 10 minutes! I feel bad for the employees. They must hate all the dirty looks and sighs. When they're done with the cars, the sales guys drive them two blocks away to store them until the customer returns. This takes them away from the lobby for 10 minutes at a time. Super inefficient. If you wish to do business with this location, make sure you have the entire day, and have slept well. It's going to be a long frustrating day. Personally, I'm going to look for another shop next time. I've learned my lesson. read more

I had a flat tire on my Model 3 today. My first call was to AAA which sent a tow truck. My second call was to Discount Tire on at 2446 Colorado Blvd, Denver. When I arrived, my car was in the service bay within 20 minutes. The technician removed the tire and diagnosed a puncture hole; it was from a piece of metal that looked like a flat nail. He repaired the tire and I was on my way in another 15 minutes. Everyone was professional, helpful and efficient. Best of all, there was no charge for the repair! ok my car to discount tire on Colorado Blvd to get a hole repaired. When I got there I was checked in and asked to move my car into a parking spot in the lot. I did so, walked in and gave them my keys. When I got back I was told my tire couldn't be repaired because the rim was bent, we looked at prices of new rims, cost for installation and then they gave me my keys and I got in my car. As I'm about to start the car a woman comes and knocks on my window and accuses me of hitting her car, honestly I told her to fuck off and she said "look at your bumper you have a scratch too" I got out and looked and low and behold, there's a big ass scratch on the front of my car. I went back in and apologized to the woman and then told the front desk that I thought someone hit her car with my car, I was told that I HIT HER CAR. Me. I did it. And that one of the teenagers working there saw me do it. Keep in mind, nobody said anything to me about this at any point, when I came in, when I pulled into the space, when I left- nothing. But now that I'm bringing it up, supposedly there were witnesses. The man at the desk said he saw me pull in but couldn't see the front of my car. But didn't *think* I hit anything. I told them to pull the cameras, they don't have any. They said "we have pictures before we took it into the bay" but the pics are on the phone of the person who moved it, 2 mins before it was checked into the bay. So obviously this person hit the car backing out, and just took pictures before checking it in. I spoke with someone else who was at this location 2 weeks earlier and they did not take photos of their car, so why are they taking photos of my car 30 minutes after they "saw" me hit someone, before they put it in the bay if this is not a regular practice. They gaslit me, refused to file a damage claim, and then told me to leave without ANY SOLUTION or remedy. Honestly had they just taken accountability I would've gone about my day and not made a big fuss about it, but the fact that they tried to gaslight me and take advantage of me because they wanted to avoid accountability. I DRIVE 26FT BOX TRUCKS FOR A LIVING EVERY DAY. I would have FELT my car scratch another vehicle. Like I am NOT stupid. This is my job, if this woman had filed a hit and run case on me, because these people claim I hit her car, I would've gotten in legal trouble and it would affect my ability to do my job. This is serious. I would've taken accountability for the situation but I'm not going to be bullied into thinking it was me when I KNOW I did not hit that car. The poor woman who was driving the other car obviously believed me, and kept apologizing but I am livid, I still have a hole in my tire, and now I am having to file a police report and complain to corporate to try to get it fixed. Don't go to Discount Tire on Colorado blvd unless you want them to fuck up your car and try to gaslight you into thinking it was you. I got new tires installed from this discount tire and it was the biggest shit show I've ever had to deal with my car. They screwed up my tire pressure monitors and my stereo head unit. They kept resetting the tire pressure system and it kept not working. Whatever they did fried my audio system as it stopped working directly after the service and never worked again. I filed a claim with them and they filed it as disputed which there was no way for me to prove they caused it but definitely was. They were just trying to protect their interest but a 1200 dollar tire install became a 5200$ tire install with my new stereo head unit and all the labor involved. They screwed me so damn hard that I wanted to return my tires but that would mean having to go back for a 5th time. I will never go to another discount tire. Also while I was there a technician hit a woman's brand new bmw and laughed at her for being frustrated because they had no cameras to reveal the truth. Jose, Phil and all the people who work here are cheap scumbugs exactly what you would expect when dealing with car guys. You guys know damn well I tried to fix this on my own and went for a month without audio trying not to make you guys pay if I could fix it.
