My daughter (who lives 1000 miles away from me) had to get her car repaired. I was so anxious as she has only lived in Denver for a couple of years and we really have not had any experience with finding a great mechanic. She had purchased the vehicle from Carmax and also purchased the extended warranty. They basically handed her a list of Mechanic shops to choose from but we literally knew nothing about any of them. She ended up choosing the shop that was closest to her house and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Travis was the best! He was very communicative, never pressured her to spend money on non-necessary items, also never tried to upsell her on repairs that she didn't actually need. They fixed her car in a timely manner and assisted her with filing the claim (apparently there is a paperwork process when you use a Carmax approved shop?) anyways, he made sure that was all handled correctly and all of the necessary repairs were included. It's hard to be 1000 miles away and let your child handle these things by themselves... luckily (for everyone involved) they were amazing to work with and everything went great. We will certainly be back if she ever needs any car repairs in the future. read more

Went in for diagnostic on display screen. Mentioned did not want replacement. They said they can do it. Did not fix issue, and recommended taking to dealership for a fix or replacement. Then, why did I come to you??? Then, added 4 other recommendations. When I asked if the diagnostic could be netted against the other repairs, was denied. So they did nothing for me except took $140 to tell me to take it to the dealership. The representative was argumentative, uncooperative and rude. Very frustrated. read more

They are extremely hostile as soon as I walked in the door regarding a mutual clients car. I was here to tow the vehicle from the shop at the mutual customers request. They were attempting to charge the customer $125/Day storage fees for a period of three days, when I questioned them regarding the storage fees they got belligerent and stated they weren't going to release the car even with the signed release waiver. They then said they would have to call the customer, however they wouldn't be doing that until Monday, they are closed Saturday and Sunday so in retaliation for questioning them regarding the documentation agreement (Required by Law).... The law is as follows "Written Agreement Required: Storage fees can only be charged if there's a separate written agreement between the shop and the customer, specifying the amount. This agreement must be distinct from the repair estimate or invoice and must include bold-type language stating: * "A storage fee may not be charged unless a written agreement, separate from any other repair document, for an amount is reached." "They began telling me to leave and that they would need to talk to Jessica before releasing the vehicle even though I have a signed vehicle release form. They informed me that I would not be able to retrieve the vehicle for my customer without paying the arbitrary and not legally binding wording they presented without a signature and would be retaliating due to the impasse we had arrived at regarding the storage(It actually was not an impasse as I had my card out and was prepared to pay the unjustified fees to retrieve the vehicle and informed them that it would get resolved just like any other dispute, through the courts. They then stated they felt threatened. I only used my words, never raised my voice and seemed to be the only person in the building that wanted a resolution for our mutual client. So, long story long.... Aggressive, combative and retaliatory behavior was all on display. I can't speak to other people's experience but this was surely my experience with the folks at Import Sports Performance. It's a hard pass for me. read more

I sadly had a tough experience with this shop. I've been nothing but a good customer, and they got really mad when I explained candidly I thought they were not a top-tier shop. The work is mediocre. I've had to have multiple repairs redone; and they don't really give you the full picture with issues because I think they don't want you to go somewhere else. Sometimes their prices are more than the dealership; in general, the sales tech is easy to work with, but the cost and quality of the repairs are not ideal. I am just giving one star instead of 3 because they got defensive and mad about it and didn't want me "exposing" questionable repair reliability online which would potentially drive away customers. It's never a good sign if someone tries to silence their customers. read more

In the past few months, I took my van to other shops in the area always looking to maintain or improve my vehicle. I had my Ford Focus towed here after it died while driving. I spoke with Jordan on the phone and he was very friendly and accommodating with me getting the car towed even though it was a little later in the day. Travis checked me in when I got here and pointed out a couple local places for food while I waited for my ride. They had the car diagnosed quickly and sent me the breakdown in a text so I could read everything myself and not feel pressured into buying extra services--which I have to say were largely absent. They did have a couple of additional repair recommendations, but they prioritized them for me in order of seriousness and included pictures so I could see the problems myself. The prices seemed fair, especially compared to the dealers. They had my car up and running the next day! Probably one of the worst shops ever. My check engine light came on, in a panic I wanted to get it fixed ASAP. Very helpful over the phone and had me trusting I was putting my vehicle into the right hands. They lied about how long they were going to keep my car, and had it 2 weeks.I was able to get a rental, but only for a week. Leaving me stranded without a car. They did not contact the warranty company to extend the time frame or offer any kind compensation when THEY tightened the tread on the front axle too much & had to replace the whole axel. I had to wait on them to fix their mess up without any kind of compensation. Even better, driving away 3 separate times after "repairs" check engine light comes back on, not even out of the parking lot. When I talked to management about this issue, Sam said " sorry if there's anything else I can help with let me know." We left it at that, then 15 minutes later I got a call from him claiming he fired the technician who worked on my car immediately after the incident. Why could they not tell me that on the first phone call??? After the service, I still wasn't comfortable driving my car not sure if they even fixed anything. Had to pay for another diagnostic at the Land Rover dealership. Very disappointed and I hope no one else goes here. read more

These guys call themselves pros, yet they were UNABLE to fix a classic JDM sports car. I took them my 82 Celica Supra in the hopes that it was going to be professionally fixed but at the end it came out worse than when it entered the shop. I brought it to them running it would just loose power. Now that they gave me the vehicle, the car won't even start or run. Every time they had some weird unusual excuse for finding parts for my car. At first they started saying that it was a half year car. No dude, I know my car it's a MK2 Supra from 82. Then they basically changed parts they thought would make the car run. They were wrong. Every time I spoke with Jordan he seemed confused on how to proceed and work with my vehicle. Jordan even said it with his own mouth that the techs were scratching their heads and were unable to figure out what's wrong with my car. Jordan even tried telling me that there computer diagnostics couldn't read a car from that year. Well yeah, in the early 80s there were no computers reading diagnostics. This car would have ran if they did the basic work right: Spark, fuel, air, etc. The day I picked up my car I had a veteran of Cressidas and Supras look at my car and he pointed out several things that were wrong. They left my distributor cap all loose, timing was off, etc. Then he mentioned how you can use a paper clip and to bridge T1 and E1 to check for diagnostics codes. Jordan and his crew at Import Sports never even mentioned that. Jordan and his crew told me that the ECU probably went bad and that was the last part that's left to change to make the car run. And what do you know, we changed the ECU and the car still won't run. I was told by 2 different people that have owned this car that the igniters and ECUs on these cars rarely go bad. After I spent thousands of dollars and the car is still not running I have the right to be upset. Every time I spent money for them to change one part they pressured me to tow my car away. Like they were just ready to get rid of me and move onto the next customer to leach their money. I am really upset of how they treated me like I was just money on a tree they could pick. When my car was left parked outside of their shop they forgot to tape up my passenger window. Anyone could have gone in to tamper my car. The last day I was there I asked Jordan to print me my invoices and he said he was out of paper, like I literally gave you thousands of dollars and you can't even print an invoice, come on! My goal was to have a running car and these guys failed to accomplish that goal. These guys ARE NOT pros at what they do. Don't trust them. They were not able to fix a classic JDM sports car. read more

THEY RIPPED ME OFF!! I called them to see if they had the computer equipment to diagnose my car's engine which had just gotten the check engine light on. They assured me they did and they would be a lot less expensive then the car dealer. I had my car brought there on July 8. They kept my car till July 13. At that time they told me they had no idea what was causing my check engine light to come on and I should come get my car. THEY CHARGED ME $107.00 TO TELL ME THEY COULD'NT FIX MY CAR! I THEN TOOK MY CAR TO THE CAR DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED MY CAR'S PROBLEM AS JUST NEEDING NEW SPARK PLUGS. read more

This shop doesn't care about you, they just want to charge you with the most they can charge with all OEM parts for higher cost, they are not friendly, as you seen in their pics here, it advertised alignment for 69$ but they want charge me for 140$ for all wheel alignment, what a ripped off!!, So, i took my car to Break Plus with a coupon for 50$ for All wheel Alignment, i saved!!..Import Sports will over charge you with their work. I never take my car back there again. My suggestion is to take your car to the next door shop the ProImport LLC on the same strip Plaza, these guys here are a lot more friendly and helpful, they're always saved me money and find ways to fix things for less cost. Destroyed my engine, denied any liability. On my turbo install, they neglected to secure the hoses connecting to the unbarbed T-fitting, causing the hose to blow off. The overboost damaged 2 of my 4 cylinders down to 90 compression within 24 hours. They were at 180 before the install. The engine is now "blown" and must be rebuilt, which they quoted me at $2500-$4000. They said they've done "many" turbo installs without securing hoses to unbarbed T-fittings.
