Sonya was very kind, helped me replace my car battery in the dark, and made me laugh.

They require your used oil to be polished and filtered. I apologized to the rep that I wasn't able to also deodorize the oil. He understood, but he felt the roses were a nice touch. read more

Went in to get a new battery and Freddy was very helpful and installed it for me! Took 20 minutes!

I was joyfully washing my car on one of those days where it's warm and sunny in Denver, happily anticipating a clean car in the middle of winter, until suddenly I realized that my car had locked me out. Trying not to panic because my key wouldn't work to open the door, I realized that the battery in my remote control must be fried so I managed to unlock the car, and drove straight down to this Advance Auto Parts store. They immediately knew which battery I needed, supplied the tools to open up the remote control, and even helped me close it, since at first I mistakenly closed up the remote control backwards, and the buttons wouldn't work. The device was tested by the entrance with one foot in the door, and Walla! The car beeped, and my life was back to normal. Cannot fathom how much a locksmith would have cost to fix this one, and to fix the problem just for a new $5.00 battery, who can complain. The diodes are pretty complicated to understand, and might be worn out, but for now they work. And of course the next day the temperature dropped and we had a big snowstorm. read more

I was sent on a parts run by the bf this past weekend, as he was working on my car. I ended up going to this store twice in less than hour. I first started at AutoZone, but they only had 1 out of 2 parts that I needed. They suggested I go to another Auto Zone some miles away for the 2nd part, but I knew that wouldn't happen, when less than .001 mile away there was Advance Auto Parts. And luckily they had the parts I needed for my car and they were on sale. Sweet! I was greeted quickly upon entering and the person helping located the parts and I paid and left the store in less than 5 minutes. Awesome! The second time, the bf sent me back for parts for his car this time. My second visit wasn't as quick, but the service was still stellar and I was done in maybe 15 minutes and most items were on sale, which was an extra bonus to me. I don't know much about car parts and usually have no need to go to these type of stores often, but I do know that I will head to Advance Auto Parts next time without hesitation. read more

One of the lights on my vehicle was out and I could not find the correct part name in my manual. Being a woman, I hate dealing with car issues. I always feel like I am going to get ripped off. The location had ample parking, and the customer service was friendly. The guy even came out to my car to make sure he was getting me exactly what I needed. $6 later, I was on my way. I would come here again for the friendly customer service and competitive pricing. read more

LaNell at advance auto parts was super courteous and helpful when checking and installing a new battery for my car. Excellent service!

Was immediately greeted when I walked in and asked if I needed help finding anything. They looked up my parts quickly and went and got the items I needed off the shelf for me. Was also able to have them price match another brand for a sale item they had out of stock. Friendly, helpful and efficient. Great staff. read more

I went into Advanced Auto Parts because my blinker went out. This had happened once before I remember getting a lightbulb, lubricant, and a rubber glove. So, like a complete weirdo, that's what I asked for without even explaining myself. Thankfully, Lonell took it all in stride. He kept me laughing the entire time he fixed my tail light and entertained my kids. I can't say enough good things about him. Somebody give this man a raise! read more

I went in extremely frustrated because I couldn't swap my wipers out. Lanell immediately came out to help me and was so kind, encouraging, and helpful. He helped me finish changing the wipers while teaching me about the process. I was embarrassed that I didn't know how to do it and he made me feel so much better about it. I can't express how grateful I am for his service! read more

My sister and I went into an advance Auto store on East Colfax at about 8:45. There was no other customers in the store and two staff members working. We asked the gentleman if he could look up a part after throwing his broom down and giving us a huge sigh of burden he attempted to look up the part asking us information like the part number things we don't have we just were needing his help. The man was completely put out and clearly did not want to help us. We then asked if he could check the code to read my sister's check engine and he said they were about to close. We asked again politely if he could please just give us the code and he flat out told us no they were closing but they still had 15 minutes before the store actually closed. So in essence the store closes at 8:45 and nobody there wants to help you so don't go there because they're rude unprofessional and clearly don't want to work! read more

Rude customer service by Tom, was not helpful, and in fact seem bothered to be dealing with me, store was slow. Disappointed, won't go back. Besides another auto parts store is 50 yards away. read more

Great service, they greeted me at the door and were very friendly. I went to Autozone to get my battery replaced but they told me it was too complicated for them. They totally took care of me here and LaNell replaced my battery super quick and was super friendly! read more

This review is strictly regarding Advance Auto Parts as a UPS Access Point location. First time, they took had trouble finding the package taking well over fifteen minutes. Store rep also had problems checking the package out. I wrote this off as the Access Point service was still relatively new. Last night, I was suppose to have had a package received. A rep refused the package for some reason, with my finding out too late to contact UPS last night, and the package being returned to the sender this morning. I contacted UPS finally and was told there was no way I could get things corrected. I have been forced to choose a less convenient UPS Access Point due to the actions of the Advance Auto Parts rep who clearly had no idea what he/she was doing. This was a time sensitive delivery that has been totally screwed up. Advance Auto Parts may be good with car parts, etc., but as a UPS Access Point are the definition of incompetent. read more

I came to buy a wiper blade because I thought the one I purchased from somewhere else did not fit. Two employees spent several minutes helping me get the one I bought installed since it did end up being the right size. Very helpful staff! read more

Um, can't exactly give this a 5 star even though I got great customer service. Technically I would only give this place a 3.8, which is closer to 4 than 3. But the service was friendly and asking a lot of questions. But they should have been a bit more knowledgeable in their products. I got some of what I needed, though I wouldn't say this is my "home store" so to speak. I'd rather go across the parking lot to Auto Zone. read more

Great service I really appreciate all the help in getting correct parts need for a special job I'll continue shopping with Advanced for all my needs thanks again read more

LaNell is definitely customer service oriented. He helped me out in a pickle with my significant other car!

Although the folks were busy helping a slew of customers, after a short wait, I was walked professionally through the entire process I replacing my car battery. They gave me several price options (which were all very reasonable) and good advice about which battery would best sit my needs. Then, a skilled employee came out to my car and replaced the battery in a few short minutes. I expected this errand to be a big hassle, but they had me on my way in no time with a smile on my face. read more

I bought a universal phone mount and a cabin air filter. After struggling for awhile along with the help of a friend who used to build race cars, I gave up on doing it myself. I decided to return the items but the rep who assisted me, Josh, asked if he could help. I said sure and within a minute or so he rigged the phone mount and so far it's working great; Then he quickly figured out how to remove the glove compartment so that I could replace the air filter. BTW, youtube videos and the manual weren't much help. But just as I was feeling so proud for replacing the filter, after a very frustrating 15 minutes, I couldn't get the glove compartment back in. I ran back to the store and once again, it's Josh to the rescue. He had it sitting perfectly within two minutes. It's thanks to people like Josh that I just might be trying to 'do it myself' again...but 'with a lot of help from my friends.' And that should be good news for the store because it means "I'll be back." You're the man, Josh. read more

Not sure about the service. But they do close up and lock the doors no less than 10 minutes before that are actually supposed to close.

These guys were great! Not only were they friendly and helpful checking out, but I was in the parking lot working under the hood and they came out and helped a little. And they weren't pretentious snobs about it, like at other places, just helpful. Highly recommend. read more

Incredible Service!! I special ordered some parts for my Nissan Xterra today. With Joe's help I was able to obtain the parts in time for my mechanic to install them before this weekend. Joe went above and beyond and hand-delivered them to the store closest to my location - no questions asked. Thanks man! read more

I have never been in a any type of retail store that had employee's that were so terrible at their jobs. If you have ever seen a three stooges show on TV That is how these employee's must have been trained because this auto part store is a big joke. I noticed other reviews were 4 start I would think it is a requirement to give a good review before you are hired. read more
